I had a technician from this company come work on my dryer. I was charged a really ridiculous amount to change a heating coil on my dryer. I ran to the bank to get cash for the worker cos he had insisted on getting paid by cash, well by the time I returned back from the bank which took less than 15 mins. By the time I got home the dryer was already working. He just showed me that the dryer was OK and said I would be emailed a receipt which I never got. Long story short I tried using the dryer the next day and it kept on coming up with a code saying DO. I called back and the technician promised to come rectify the situation the next day which he never did. He has avoided all my calls and has my number blocked. TLC Appliance Repairs has a con man working for the company and until this con man is brought to book id assume that the whole company is fraudulent. I am writing this review to save someone out there from being duped.

We called to fix a difficult wall ac unit and surprisingly came out right away. Diagnosed the issue and ordered parts. Needed money in cash up front and was completely scammed and he kept telling us the part was back ordered and so forth And eventually stopped answering our messages. A complete waste of time and money. A complete fraud!

A joy to work with from beginning to end. Clear scheduling, check. Punctual, check. Clear explanation of work process and associated charges both before and after work is performed, check. Methodical diagnostic procedures, check. Knowledgeable technician, check. Polite, check. I cant say enough about how good TLC is. Give em a call; you wont be disappointed.

Terry and his brother were able to schedule a service for us the next day after we called about our dryer needing serviced. They were extremely prompt, professional, and friendly! They walked us through the steps of what they were doing. We will definitely use their services in the future! Amazing family owned business!

Terry and Haven responded to my call very quickly and were able to provide same-day service for my appliance repair needs. They were professional and knowledgeable and I would call them again in a heartbeat!

If I could leave 0 stars I would! They lie cheat and steal! I paid for a washer and dryer in May and never got it and he refuses to refund me the $950 I paid for it. Told me to get it from the credit card company. I think that is fraud! Plus he stole $199. Out of the debit card I used to pay for it. It took me 3 weeks of contacting him to get that back. Never again will I pay upfront. I have contacted the attorney General and sent in a claim. I hope I get justice. I am disabled so I am in dire need of the money since I now paid for 2 sets. I could not go any longer with out a washer and dryer. The laundry mat was not a option with my disability.

These guys are fantastic. After a horrible experience with another company TLC was able to fit me in and immediately diagnose my problem with my Sub Zero fridge. They got right to work, were friendly, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend.

Quick, knowledgable, inexpensive, friendly service. Terry happily came to my home during non-traditional business hours to diagnose/repair my dryer and oven. I would highly recommend this company.

HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!! THIEF. He demanded $240.00 cash upfront for stove parts. I gave it to him. Then he disappeared never answered the dozens of calls or voicemails or text messages. i never got refunded my cash. I had to purchase a new stove.I STRONGLY ADVISE YOU DONT DO BUSINESS WITH YOU TLC.

TLC was great. They came out on a Saturday to look at my washing machine. He fixed the washing machine in 30 minutes. I would recommend TLC for any and all appliance repairs.

Total sham. Never did repairs after we paid a $95 service call and $375 up front for parts (because we are out of state, but our vacation home is near Halifax.) Terry refuses to refund our money nor will he provide any documentation of his findings or a paid invoice. He won’t respond to calls or texts except to tell me to take it up with my credit card company. Avoid this business!!! He’ll answer to someone eventually.

Terry went above and beyond the call of duty not once, but numerous times with arrangements with renters, and his expertise is above all the best. I wouldnt think of using another appliance repair service. They are the best! Terry is a true expert and hero!

Terry and his son scheduled me quickly, addressed my refrigerator issue, and assisted in options to replace it. Within 2 hours I had a new fridge installed and chilling--with minimal food loss! They even hauled the old one away! Thank you guys!

Im not sure how they got positive rating. I hired them to fix my washer and the day the tech was suppose to show never called me. I called 1.5 hours later and his truck was broke down. Ok things can happen. Next day he shows up to fix a part and charged me. My washer wouldnt rinse last cycle. After he was done it didnt work at all. He told me his work was gurantee. Called and no respond. I then text and he told me he ordered another part for the machine. That part couldve been a defect. Well..... NUMEROUS calls and texts and he never got back with me. Out of a washer and money. Dont trust this place to come and do any repairs to your appliance. Now the positive side the man who came was nice. Just not reliable on his word or this company.

A couple of days later I was having the same problem again and when I called Terry to let him know he insured me that he would be back out to fix it. Well I waited on him all evening and he never showed or called. It’s now 3 days later, I have called several times and also left messages. Still no response. I do not recommend this company to anyone!

I have a bagel shop in glassboro. The owner of this company is one of a kind. Has always answered the phone no matter when I call. He has never failed to fix the problem and get me up and running. He has saved my business day on more then one occasion. Simply one of the best oven repair companies out there. Thank you Tlc!

Stay away from this place not trustworthy at all! I called TLC to fix my dryer they replaced the heating element. In 2 weeks same problem started dryer does not heat. I called them to report the issue he told me he would be there on Saturday to check it out. They never showed up I called several times and left several messages. They will not return my calls and forward my calls directly to vm. DO NOT USE this company I’m out 220.00 and have the same issue I started with! Horrible service they need to be put out of business for operating this way!!!

We paid for DW repair and parts. He did not finish the job, does not respond to calls or certified mail; refuses to refund money.

Youve been warned, stay away. My GE refrigerator wasnt cooling. I googled repairs in my area and TLC came up. Seemed like a decent reputation so I called. The next day they called me back and stopped up later in the day. After describing the problem with a little phone diagnosis, they arrived with the part in their hand. They were at my home less than 45 minutes and then I got the bill. $ 85.00 service call Plus another $ 85.00 to install the part. And the part? A simple and cheap defrost heating element that took them 10 minutes to install. In fact, the part looked pretty simple and cheap so after they left I googled the part number for a retail price. Turns out the part is available several places for under $ 20.00 dollars. Their cost to me? $ 149.00. So to summarize, I hired the Harner Brothers (Family ran a used appliance store I bought from 30 years ago in West Fairview - the parents were decent people) to fix my Frig, they were here less than 45 minutes, charged me $ 170.00 total in labor and $ 149.00 for a cheap part that cost less than $ 20 bucks. Grand total $ 319.00 plus tax. Very dishonest and very disappointed they would whack someone that needed a repair. Never again nor would I call anyone with the same name as its more than likely the same people. Experienced and can do the job? Yes. Will rip you off if they feel they can get away with it? Absolutely.

Terry was amazing, he brought tears to my eyes from happiness, Im from Brooklyn with no family out here and he made me feel apart of his, My washer and dryer are amazing and he set it up perfectly, I advise everyone to deal with him instead of second rate appliances stores, Thank you Terry

HIGHLY RECOMMEND TLC!! On Saturday I called TLC and explained about a frustrating dishwasher issue I was having. Terry was terrific. He said he could arrive the next day (sunday). He gave me a time frame and just as promised , called me as he was headed over. Trust me I had done my research and was interested in seeing if he could help me spearhead this problem as I was so incredibly frustrated. He was honest, his service, communication and knowledge were right on target! The service charge was very reasonable and he assured me if I had any more problems to call again and he would guarantee his work for 30 days. I will most definitely be using TLC for my appliance repairs. It is very difficult to find ANYONE who wants to work on them much less have the skillset and personal service such as Terry!

TLC Appliance Repairs sold me a stacked washer dryer combo unit for a good price. Been almost a year - still runs great!

Supposed to show up on a Saturday and was a no show. Coordinated for a follow up appointment the next day and another no show and no call.

I called for service on my samsung fridge and the servicd i received from this company was the best experience i ever had very knowledgable and repair was done same day highly recommended
