This is a fantastic company to work for. They make sure they match your talents to the positions. They answer questions and make sure you are comfortable with the chosen position. It give you a chance to build your skill set of just refresh your skill set if coming back into the workforce. What I though was great they did not hold my age against me. Give them a try you will not regret it.

The company has been amazing to me from the very first phone call. They were very adaptive with my training schedule. When I experienced a house fire the day before I was suppose to start, they reached out to me to make sure I was ok and to see if I wanted to delay my start date. I can reach out to them anytime and they will respond back very quickly. If you’re looking for a job placement company that sees you as a person and not a dollar sign…this is it!

I love this place. I been working for them for 2 years now and they have some of the best assignment to build your resume. They hire exceptional workers with degrees and are hands down the best in customer service for a temporary agency. I just love them. I have worked a few different staffing agencies when I was younger to build up work history. But this is by far the best one, they cater to me with transportation and they advocate for me. I dont feel like another contract, they make me happy to say I am employed by them and know sadly that I wont stay with them long because they do what they have to do to get permanent work. I have been with Abel for almost 8 years, for the past 5 years I have been a permanent employee. Abel provides great benefits! Our health insurance through Abel is much better than through the health company were actually assigned at. We also get a generous amount of PTO and the chance to earn quarterly bonuses (at least where Im assigned) and we have a great 401K through American Funds. Abel has been very good to me!

Abel Personnel was my first experience with a temporary agency. I was nervous at first but they were very courteous and welcoming. I have been with the agency for nearly 9 years now and plan on being around for a while! I am very grateful and happy for everything Abel Personnel has done for me. The agency was nice enough with plenty of resourceful people. I ended up getting laid off and they did not offer any other jobs in Maryland. I kind of felt like the recruiting staff was not very symapthetic to the people who had been laid off. Based on the fact they currently only offer one job in Maryland and are more rooted in their Harrisburg location I would have to say that I cannot really recommend them in Maryland at this time.

I came in for an interview Mid January. The Rep told me she would put out my application and resume to the agency she thought would best fit me. It is now almost a month later. And they do not have the common decency to notify me that the company does or does not want to bring me on???? I will never come to this agency again for a job opportunity. I do not appreciate my time wasted. I truly do not see how this business is still standing. And I will make sure anyone I know absolutely does not go through this temp-to-hire agency.

I applied at Abel after losing a long term job unexpectedly. I had never used an employment agency before and must admit I was skeptical. The ladies I dealt with were all very nice and I was employed within one week, despite my unusual scheduling needs. I completed that assignment after almost a year and Abel immediately went to work to place me in a new position. I ended up only being out of work for a few days and didnt even miss a pay cycle. As long as you are dependable and have a good work history, Abel will work hard to find you a position that meets your needs and skill level. Over the last couple years I have personally interacted with many members of their staff and found them all to be very pleasant and helpful.

They are thy worst Staffing Agency ever. I only got placed to 1 assignment which ended within a month because they barely trained you to do the job accurately knowing it was a state contract. The big boss Pat Davis son worked at the same assignment and he pretty was off every other week literally and always played around and is very racist. But since Pat Davis is his mother he pretty much get away with murder. NEVER again... BEWARE!!!! Stay away

HORRIBLE front desk assistant! Rude, nasty, and talks to you like you are no one! Within 3 months they got me set up with ONE interview, they suck dont waste your time!!!!!

From the 1st day that I walked into the door of Abel Personnel, I felt welcomed. Two and half years later, I still feel welcome. Abel Personnel takes out the time to look beyond your resume. When you are interviewed by one of their professional recruiters, you walk away knowing that every effort will be made to match you up with the right job. Not every job is for everybody, so it is important to make the right assessment so that Abel can better serve its clients: the employer and the applicant. I have been registered with Abel for years(2003)Camp Hill office. I get lots of email & communications from them on Facebook. I have never been called for an interview by them for any positions. Im currently a Lead in a part time position where Im@ now. They certainly have never been Abel towards this Disabled Veteran.

This agency is a scam, I worked here for 1 assignment got paid for 64/80 hours and then called back to see when I would be paid for the remainder of my worked time to which I was informed it would come within 10 days of the termination date or the next pay date. here it is the next pay date and now i dont have any check for the rest of my money. This place is really shady and not a good place to seek employment, anything is better than this place its a shame. If you would like to be paid FOR ALL OF THE TIME YOU WORK, DONT WORK HERE THEY WILL KEEP YOUR MONEY AND PLAY STUPID.
