I had an appointment with Bryaan S. I arrived early and was taken back almost right away. She’s so friendly and nice. She was very great to come to. I had a great conversation with her about everything. It was very clean and she always made sure my nails were the way I wanted. I left with not only the best nails Iv had but also a great experience and a new nail tech!

Brazilian and underarm wax was done by Jenna M and it’s soo smooth and perfect, and will definitely become a regular thing. Can’t remember who did my legs, but I was kinda disappointed when I got home and realized my legs felt like I had shaved 2 days ago and not soft like my underarms were. I didn’t notice before I left because they had aloe on after the wax. I’ve never had my legs waxed, so maybe this is normal, but I was a little disappointed.

Tiffany H did the most amazing massage I have ever had! She had the perfect touch from light to deep to find the areas I needed most attended to. She is using her God given gifts in the most beautiful way. I will be coming regularly. The spa was clean, comfortable warm bed, soft music and the aroma were all delightful. All of my senses were heightened to make my experience one to remember!

Love this place. Clean, relaxing, and most importantly awesome staff. Jenna is seriously the sweetest. 2 hours flew by with ease. Everyone at the receptionist desk were very welcoming. The waiting room is closed right now. Personally, I think this is great for multiple reasons. 1, being the receptionist can hear better when answering calls or helping clients check in and out. There is nothing wrong with waiting outside for your appointment, not to mention regardless of pandemic or not people have germs and they dont all need to be cramped inside. I had 2 services today and both were perfect. The lash lift and tint was so relaxing and the results are unreal. So happy I did this. As always my pedicure was amazing. The staff here are always wonderful, respectful and exactly who I want to go to time and time again. If your looking for the most perfect place for all your beauty needs, persona is it.

First of all I want you to know my massage therapist Abraham is excellent and has been helping me once a week for quite a while and because of improvements I started coming every 2 weeks. The receptionist area has never been friendly or even thanked me for my business. Your company extends a $10 credit that can be used on my next visit within 2 weeks. Once I forgot my paper and was refused to be given the credit. The second time I came in with a photo shot of my most recent issued credit and I was refused again. I asked if they would have accepted a photocopy of my last receipt. I was told yes so I asked to send it to the business email and they said they cant do that. Two receptionists argued with me that they have been ripped off and it is the business policy. Basically I was being told I fell into that group that is trying to rip off your business. They should be able to look up my last visit and see if I am eligible to receive a $10 credit. I left 2 messages for the owner with absolutely no return call or offer to resolve the situation. I suppose you have enough business and you dont really value me as a customer. I was originally referred to you by one of your regular customers. I am a business owner too. I understand the value of delivering legendary service. Good news travels fast. Bad news travels faster.

When you look for services the first thing that you want to do is look into reviews, and not just the good ones but the negatives, you want to know what type of issues customers had an how employees / owner handles them, I just awful to see the type of responses in this business, zero polite and not willing to help out customers, we all had have bad experiences but most of the time people dont write a reviews, If there is a bad review you have to think that the customer must had a really bad experience in order to take time to publish it, as you can tell Im not a customer and after to read some responses Im not planning to be!, hope this change a little your mind in the way you answer to bad reviews, just an advise!***I’m adding a few thing to my review after the response from whoever is in charge of it...-“we have a 5 start services all day every day, your loss!”Honey make the math, YOU lost a client AND money, I lost nothing, there is plenty places out there that offer same services, plus you get more bad reviews due to the lack professionalism from you, how old are you 13?So disappointed and you just prove my point, Thank you!

Awful awful staff. So rude! You can see by the other reviews how they simply say ‘we hope you find another salon that better suits your needs’. Seriously?? Instead of trying to keep your business they are basically saying don’t come back and do not acknowledge or care about your concerns and definitely do not work on Customer Relations as the staff continues to be beyond rude.They say their waiting room is closed because ‘their staff likes it that way’?? Ha!! How ridiculous is that!!Never again!

My friend called and booked three appointments for our group. Persona was able to schedule us within an hour & a half of each other. When we arrived the receptionist was not welcoming and told us that the waiting room was closed (We doubted this was a state-mandated Covid policy… but not sure). The receptionist told two of us to wait in our cars- even though we booked appointments together and wanted to catch up. When were persistent, she asked a manager and they let us sit in the pedicure area and chat.My friend’s $50 pedicure chipped within an hour, even though she let it dry for 40 minutes! She went back in the evening to get it fixed, they made her wait (employee was painting her own nails) & charged friend $2 to fix it…. ? Something about we didn’t report the issue within 4 hours.The three of us had been to this place in 2018 & had a good experience but we were really disappointed in the customer service today. (Review excludes Abraham and Emily- they were GREAT)

Ive been to Persona twice now: once for a facial and once for waxing. Both times the service was great- highly recommend Emily B for a facial and Jenna for waxing. They were wonderful! The place itself doesnt have a great first-impression appearance. My main issue is with the front of house manager, Cherie (?). Shes rude and not at all welcoming. I dread having to deal with her to get to these great therapists that Id like to rebook with.Response to Owner: To be factual, Jenna did not call to check on my service. She did not ask once over the phone about my service. She called to ask me to reconsider my original 3 star review, which was given because I liked the services BUT had a big issue with the attitude I received from management- both in the space and over the phone. Apparently my opinion of how I was treated was incorrect. You are right, Breezy checked me in for my second appointment but she was 1 of 2 individuals at the desk and NOT the one with the attitude and unwelcoming demeanor. A client experience reaches outside the treatment rooms and includes booking the appointment, checking out and everything in between. I find it appalling that you call people that did not leave 5 star reviews and ask them to change it. It discredits every 5 star review on here. You say you back your employees up 100% but having zero consideration for client retention severely impacts your employees book of business and therefore their livelihood. Dont worry, I have found several other local and WONDERFUL companies that better suit my needs so will not be back. As a veteran in the field that Persona is in, I encourage you to put your ego aside, listen to the feedback (both positive and constructive) that clients provide and try to learn and grow from it instead of dismiss and try to discredit it. Youre only hurting your business and your employees future.

I have been relying on Monica’s services for 15 years now. No one does it better than her no matter what services you choose. She has done full body massages, corrective and preventative facials, and pedicures with paraffin dip for me. Each service is relaxing and done with the utmost care. She loves what she does and it shows in the quality of the job she does. I have gone to transient nail places and the person providing the service rushes and is aggressive with your feet to get you out quickly. Monica takes her time, treats you gently and does the perfect job.

All employees were highly professional and pleasant to spend the time with. The finished product was also just as I imagined it. Thanks!

I have had my nails done for 15 years and never have they looked so horrible! Nails were breaking and falling off within 7 days! Paid way to much to have horrible looking nails on for a few days before they started breaking and coming off! They did take them off for me which was very nice of them considering they have a no refund policy! Lesson learned! Never again spending $70 for nails! I was never offered to have them redone. I would of gladly had them redone. I was told I can get coupons or have them taken off. That was it. I even asked for them to just be painted and that was a no. I never once asked for my money back just to have my nails done so they looked decent.

Yesterday was my first wax in a LONG time. Being a mom of 2 young kids, I often dont bother to treat myself, but decided to splurge on a Brazilian, underarm, and leg wax with Emily as an early birthday gift to myself.Emily took me back to the room and she instantly put me at ease. She was easy to talk to and calmed my nerves. We chatted the whole time and I felt like Id known her for years.The wax was one of the most gentle ones Id ever experienced. Emily explained everything she was doing so I wasnt surprised by anything. And the waxing went WAY faster than I was expecting! Emily is an extremely talented lady!!Ill definitely be back again and again! Thank you, Emily, for making my day as easy as a wax day could ever be!

I find it funny how when this business get called out, they proceed to make up lies and excuses instead of actually acknowledging the problem. just read through the reviews, when someone has a bad experience here, persona makes up lies and says it’s “the customers fault”.. seriously people?! this place is full of unprofessional and immature workers who should absolutely not work in customer service!! do not waste your money here! if you are dissatisfied with your service they will make up excuses and blame you instead of taking accountability. this place is awful. i would give negative stars if i could.

I have had wonderful massages there. I was a little disappointed in the jacuzzi session I had for the first time. The photo used on website is very deceiving. Not very big. It pretty much a large bathtub with jets. The water did not get very hot, more like warm and I had it on the highest temperature. Definitely not worth $30 per person.

This used to be a professional and well run salon. Not any more. I was not called for my scheduled appointment until 25 minutes after my appointment time. Needless to say, I left. My time is too valuable to waste waiting for a scheduled appointment at what has become a third rate salon. Sad.

I got the no chip manicure and they chipped the next day. It seemed like they were rushing and so they were sloppily done. It’s ridiculous the amount of money you pay there and the majority of staff is rude and dismissive.

My daughter booked manicures and pedicures for her wedding months in advance for a Friday (her wedding was that Sunday) and asked if each person could be done at the same time. She was assured that we would. We were not!Upon arrival they told her one bridesmaid that they didn’t have time to do her manicure! That someone had called out.The polish on the maid of honor’s nails that it would not dry. She did hit her nail and instead of taking off the polish and redoing it, they dabbed at it which just made it worse!!!! They were so tacky that she asked for the polish to be removed and they still charged her.When we all walked outside, that’s when we all started noticing problems! You could see through my color and one finger still had my old polish on the cuticle.Here is the worst!!!! The bride had several fingers where parts of her nail were not even painted and the polish was not smooth on another two. The next day we had to glue her gel nails down on two fingers!!! Her wedding was the next day and her nails were a mess. The day after her wedding, 3 gel nails fell off while driving to her honeymoon!!We did not have the time to go back in with all the problems because we had another appointment to get to. So I phoned when we got home and spoke with a manager and was told that I had signed a form and they would not give me back a refund (she was actually rude) I then asked to speak to the owner, that was on a Friday, I have called several times since then and I have still not spoken to the owner!!! NO ONE has called me back even after I was told that she would call me back. I just don’t understand how a business charges for a service that they do not provide!!!!

I requested a deep tissue/ sports massage. The masseuse assigned to me was very petite with small hands. And only used her hands for the massage. She was very unconfident and admitted she wasn’t trained in deep tissue. Saying she needed to learn new techniques.I left feeling extremely unsatisfied. I called and told them that I was unhappy with my experience.They asked if I would like to “leave a message” for the masseuse, and I said No explaining that the masseuse and I already spoke about the experience. They said they would call me back and instead had the masseuse call me. We had an uncomfortable conversation restating the same issues she and I discussed earlier.I was unhappy with this and was hoping for a sort of credit towards another massage. So I went elsewhere.

Their prices are way too high! They charged $60.00 for getting nails done for a first time! I only had acrylic nails put on, no designs or anything else! They also would only take cash and I was never told that when I called! They made me leave a credit card when I was finished getting nails done and had to go and get cash to pay them! I was never told I had to pay cash! Found them to not be friendly at all!

This was my second time at Persona, my first experience with Julianne K was incredible! I still highly recommend her, I felt listened to and heard with my concerns for postpartum hair at the time. Unfortunately, she was booked up until March, and I needed my hair colored before going out of town next week, so I decided to go with a different person.I explained to them that my hair holds onto red and since I was going for a dark natural brown with a peeka-boo of a violet cool tone, I felt like we should avoid red coloring. Somehow, I ended up looking like Ronald McDonald which is a look that would not even have been appropriate for work. I appreciate how the stylist heard me and worked with me to darken and cool down the red, although it was a bit frustrating given the warning I gave about my hair beforehand. I do understand that all dye and all hair react differently so I didn’t feel it was too crazy of a situation and intended on tipping well for the 4+ hours I was there getting my hair done.However, the listed price for the service I got was $115, and I understand some fluctuation, but I did expect some sort of discount given that despite the correct my hair was still not what I expected it to be. At checkout I was charged $130 dollars, plus a 4% fee for using a debit card. I didn’t necessarily have an issue with the fee, but more so that the cost was more than advertised and there was no compensation for the dissatisfaction with the service performed. When I questioned it, I was met with a rude woman who had no interest in keeping me as a client of their salon. Their prerogative was the money and not the client.I do not have any hard feelings with the stylist, as I said, hair dye can be tricky and I understand that - but given that I am going to need the color corrected further to have a more natural, work appropriate look, I find that their management did not handle customer dissatisfaction appropriately.I will not be returning.

Discovered Persona today when another massage place canceled our couples massage. Persona had an opening and fit us right in. The place is a hidden gem in Hanover. Its huge inside, super clean and organized. The staff are super friendly. A special thanks to Abraham and Katie who massaged all of our aches away. We are looking forward to returning to try out more services, they have a lot to offer.

I got a spray tan from Persona a few weeks ago and I definitely was not disappointed! The staff is so friendly and welcoming, and were happy to answer any questions I had. My spray tan lasted a full week and I can’t wait to go back soon for my next one! Highly recommend Persona Day Spalon to make you feel and look your best!

Highly recommended! I walked into Persona for my first spray tan not knowing what to expect, and I walked out happy as could be! Not only was the staff friendly, helpful, and welcoming, the facility was clean, modern, and following all COVID safety guidelines. Couldnt be happier with how things turned out and I will be back for more services.

Got the dip manicure that chipped DAYS later. Had to go back in and get two nails fixed. A day later, another 2 nails chipped. Their website advertises that the dip polish will last up to four weeks..mine didn’t even last 1 week and I paid over $40! I’ve had dip done before at other places and it has never ever chipped the way this did.Our service providers were wonderful, but management is TERRIBLE. Rude. Never apologizes for any wrongs. I didn’t want anything free or a handout, all I wanted was an acknowledgement and apology for wasting my money and instead the management (who wouldn’t ever put their name) turned it around to be my fault and made a bunch of excuses. So disappointed. I will never return here.

Late in posting but ....Had my nails done for my wedding and they were exactly what I wanted. Also, wanted some extra color for a May wedding and was nervous about the spray tan but it turned out perfect - not orange or anything. They work with you to give you the depth of color you want. Very pleased!

I had an amazing massage yesterday! I definitely recommend, the entire staff was so friendly and upbeat. Jen was my massage therapist, she was wonderful. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

Jenna was able to get me in last minute for a waxing appointment. The spa was a bit difficult to find for my first time being there, but that is the ONLY negative I have. The staff was incredibly friendly, the room was very clean, and Jenna was absolutely FANTASTIC. If you’re going there for any type of waxing I would highly recommend asking for her.

The service is always great. They offer a wide variety of services. I think some over their services are a little over priced and you can find a better deal at some other spa. All in all its a nice place to pamper yourself and have a relaxing time.

Ive always loved Persona for haircuts, but recently I also had an amazing pedicure experience. Kayleigh L was very kind, talented, and easy to talk to. She helped me pick out the perfect color and did a great job fixing up my crusty feet. As I got up to leave, I smudged one of my toes. She came back and knelt on the floor the re-paint the toe for me and literally blew on it so each layer would dry faster. I was there for a pedicure for my wedding, and it was an incredibly kind thing of her to do to fix my fumbling mistake. I would definitely recommend her for a pedicure!

I just found them tonight. I like my hair short, but not buzz military cut. Jess who cut my hair did an outstanding job. My regular barber (Charlie) retired and Ive tried other places for my haircut. They were all really friendly and it was nice to carry on a conversation while she cut my hair. I guess I found a home where I can get a hair or two cut. :)

Very disappointing experience. I had a facial. It was supposed to be a special treat but it wasnt a good experience. I felt like an inconvenience. The girls were unfriendly borderline rude.Go somewhere that knows what theyre doing and cares about their customers.

I dont indulge myself to a spa experience often, so when I do, I expect a lot. Persona delivers with a friendly, courteous, and skilled staff. I especially like the convenient hours and that I can often get appointments the same day as I tend to decide to treat myself on a whim. I also like that there is a wide range of services available included infrared sauna sessions.

Having just left Persona Day Spalon, following another wonderful massage with Monica, I am shocked to see the review written by Pretty Woman. I have been coming to Persona Day Spalon for many years and have received several services including pedicures, waxings, massages, facials, etc., etc. All of my experiences have been delightful and the prices are the best of any place Ive been for spa treatment. The environment is appropriate for each of the services I have received. The staff are friendly and make it a fun place to go and unwind while getting pampered. As consumers of services, it is up to us to let people know what we are needing (not everyone wants a quiet cosmetologist), they cant read our minds. It is unfortunate your services werent up to par, did you do anything about it at the time? Did you ask for a quiet environment? Did you ask to speak to the manager? Did you ask for a refund? No, instead you list the staff members you were unsatisfied with by name on the website. They are all doing their best and even the most seasoned clinicians make mistakes. These ladies are trying to make their way in their careers. To list their names is cruel and spiteful. If you cant handle it face to face, its your own fault. Its simple, you dont like a place, you dont go back. You may be Miss Pretty, but your actions sure dont show that.

I stand corrected with Persona. I was not impressed with my first facial but I made my opinion known and Miss Jessie went above and beyond to make sure I had a wonderful experience!!! I can tell this spa really cares about their customers and their loyalty to their customers is phenomenal! Cant wait to go back!

First stylist was horrible and left my wifes hair in a disaster. The manager comped a free styling for two days later however, she still did not receive the full foil highlights that we paid for and only received the partial foil highlights . The manager was excellent but we still paid for a service not received.

This place is phenomenal!!! Jessie cuts my hair on a regular basis and there is never any chopping involved. She has one of the best personalities I have ever seen! I love how personal the salon is. No tvs to distract from the wonderful conversations I have with the stylists. I will definitely be back. :-)

I had a pedicure and a massage done on 1/5. My massage was done by Monica and it was wonderful! However I did not have the same experience with my pedicure. After getting home from the salon I realized my polish was already chipping. Unfortunately the salon was closed for the day. I called in first thing monday morning and spoke with someone who took my info and said they would call back after talking to management. After not hearing anything for a few days I called back and was told there was nothing they could do for me. I could come back and get the polish fixed but it would be at my own expense. I feel as though the customer service was extremely rude. They wouldnt do anything to fix the issue. I am very unsatisfied with the whole experiance and disappointed in the lack of customer care provided.Reply to comment below : The salon closed shortly after I left that night, so my 4 hour window to have my polish fixed was while the salon was closed.... reason why I called in the very next day on monday morning.....

I love coming to Persona as a client! The staff is always friendly and i am NEVER unsatisfied with my services. Most of the staff is extremely good at what they do and for those that are fresh to the business they have the best mentors to learn and grow from. I bring my friends and family here all the time!!! My husband purchased me a swedish massage from Persona. Aaron Korycki was my licensed massage therapist. I highly recommend requesting him if you are booking a massage. He was professional and absolutely fantastic. I actually felt horrible due to the fact that I didnt have any cash on me to tip him. The massage was worth every penny!

I had two services here and they were ok. The facial was better than the massage. Prior to today, I would have given it maybe 3 stars. However, today I went to purchase skin care products and the person was so rude and unprofessional I will never go back!!! I will also be telling those I know to go somewhere else.

What started off as a horrible experience turned into a great one. My wife first walked out in tears, but after speaking to management it was quickly resolved. Julianne took a disaster and turned it into a masterpiece. She isn’t listed on the site yet, but if you’re looking for color, ask for her!!! I’ve only had one other massage and it was also here at personna which was incredible! However I came in this time because my back had gone completely stiff which actually made me call out of work. Aaron talked to me asked me all about problem areas and any places I’d like to target with this massage. We ended up doing a full body deep tissue and oh my goodness did I need it! It was the best massage I’ve ever had and I would recommend the spalon and Aaron to anyone any day!! Thank you so much and I will be returning in the future!
