Excellent service and they actually allowed my daughter and I to come in 2 minutes before closing and totally understood the urgency with school starting on Monday. The owner has exceptional customer service skills and made us feel right at home!!! He took the time to help my daughter decide on what designs she wanted, which takes her a bit to choose. Very patient the entire time. I would rate 10 stars!

The older lady was very nice. Felt like she started rushing when more customers started coming in. She asked frequently if I was okay with the nails. Pretty happy with them.It looks bumpy in picture but its not just the reflection

I’m not one to write reviews.. however I’ve gone to this nail salon since January and this week I left very unpleased. I must say Steven is amazing and I’m always happy when he does my nails but they must have hired a new guy who in which seems as if hes never painted nails before in his life. All I needed was my current nails taken off and gel polish put on and it took him an hour and a half.. not to mention me having to ask him to file my nails straight for all of them were crooked. I attached an image of yellow nails, which yellow is not my first choice but it was something different. And I really wouldn’t mind the color, it’s the white base he put on first that you can clearly see around all of my nail beds that the yellow should have covered. Not to mention all of my nails are different shades of yellow because he was too scared to put polish on the brush to paint them correctly. After an hour and a half I was already irritated so decided to just pay without saying anything and be on my way. Once I got home I got a much better look and couldn’t help but to be upset to spend my hard earned money on something that looks like my little brother did. My point is.. not everyone here is bad but this new guy should not have gotten hired. I’m sure he’s a nice guy, but this is not the profession he should be in.

I moved to SC from GA and was having a very hard time finding a good nail place to go to. Well... I found it! Tanner Nails is awesome! Steven is an amazing nail tech. He is my go to nail gut 100%. I love this place! Everyone is so welcoming and so nice! If I could give it 10 stars i would!

I went in not knowing what to expect after reading the reviews. Wait time was over an hour and a half. But well worth it Steven is amazing. Ill never go anywhere else. Well worth the wait. Any really good nail tech who has a good client base their chair is seldom empty!!! So if you dont wanna wait call and book a appt

This was first time coming to this salon and I must say that I love their customer service and they are extremely nice. Sam did my nails and she did a spectacular job! I was nervous about coming because I am so picky but they definitely met my needs for my Plain Jane self. I will definitely be coming back and plus the prices are reasonable. 🤗🤗 This is my new favorite spot

WILL NEVER RETURN AGAIN. Thought I’d give a 2nd chance. They are not worthy of it. I wanted my nails groomed & apparently she had a difficult time comprehending that. I guess because they are rushing to take care of the other 2 patrons. Been to numerous salons in other locations. This is by FAR ONE OF THE MOST HORRIBLE TIMES. Tanner nails is under new management and is AMAZING! Treat yourself and get their Milk and Honey pedicure, you will NOT regret it! I’ve gotten gel manicures from Emily, Lynn, and Cat and each time they have been FLAWLESS! I saw some bad reviews from months ago and was hesitant to give them a try, but I’ve used them consistently for a couple of months now and I won’t go anywhere else.

Vu is very attentive to his clientele when hes there but the technicians are inconsistent. Steven is excellent and pays close attention to detail. Jen is fast and also good with detail.

They tell you a 20 minute wait which is fine but when it’s an hour later and your still waiting. I thought I would try the place I will not be back. Why in the world would you not just say it’ll be over an hour wait and that way you can decide on waiting or leaving. I am sure it’s because they don’t want you to take your business someplace else and once you have sat here for so long you don’t want to leave and have to go sit someplace else and wait again.

I tried Tanner Nails for the first time and I am SO happy with them!! The girl who did my nails was friendly and got them perfect! I came Im with super thick nails from a different store and she thinned them out and got them looking SO much better!! Ill be telling everyone to give their business to Tanner Nails!

Extremely disappointed in this location. The owner had someone lay acrylic on my nails, who obviously wasn’t familiar. Then when I asked for someone more seasoned she decided to react with an attitude. I spent 3hrs at this location trying to undo the damage. Prior to leaving she had the nerve to beg for a tip. I will never return to this location.

If you are in any rush or hurry this may not be the place for you. If you are willing to wait for a good job then this place is it!! Kevin is the bomb !!my gel polish masts way more then the usual time !! Only 2 people manning the place so you gotta be willing to wait

I was scared to try this place based on the bad reviews, but I wanted to get a mani/pedi and I live down the street, and figured Id try it. Im happy that I was taken care of right away, my feet and hands look great, and I love the color. I didnt expect it to be so expensive though ($85 for BASIC pedi/mani with gel polish on my natural nails) wish they would have told me it would cost an additional $19 for the gel for both hands and feet totaling an additional $38. Of course, I shouldve paid better attention too, so not totally blaming them. The other place I go to, you get a small deal on doing both mani & pedi, and even with gel, normally get charged $60. SO, Im not 100% sure if Ill come back or go out of my way to drive to my normal place to save $25. But both the ladies that took care of me did a good job and didnt talk much to me, which I enjoy better so I can relax more :)

The absolute WORST. They gave me attitude because I told them that the water was too cold for me to soak my feet and then when the guy was polishing my toes he polished on my skin. I asked if he could please make it neater he said if you are not happy you dont have to pay and he lifted my chair and said that I could leave and not come back anymore. I told him I dont mind paying , and that I felt that Im entitled to say if Im not happy and ask for the issue to be corrected . I have never been treated so badly. Correct me if Im wrong but if you are paying for a service and its not to your satisfaction is it wrong to ask for it to be corrected? Ijs

They were great! I called towards the end of the day, and they sqeezed me in knowing that they would have to stay open a little late. They did a great job, and they never made me feel rushed! I have been to places downtown, Mount Pleasant, and James Island. Tanner Nails ranks pretty high in service if not the highest. Thank you guys!

I wouldnt go back there. You can clearly see the difference layers of polish, the lady had a few of my nails crooked and I had to have her fix them, there was alot of polish on my skin around the nails when I left, the tips are not completely covered with polish and near the cuticles are even straight lines. So completely disappointed with this place.

A friend recommended Tanner Nails to me after I was not able to get into my regular nail salon. Ive been there three times since and have had excellent mani/pedis there! I have already recommended them to my co-workers.

If I could give this place no stars I would!Hours of opening says 9:30am. So i left work a little early and arrived right at 9:30. Wanted to beat the rush so I could get back to work. I had sat in the parking lot for 15 mins until I saw someone walking around. Tried to open the door, still locked. So waited another 15 mins. Called them and no answer. Mind you the employee was just sitting there playing on their phone while i was calling the buiness number to let them know i was outside. No answer. After about 45mins I left. Completley unprofessional!!!!! 10:35am and I am still calling to talk to the owner or manager. No answer!

Horrible! Went in to just get natural nails painted using gel nail polish. The guy didnt even cover my entire nail and the polish was uneven. I had to have him redo it. He also used the drill to get the old nail polish off, which destroyed my natural nail bed. Absolutely ridiculous and will not return. Highly recommended you all go somewhere else!

I really wanted to like this place but after 3 trys I just cannot. First time I went I got a full set overlay on my natural nails. The tech was nice and seemed to be new and a little un-knowledgeable. Having to ask what to use and even putting the wrong nail polish on. But still he was pleasant to I gave him a chance. 2 days later I was back with 2 broken nails. They repaired them for free so I felt Id give them another chance. The next day after getting the two repaired another broke (due to very thing acrylic) within 2 weeks I was left on vacation with literally 3 left. I went back Monday and a lady did them (now the 3rd person who has done them) she seemed to mock me when I told her I only wanted clear bc I like a natural look. She literally did my nails in 20 min. She used super glue on my nails when she was filing them. Never seen that before. I pay and leaveOnce I get home no less then 30 min later a nail broke! Which led me to look closer at them. They were all lifting around the edges! Some had even chipped where the super glue was! Needless to say I WILL NOT BE RETURNING FOR A 4TH! I gave 2 stars because the people are actually very nice but the quality sucks. So upset to be out of $50! Which I was charged $32 the first time and $40 the second? What is that about. 2nd time was less work. I always tip which I did $10 and now feel like I was completely ripped off. It seems unless youre getting some fancy work done they dont care about the boring as the lady pretty much insinuated when I said only clear.

Get the guy when you go, the older lady doesnt know what she is doing .... They only have two people working and it takes them a century to finish one persons nails, Do NOT recommend going here.

Omg...1st time there they did great! 2nd time they did horribly! 3rd time was to fix the 2nd time and they did worse. Now I have to find some one who can fix my broken in the middle of the nail, nails! What a shame! They do great pedicures though! Just not acrylic nails

I was very displeased with services we received. I went in for a pedicure, an elderly lady did my nails it was clear to me she couldn’t see very well went I pointed out how there was dead skin clearly poking out around my nail.Then she proceeded to jab me with clippers taking a huge chunk out of skin causing my toe to bleed heavily. Then the paint job was terrible too. Needless to say I will not be going back.

The experience was horrible. I was a walk in and was seated at the pedicure station after about 10 minutes, after that the experience went downhill. The woman not only cut the side of my toe by my toenail, making it bleed, she also cut the bottoms of my feet with a rough pumice stone, which also bled. She stopped my pedicure to take a walk in that wanted their eyebrows done. When it was finally time to do the manicure after 45 minutes, she walked away from me to take a payment and left my nails for someone else to finish, making my time there over an hour and half. Overall my nails do not look terrible, but I could have done a better job myself. Do not waste your time or money here.

This place is not clean, tools were not clean at all from previous customers,table was dirty, old guy brushing my hands with the same brush that he was cleaning the table with! Horrible experience , never coming back! Waste of money, if I could -1 star I would!Not sanitary place! Very unpleasant experience!

Kevin used to be my favorite but he is way too busy...I sometimes end up waiting an hour or coming back another day-previously told me he didn’t take appointments and then today stopped my manicure to take an appointment and tried to stick me with a less skilled technician-total garbage and lack of regard for customer service, will not be going back or recommending
