Jennifer B. is the best sales associate! Ive been going to this Lowes for the last 6 months for house projects and their customer service had been declining and falling well below Home Depots. However, during my visit today, I needed some plumbing material and I was helped by Jennifer B. She not only answered all my questions but also helped me find all the PVC connections for my project; along with helping multiple other customers. She was super friendly and knowledgeable about her job; she is the reason Im giving this a 5 star & not 3. Lowes is most definitely lucky to have her!

Boxes were cheap and well made. Same with other packing items. Made returning extras easy.

I want to 5 star this place but I cant. More often than not you cant navigate the aisles because they are loaded with unpacked stock... and so many things are not in the right spot. Its hard to find help. Usually we know where things are better than the employees. The garden center is a joke. This year there were more dead plants than live ones, such a shame. The Lowes at Gratiot and 15 is worth the extra 10 minute drive.

I rated this Lowes and every Lowes that Ive been into the lowest rating I can give them. They hired youngsters off the street that do not know what theyre doing. I went into one one day actually several of them and got to run around because the employee is supervisors did not know what they were doing. I got sent back and forth through the store five times before I found what I was looking for and by the time I found what I was looking for it was the wrong thing I give up on Lowes and will never shop there again and I recommend people go to home Depot not Lowes. I do not work at home Depot I buy a lot of home improvement stuff there and they have great prices better prices than Lowes us

Stay away from this location!The customer service has been getting worse here the last 3 times Ive been here. Each time there was not 1 shopping cart available. I had to go back out to the parking lot and find my own.The last 2 times I had associates who absolutely refused to help me look for items I couldnt find, they just walk away. This time the associate I approached started yelling at me that it was down a certain isle. I told him I had already checked and it wasnt there. He yelled louder and stomped down the isle only to find out I was right. The he yelled that it was obviously bought out and stomped away.

I bought a Craftsman riding mower online on July 20.The order was fulfilled through this store. I finally received the mower on August 2nd. Mower didnt last a week before the lawn deck engagement belt snapped in two on August 8th. After having a rude conversation with an associate trying to say I didnt have a warranty (I did) they then told me to bring in the defective lawn mower to their store. That wasnt an option. They then transferred me to customer service who told me they didnt have time for this before hanging up on me. 12 calls to customer service call center to get the store to comply, they finally agreed to exchange the mower. They picked up the defective lawnmower and lo and behold they didnt have another in stock. I called the store, actually spoke to someone who told me they would look at nearby stores and call me back. That was on Monday. I called the store today and was hung up on again. Back to calling customer service. A simple exchange of a defective lawnmower should not be this complicated.

Great experience found everything I needed, they were friendly and helpful plus very affordable and open early.

Lowes is great for all your household upgrades the only thing some of the workers are barely no help. I suggest you do your research before you arrive and verify if the store have an item before going.

The stores need serious help, not enough workers, some are lazy, some are doing the job of 4 people, I placed an order online and arrived at the store early so I decided to do some shopping. The order was canceled for no reason and I had to run around picking my things out again. The items were in stock no reason for my order to get canceled. I felt so bad for the hard working employees that really were giving it 100%

So today I went to Lowes to buy some moving boxes and other storage bins. The event started off with no carts in front of store for customers, they were scattered all over the parking lot. I walked in, looked around for one then had to go back outside to grab one from the lot. Ok, not a huge issue... After I located the items I needed and loaded them on a cart my next obvious step was to go pay however, with a wider load it was impossible to navigate through an isle because they have stacks of stuff piled up all over or stock sitting on the floor or in shopping carts waiting to be put away (its about 5pm now) in nearly ever isle. To top off my wonderful experience, I need to hit the restroom and everything is filthy. Not like a, we missed a shift or maybe even an entire day, it looks like they missed the month of cleaning the mens restroom. Im not sure a brush or cleaning chemical has touched this restroom in a long while. I actually felt more dirty after washing my hands in there. Gross 🤢

OMG... Why is Lowes turning out to be my go to hardware shop? Didnt see it coming. Always FULLY stocked and the staff is soo extra nice. Keep up the good work. And to the other two guys, step yall game up.

I purchased a dishwasher. Being a special order and the pandemic the delivery would be 3 months. After receiving a delivery date, it was left on the dock and going to be a couple of days till the next truck. Next delivery day scheduled came and went. Called in to ask what was up. Was informed it would be another 4 months. Cant confirm what happened to the first one, but have a good idea.

The woman who assisted me with my online purchase was so professional, courteous and helpful Ill continue to shop at the Harper Woods Lowes.

Everything we needed was in stock and delivery of some items much faster than had been expected!

Unfortunately had an extremely poor experience here regarding curbside pickup where it took an hour and a half for the person in charge to bring my order out. I was told several times that it would be just a few more minutes. When the order was finally brought out I was told that they couldnt find. Some of the items that I had paid for. Will not be coming back to this particular store in the future.

Lowes curbside pickup service is absolutely awful. I spent an entire hour waiting for my order, being ignored on the phone line multiple times and waiting at least 15 minutes after I finally got a hold of someone in the store.On another visit, the garden center charged me twice for a tree. I immediately showed the cashier my receipt, but they said that they were not able to refund the money. I had to wait in the main customer service line for almost half an hour to get my credit.

Its always a good experience and very satisfying to take a trip there. I just love all of the latest tools and whatever else you are looking for.

Everything was in order & easy to find ,& there was enough staff around to help you ,& a staff member Matthew went the extra mile to help put items in the car & waited to help put the seats down for us, Great Job Lowes & young Matthew.

Overall Lowes is a good place to go for household appliances, hardware, gardening tools, and landscaping tools. The reason I rate it at 4 stars is that some items arent labeled properly and is confusing at times.

Me and my husband wanted to buy either a refrigerator or deep freezer and decided to get a refrigerator and we could not find not one sales representative in the store and The cashier had to call for one on the PA system twice we waited for about 15 minutes and no one never showed up to help us purchase the refrigerator so we up walking out

This past Thursday, I was in Lowes Eastland location to purchase a kitchen cabinet and I found what I needed.A staff member from the floor was very friendly and helpful.The cashier in the appliance department was also very friendly and helpful.The delivery service is excellent, and very friendly.I today, (Saturday)I went back to Lowes to purchase a microwave oven.The person that helped me, was very friendly and helpful. I, had it delivered to my house.The delivery men were very friendly and pleasant.I will be a loyal customer to Lowes Eastland location.

Nice clean store, had what I was looking for.

A word to management, now I am usually a fan of Lowes over the competition and my store of choice is the Madison Heights location. However, I visited this location with a business partner of mine, who had paid for a few preordered items. So at the time that we arrived it was around or a little after 8:00 p.m. and some of the pieces were oversized so we inquired about their pickup truck for rental in order to move the oversized items. JUSTIN the manager said that it was to late to rent the vehicle. Ok, thats fine and every business has their procedures. So now heres where it gets interesting, so at that point we ask JUSTIN to provide us with assistance in order to figure some other way to move the items. He was rude, unhelpful, menacing and intimidating, I questioned him on why he wouldnt provide us with a measurable amount of assistance as our request was not outline and the store was not about to close. Instead he gathered up his troops to be intimidating, he pointed me out to their undercover security, for reasons unknown and then he had two additional coworkers come over to the area where we were packing up or supplies. Since they were not assisting us load the items, nor did they offer assistance, the men gathering around the doorway was merely a way to be intimidating and menacing. The three of them stood around in a gang like fashion creating a half circle. The encounter was so terrible and threatening that I even called the manager of your Madison Heights store (Mike) to let him know what I was experiencing. This location is the absolute worse and I would suggest that your manager JUSTIN takes courses in anger management and customer service as his current tactics I am sure will lead to an assault lawsuit filled against your organization.

I kept asking her the same question differently it was always a different answer so I did not purchase the measuring service. Get more training PLEASE! I was so confused. My thoughts were if this is the way my first encounter started I was fearful my entire encounter would be one of the same. No way.

Very unorganized and messy store. Stuff is everywhere on the floor and/or out of reach. Customer service was lacking. Had an issue with pricing where several products were misplaced and priced wrong. If you could avoid this location do it, you’ll thank me later.

Cutomer service was truly piss poor...employees were engaged in personal conversations throughout the store...not one may I help you or are you finding what you need. I asked an employee where I could find a particular item and she stated the dept. but not the isle number. I had to ask where it was...I like Lowes but this morning was the worse encounter of poor service Id seen. I was in customer service for almost 30years with a worldwide communications corp. and the lack of professionalism, courtesy and self-respect was appalling...these are extreme chaotic times and people are looking for employment so be thankful/appreciative for what you have by acting accordingly...

Ive shopped them all, from hardware stores to lumber stores, this one is the cleanest, friendliest, best organized, and well stocked. This is one of those places where you say . . . HERE, take my money :-)

Nice staff, went in to find a toilet kit and after asking someone they pointed us to isle 16 in five seconds - overall very personal staff and just what I was looking for.

Stock didn’t match online inventory or aisle locations. Asked an employee where an item was that I was looking for that I showed them from the lowes website. They didn’t seem to want to help locate it and sent me to an aisle that wasn’t even close to what I was looking for.

For a Sunday mid May more than 2 registers needed to be open inside.. pleanty of employees walking around..code 3 would have been nice.🤦‍♂️

I went here yesterday and needed help a couple of times. And while the employees were helpful, both of them wore their masks below their noses while assisting me. I was very uncomfortable and had to back up considerably away from them. The least they could have done was pull their masks up over their noses while helping a customer. And no, I shouldnt have to ask. It clearly states at the entrance that masks are required, and they even offer their customers one if they dont have one. I expected the staff to at least follow their own rules for customers.

Horrible....kelly...and the new girl at the register was rude....I can remember 17yrs ago when a person went inside of home depot or lowes the services was excellent soon as walked in the door they were asking can I help you find anything... customer service is not like it used to be... there was a man there today he looked as if he was in his late sixties white man with blue eyes I was carrying two cans of paint and two flashlights and he asked me well where is your buggy I said well when I first came in there wasnt any he turned around he said hold on let me get you a buggy hes in his late 60s...filled the with enthusiastic .....and I run into 3 other workers half his age... and the looks on their faces please dont ask me for help what do you want the girl that was in training she tells me... oh I cant help you because Im in training... so young lady if you happen to read this when you working for a business and if someone is asking for something that you dont have a clue of.. the proper answer would be I dont know but Ill get someone that can help you.... and Kelly if youre reading this when someone ask you where are the lanterns for the flashlight and your response very nasty in aisle 17 where it says lights.... in which very well that may be the Isle but thats not where they were they were hidden kind of to the left... but guess what the older man with the blue eyes his name was John I believe he outdone the three of you idiots.... Im only going to give it a five-star because John was there for me to recover the ignorance of 3 people

Went early in the morning and wasnt crowded at all. The cashier Bobbi was real personable.

Had to call the store while in the store for help in the appliances no one was in the department for 15 minutes after that things went smooth in and out i knew what i wanted i just had to wait on someone to get it for me

Swear to god everytime I come here I have problems. Nothing is ever in the aisle their website claims their products are at and then whenever I ask for help I might as well just turn aroubd and ask my todler where the product Im looking for is located.

This store has improved over the summer it would have been a 1 star but when you can find a store associates and for the most part they are friendly not always helpful but friendly., except for the cashiers they are 9 times out of 10 rude so its a gamble if you get good or rude service. Other Lowes store I have been to have much better staff. But they are improving.

I love Lowes, however, their phone contact system is below par. It used to be one of the best. Try calling Home Depot garden center. In 20 seconds your connected. Lowes you have to go through two sets of prompts and about a minute of wasted time. .....If you get through on the first try!!!
