She spent SO much time consulting with me. With her expertise and advice, I felt like I made great decisions. On the way out, I also bought a pair of earrings and a necklace for myself. This is my new jewelry store and I will always work with Ricki. I loved her personality and sense of humor. :)

I work as food delivery person. These people ordered a lot of food, did not tip and did not even say Thank You. I hope they treat their actual customers better. I would never go in there to even have a watch battery changed.I need to add Dishonest, or Memory Impaired, in their rebuttal they say they gave a generous tip through the restaurant, they ordered through a food App gave ZERO tip

About a month ago, I had bought an AP 5548 from tarry. Sadly, it was not packed properly as the watch was just put in the original box without any wrapping and it was sliding around inside the original box. When we got it, the rotor seemed to make a funny noise, so I asked other owners of a 5548 about the noise, and he said it was not normal. So, I contacted Tarry to return it saying that I would like to repurchase the watch after it was repaired. They agreed but said that we would have to pay for the principle plus the repair costs which I agreed to. However, I find out today that the watch has been repaired and is back up on their site with no call to me!!! First, you would think a dealer with so much experience would know how to pack a watch and would have some kind of professionalism! And second, you would think they would contact me to offer me the watch before they listed it again…

I had a great experience buying two watches at Tarrytown Jewelers. It started with a very professional interaction with Josh who sent over more in depth pictures of the watch I was interested in. Before TJ, Id been to three different jewellers around Westchester for different things (buying, resizing, polishing.)The workmanship was shoddy and they were all cranky and impolite. NOT Tarrytown Jewellers staff. This is hands down my go to from now on. I took in my 22 year old 14k gold ring that split when I closed my hand in the garage door. The staff wrote on my receipt fix and polish as good as new, and thats what they did. The work is exceptional. The staff very professional, informative and friendly.

Monica helped coordinate a repair to my great grandmother’s ring, it had some rough spots where it was wearing through and the platinum had worn away from the top. The Jeweler did a fantastic job fixing my heirloom, it was fit smoothly and my Mom said it looked like it used to with the platinum around the sapphire. It was all done at a very fair price and excellent quality, I’m so glad me friend told me about Tarrytown Jewelers, I’ll be going back.

Where do I start........This is a first for me, buying a Rolex. So, I was hesitant about this whole process despite the extensive research I did of the pricing, models, and who/where to buy a preowned, authentic Rolex from.Between Josh and Steve, they have made this experience AMAZING for me! Id leave Tarrytown Jewelers 10 stars if I could. Staff was friendly and EXTREMELY patient as it took me 2 hours to finalize my transaction. The watch I wanted wasnt functioning properly but they assured me they could service it and fix the issue. So I paid in full for the expensive watch and walked out of the shop empty handed. That could make anyone nervous!!! Three days later I receive a UPS package with the fully functional watch inside!!! They did a fantastic job fixing the watch and making sure that Im a satisfied customer. Im more than satisfied. I love this shop and Ill be back there again and again.

We have had great experiences at Tarrytown Jewelers. We are slow to make decisions and staff was patient and helpful every time we went in to look at watches. When I wondered about a different version of a particular watch (which they did not have in stock) they researched it and brought it in the store to see if I liked it. Even though we bought a watch they already had in the store - they did not mind the time and trouble they took to bring in the version I wondered about. We recently returned to start another watch search and they have been extremely helpful and happy to work with us - knowing it will be a long time to decision!

Never have I ever felt the need to leave a one star review for any business. However, I decided to share my experience shopping with Tarrytown Jewelers. I was recommended to go to them by a friend of mine. I browsed their website, and saw they had a great selection and decided to go in store and make a purchase. I went there around 3pm. Please keep in mind their store hours on their Facebook page said they would close at 5:30. I decided to make the trip and ended up getting there at 3pm. At that time, they had a few people at the store and were too busy to even say Hello and greet me as a customer. I waited for a few minutes after not being acknowledged, I decided to grab something to eat and come back to give them a second chance. I came back a little after 4pm, rang the bell and there was still a family being helped. I wasnt granted entry and the person at the front pointed to his watch and gestured that they were closed. Which clearly wasnt the case because he was assisting another customer and the hours on the Facebook page showed they would close at 5:30. Although they have a great selection of watches, they are clearly lacking in customer service and I would not recommend purchasing a watch from them.

I took a drive from NJ to see an item I admired online. Not knowing what to expect when I arrived, the store is very secure. There’s a nice selection of new and gently used as well as some antique/vintage pieces, but many, many watches! I couldn’t believe how busy it was for a late Saturday afternoon. Finally, a young lady name Jen assisted me and was very pleasant and professional while showing me what I had hoped to purchase. Although it was almost closing time, I didn’t feel rushed, but rather asked to take my time on making an important purchase. All things aside, I walked out with a beautiful piece at a fair price and a very content customer. Nowadays, it’s extremely difficult to find exceptional customer service, but Tarrytown Jewelers still carries that in their small business. Thank you again, Jen.

I have been doing business with Tarrytown Jewelers when they were in Tarrytown, its been well over 30 years. The owner Steve is a gem (pun intended) himself as well as his employees. With all that I have bought from him as well as traded he has always offered me fair prices in a very professional environment. I never worried about buying a piece from Steve because I knew he would always stand behind the product and even more importantly his word. Rest assured when dealing with Steve youre dealing with a first class guy in an industry where trust is ones main concern.

I was very disappointed with the work and the service. I had two solid 22 K gold chains that needed repair, a charm and costume earrings. I spoke to the jeweler who seemed quite knowledgeable. But ultimately the work was so poor. The link on gold chain originally came undone and was just smashed together to “repair it”. The charm was not even fixed (they forgot to do it even though I discussed each piece with the jeweler). The staff there just said, “she couldn’t do any better “. I will not be going back here. Even though the costume earrings were done as they said they would, if you have anything that requires knowledge about jewelry and craftsmanship, I would stay away from here.

All positive, even joyful I might say.I look at watches as fun but at times as investment as well, and I help friends with their own choices. Id say I transact 3-5 watches per month in average, so it is a quite strong passion...Steve (the owner), his daughter Jennifer and their Senior specialists Josh, together with the rest of the staff, are simply wonderful people. Easy to work with, flexible in discussing matters and arranging for deals and services for myself and my friends. My experiences have always been as close to flawless as it can come for objects of high value like current-line, modern or vintage watches.Steve always seem to care that the buying experience is a happy one, and that my friends and I are satisfied with our transactions. It is not uncommon for me to change my mind on some of the watches I bought, and he is always open to exchange them for others and proposing creative alternatives. Tarrytowns portfolio is not only amazing on the existing stock, but I have found them close to unbeatable in price when I want to locate a new watch from pretty much any of the key brands; their network of dealers is amazing after so many years in the business, and they can find whatever I want from their Authorized Dealers network.Also, some of the high-end Rolexs and PPs (vintage ones, I mean) are becoming more and more elusive, and risky in terms of originality, swapped parts etc etc, and therefore having a dealer who offers great choices + full recourse becomes as paramount as wanting the watch to start with.I trust the people at Tarrytown and I am sure Ill continue to use their services for a long time to come.

Worst Experience Ever!! Watch Enthusiasts who has purchased time pieces globally. Never have I entered an establishment of any kind to conduct business and was Greeted by a Rude condescending Middle aged blond. Who knows nothing about watches. Her approach was Rude and abrasive I cant help but think Race had something to do with it. After being disrespected and told I dont even want the watch. I couldnt believe that as a Human Being I would be treated in such a Manner. Steve the owner who was visible assisting other customers. Came over and tried to diffuse the situation. I informed him that his daughter wife or girlfriend lacks professionalism and is in need of a course in Etiquette. Steve could care less. Which shows exactly why I was treated with such disrespect. Nevertheless I am thankful that the Staff ran me off. This establishment gets 1 star only because ZERO STARS is not possible. Buyer Beware. I was referred to this Establisment by a friend. Who had a different experience than myself. Be aware Tarrytown Jewelers is extremely over priced. They Lack Common Courtesy and Professionalism. Most of all they have No Respect for the customer. Buyer Beware do your Research and find the watch of your dreams somewhere else where the prices are better and the service is conducted professionally. I am happy to report that all the good things I had heard among the other obsessive compulsives of the watch collecting world were true!In the past I had frequented one of the most renowned Mid- Manhattan watch dealers, and that experience had been dubious to say the least.I have found the honesty, caring, knowledgeable and considerate business like manner of the team at Tarrytown Jewelers a Breath of Fresh Air! June 20, 2017 I had inquired about a GMT Master II that Tarrytown Jewelers had on their website. I wanted a specific model with complete package with boxes and papers. Josh said they had another with boxes and papers and after a sending photos a second time that were not blurry June 26 he offered a price with payment by wire transfer and shipping within continental US. Im in Canada. I preferred to pay by Amex as it is more convenient but replied on June 27 that I would consider how to arrage the logistics of shipment.June 30 I asked if they could send it directly to me and the response was that they wanted a wire transfer given that I am located outside of the US. I replied on June 30 that I would inquire with a friend in NH if they would accept the package on my behalf.July 1 was Canada Day (150th!) and then 4th of July.On July 4 I wished them Happy Independence Day and I mentioned I would preferred Amex as I had recourse but my friend in NH had no problem accepting the package on my behalf. I did not receive a response.On July 10 I contacted Tarrytown again to confirm a detail and to inquire whether or not they still had the watch. I did not receive a response.On July 11 I contacted them again for a response from my email the day before and I received the response, Chris, was overseas. Unfortunately you should have grabbed it when we initially discussed it. I was overruled by my boss on the price of the watch, and he almost had it sold at $xx last week, so now he is stuck on the number of $xx. This was a 33% increase from the price offered to me the week before!July 12 I received the response, Chris,Discussed the matter with owner Steve.If you see from the thread below, on July 4th you wrote that with Amex you had recourse, whereas with a wire you had none, which is an understandable sentiment and certainly your prerogative and within your rights as the buyer to request that method of payment. We on the other hand as the seller, can decide what method of payment is acceptable and Amex was not a choice under the circumstances.I was out of the country and I did forward your email to Steve on the 4th. His analysis of your email and the terms to conduct business, was that you were insistent on Amex, and a wire (which was our only acceptable method of payment) was not on the table as far as you were concerned. Given the options, the deal proposed was no longer applicable or relevant, and in effect was finished.After further analysis of this model and its demand on the market, Steve concluded that the right price was in fact $xx, and that was what he wanted for the watch.Late yesterday you emailed for confirmation of the movement caliber, almost 6 Days from your last correspondence.Steve did agree however to sell the watch for $xx delivered and insured to NH for a wire.Have a Good EveningJoshJuly 11 I replied, If you had sold the watch in the meantime that would have been fine, but I am agreeing to the exact terms and price you offered to me. This is what is irking me. ... I hope you guys will live up to your reputation and stand by your word/email and do what is honorable. Id like to buy the watch but not if it leaves me with a sour taste.July 12, Steve Dubinsky, the owner of Tarrytown Jewelers replied, You had been communicating with Josh regarding our GMT Master. Had you accepted the wire terms on the day of the date of the quote we would have honored it. Since then, it has come to my attention that these are trading in the xx/xx range. As such, as a conciliatory gesture I would offer the watch to you for xx. (Now only a 25% increase!)I am disappointed that after doing some legwork to be able to accep their exact terms and conditions of payment and shipping Tarrytown Jewelers will not stand by their word and go through with the transaction. Too bad. I liked the watch.
