Ryan as service technician excellent and professional. He deserves 5 stars for his service visit.However we purchased an hvac unit 1 year ago and immediately upon installation the condensation plate cracked and water leaked everywhere and the AC did not work.They came out within 2 days and repaired the unit which was great. However, they did not completely seal the unit as there was cold air leaking through the accessory panel and numerous ducts. A little more attention to detail during the installation would have prevented this by sealing the unit appropriately.So far, service calls have gone quite smoothly. However, if the initial installation was done correctly, I would not have needed to make 2 service calls already on a 1 year old unit.Customer service thus far excellent. Installation- 3 stars; customer service and technician assessments 5 stars

First homeowner and completely clueless when it comes to just about anything that requires handy ness. I decided to attempt to replace my own tstat to a more updated and more efficient. I clearly had no idea what I was doing. Sila electrical team came and saved me and did the job right and fast.

I called Sila because I was in a pinch a couple of weeks ago when my furnace failed. The tech stated the furnace had a cracked heat exchanger and needed to be replaced. I requested a proposal for a new furnace, a new A/C condenser and a new coil.The tech, last name Masone, gave me one of the most dishonest and predatory proposals of all time.Silas quote for a 60,000 BTU gas furnace, 97% AFUE, variable stage, and 3 Ton AC 19 SEER (Carrier) was... wait for it... $25,634!!! Yes I said it correctly, twenty five thousand six hundred and thirty four dollars. Well at least they gave me two other options, the second option was for a 96% AFUE, 2 stage furnace, with a 16 SEER AC for a low, low price of $18,453. The third option was a 92% AFUE POS single stage system with a 13 seer AC for $14,000. All of the other fluff written into the proposal was not asked for or needed.. Mr Masone stated that all new Sila installs come with a free I wave-R air purification system (nothing in this world is free). and a new thermostat even though I told him the Honeywell thermostat on the wall was installed this summer.Mind you.. I live in a one story ranch, 1600 square feet. Mr Masone told me that he just gets the prices from the catalog and that he gets paid hourly regardless of the proposal price... well that was indeed a lie. I talked to other HVAC companies who told me Sila techs get paid additional $ off of sales commission of new equipment and that the training at Sila is less about technical expertise and more of a salesman job (nothing against salesman).Thank god I took a friends advice and shopped around to different companies.I ended up getting a Trane 97% AFUE, 2 stage 60,000 BTU furnace, with a 2 stage 16 SEER 3 ton A/C condenser and coil installed for $8,500 from a different company. Almost 1/3rd of the price of Sila. I highly suggest you shop around if you are currently using Sila. Unprofessional, predatory, and dishonest is the nicest thing I can say about Mr. Masone and Sila in general.

I have been using Sila for heating and AC maintenance for many years. I have always found them professional and competent. Today I had a combined heating and AC tune-up. I had delayed the AC portion due to concerns about COVID. The technician (John) was terrific, took adequate precautions and left everything in great shape. I recommend them highly.

Sila is responsive and their technicians are professional. They put our ductless system in 5 years ago, and did an excellent job. One of the units was not working recently. The issue was more difficult than originally thought, so they had to come out again when it went down a couple days later. They were extremely responsive, did not charge for the second visit, and fully repaired the unit. I recommend this business for both installation and maintenance of any ductless airconditioning unit.

John was at my place to repair the heating system. We had a flood in our basement due to malfunction in a heating machine. He seemed very knowledgeable and gave us a great advice and couple of options to resolve the issue. He repaired the heating machine professionally in a timely manner. Ive had my A/C serviced by Sila for the last 3 years. Initially they helped me get my compressor replaced under warranty even though it had recently expired because I was able to show that it had been leaking coolant slowly and required replenishment every year since installation. Sila was not the original installer but they fixed the system and it has run very well since they replaced the compressor and heat exchanger 3 years ago.Although they have sent different service technicians each time they have done the annual service check up, they have all been exceptionally courteous and professional.

I woke up this morning to a clogged bathtub. The water would not go down at all, and running the sink would cause the water to back up into the tub.I called my landlord, who contacted Sila to arrange an appointment. Sila sent Erik over; Erik was a total professional. He was on time, courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable. He discussed some steps & options with my landlord and myself, explaining things every step of the way.When the first step (snaking the drain pipe) didnt work, he was able to quickly improvise and come up with a solution. He cut out and replaced a section of clogged/corroded pipe within an hour, and left everything just as he found it.It was as good of an experience that someone with a significant plumbing issue could hope for, and I highly recommend Erik and Sila to anyone who needs their plumbing repaired.

While replacing the water filter under the kitchen sink (has to be done once a year), we noticed a leak.Erik arrived promptly and fixed the problem quickly and efficiently. They also explained how the new unit worked in detail.I have used another company in the past and their service was horrible and the service personnel were difficult to deal with. A section of the main water pipe, connecting our house our citys water service, was leaking. Erik Lundquist did a great job replacing our old plumbing and alerted us about installing a pressure relief valve, because the incoming water pressure was higher than normal. Hes also a great person to chat with. Very friendly.
