Waste of time and poor service.Called and left a message with service questions. No response, so I eventually called back and asked my questions.Dropped off my turntable for wire repair. It was right before a holiday so I didnt expect it to be a quick return. Three weeks later I called and was advised that its a 6-8 week turnaround due to the amount of work they had. Understandable, but should be advised upon when dropped off.Called three more weeks later, left message, no response. Called four days later and Oh, its damaged beyond repair. For new wires?!Let me find out why.....*on hold for over five minutes because there werent any notes on the repair order*...they dont know if the wires will fit in the tone armDid they even try?!No. It would take awhile and it doesnt seem worth it.So Atlantic determined my turntable, and money, not worth it.I immediately picked it up and drove 10 minutes down the road to another shop and the shops owner/tech took a look. We talked for awhile and he told me that its likely going to take 2-3 hours of repair and quoted me an estimate, but unfortunately has a 6-8 month backlog of orders and repairs. I will wait however long it takes to work with this new shop because they clearly have the knowledge and professionalism that Atlantic does not. Ill update this review when my work is complete with the other shop and share their name, but for now know that working with Atlantic is not worth your time.

Communication is terrible. I am sure they do a good job, but I have driven a collective 10 hours to repair a piece of equipment and they did not let me know that they wouldnt fix it under warranty. Ten hours of driving... when they could have communicated... in fact I had called them the day prior and their response was we just finished it but havent had a chance to call you yet! Come on down when in fact no progress was made in 3 weeks and lead me to believe the job was finished...inexcusable

Terrible customer service, they are clearly only out to make a buck. Reader beware, best to go elsewhere for electronic service... you will pay in the end

As Im an infrequent reviewer, I felt compelled to share my great experience with others. Like everyone else, I often resort to online reviews as a starting point for any service related industry. While I was aware of a previous one star review, I felt the service, advice and friendliness I received from the folks at Atlantic, deserved a positive review of equal length.I recently came into possession of a Pioneer SX1250, that had been sitting for 20+ years. I learned that this was arguably the finest receiver they ever produced and its reflected on the current prices on ebay. I knew at at a minimum, that it would need an inspection and cleaning. I believe my first call was taken by the owner himself, he was familiar with the unit, and was more than enthusiastic about taking a look. The initial cost was $50 for the diagnostic, and that would be deducted from the total bill. Shops in Cambridge quoted 250-300 without even seeing the unit! When I dropped the unit off, I was again greeted by the same level of enthusiasm, these guys are passionate pros. This not Best Buy, they are the regional repair center for B&O. That being said, they relish the opportunity to work on vintage equipment, and could easily be woking on guidance systems, let alone a 40+ year old receiver.About a week later, I got a call, and I was waiting for the shoe to drop. Needless to say, it didnt! Rather I was informed that my unit was in great shape, it needed a thorough cleaning, a few small parts replaced and some re-soldering. Once again, upon picking the unit up,I was greeted with the same level of enthusiasm and professionalism from Mark. Not only did he walk me through the repairs, he was also kind enough to explain speaker and turntable options. Oh, by the way, my total cost was $157. While their location is not ideal(I drove 50+miles), the service and knowledge is impeccable. If you have a cherished piece that is in need of repair, at least give these guys a call before you decide, it will be well worth it!

I September 2018 I sent my old favorite B&O Beosound 4000 system to them for repair. Atlantic Systems Electronics solved everything I had hoped for; I asked they go beyond the basic repairs to replace all belts, clean, and firm up glass doors onto their brackets. They quoted for the work and I OKd it without question; I was so happy to find they could fix it. I later called and mentioned to them how Id lost the rabbit ears FM antenna set, and I hoped they might have a spare old used one to sell to me (some were selling used for $100 or much more on eBay!), they said they would check but I never heard back on that about cost or availability. To my pleasant surprise, after the unit arrived all clean and repaired I found they had INCLUDED a brand new B&O antenna set (still in the factory carton) at NO EXTRA COST! What a pleasure to find both craftsmanship and compassion. Some people are prompted to write a review only to air a complaint, I am happy to write Atlantic Systems Electronics treated me better than I thought possible. Thank you.

In the beginning of November 2017 I shipped to Mark at Atlantic Systems Electronics Bang & Olufsen Beolab 1 amplifier for repair. It took him one month to tell me that he could not fix it and asked me to pay $200 for his time otherwise he would not ship my amplifier back to me. He also said he could ship this item to Denmark for repair and then I would pay $200 plus whatever would be bill from Denmark . It took him another one month to figure out the cost of repair from Denmark . He also asked me to help him to found out the address in Denmark where to ship the amplifier .( why me?) . He could not do it himself ( he had no time ) without me calling Denmark and giving him address where to ship my amplifier .Pathetic, isn’t it? The Bang & Olufsen received the item in the beginning of January . They told Mark that he would receive amplifier back about in two three weeks. Unfortunately today is March 2 but I still haven’t received my item .The last four weeks I have been calling Mark to find out where is my amplifier and only he would say “ I don’t know “. Eventually I understood that Mark is negligent person and he would not put any effort to try to figure out what happened to my amplifier. I have been calling Denmark and speaking with several technical support representatives but nobody would try to help. They all would say “ we will investigate “ , without any apologies or regret. It took them one month to found out that they by mistake shipped my amplifier to a different dealer who is located in Toronto, Canada. Then it took another two weeks for the dealer in Canada to ship my amplifier to Atlantic Systems Electronics. Now Atlantic Systems doesn’t want to ship my amplifier to me because they and Bang & Olufsen cannot agree on repair bill . I am in between them and I still have no my item. Such an appalling and disgusting experience from both Atlantic Systems and Bang & Olufsen. People, stay away from Atlantic Systems Electronics repair center. Shame on both Atlantic Systems Electronics (Mark , service manager ) and Bang & Olufsen technical support and customer service.Update 03/16/2018:Finally, after four months of waiting I received my amplifier. Guess what !!!Amplifier doesn’t work!!!!Since then I have been calling Denmark technical support line but as soon as they hear my voice they would immediately hang up on me. Just yesterday I got email from Denmark stating that I have to deal with Atlantic Systems Electronics and B&O can’t do nothing for me. Such a shame !!!Such a horrible experience !!!
