The manager was extremely rude and made almost little to no contact after we applied. We were constantly having to call them to get updates. They also gave us information that was completely opposite of what was shown on their website. Ive never dealt with a more rude or unprofessinal property company.

They are very timely and responsive! Travis did a great job helping us through renting our new house and made it a painless process!

Ive had nothing but positive experiences with Greener Montana. Ive used them as the rental agent for my three rental properties over the last three years. Im always certain they do the appropriate due diligence to ensure tenants have a good rental history and can live up to the terms of the lease. Whenever there are major repairs Im consulted about the best solution and they dont bother me with minor issues. I absolutely recommend them as a rental agent.

Worst experience EVER!! All they care about is how many application fees they can collect. They never called any of our references. We were told their credit check was a soft inquiry, but its not!! We got tired of waiting on these people so we applied with Cardinal Properties, we were offered a property within 4 days. Dont waste your time here. Only positive about this place is their receptionist Mrs. Lund.

I have had excellent customer service from Greener Property Management. From help with tenant screening and managing our property while we were out of state, to Travis answering all my questions regarding the real estate market. I find this company to be knowledgeable, prompt in addressing concerns and questions, and professional in their communication. I highly recommend their business. I am extremely pleased that they are pet friendly and honest about costs of rental properties.

I was referred to Travis by another realtor when I was complaining about my experiences dealing with some of my rentals. We now have several rentals managed by Greener Montana Properties and I cannot praise Travis and Kristyn enough. He know the law and the rental environment and is easy to work with. He knows what properties should rent for and usually gets our rentals filled quickly. I no longer have headaches from my rentals. The fees he gets, in my opinion, are one of the best investments I have made for my sanity. I understand some of the negative reviews on this site, knowing that it is sometimes difficult to make tenants happy all the time. We have had bad renters that we asked Travis to get out, and although it is our decision, he has taken the heat as the bad guy and Im sure was not their favorite person. But he is willing to do so with a smile. The fact that those rentals get refilled quickly and usually for more than the last renter tells me that they were a good deal. Thank you Travis and Kristyn.

This is the first time Ive gone through a property management place to aquire a rental. That being said, I feel this company is very thorough and professional. They have been nothing but accomidating and very informative. I highly recommend them.

I just went into the office to see if they had applications. I was told that they only do online applications. I told both the woman and the man there that I tried but the website kept saying there was an error and would not submit it. The man there told me to go to the library and fill one out because they have free internet. I can guarantee it was not my internet connection.

Rented for 3 years never had an issue

I rented from Greener Montana Properties for a short time and enjoyed working with Travis and Kristen. They helped us find a place that would fit our family and was within our budget. My customer service experience with them was good. The only thing I would recommend for them to improve was contacting them on the phone. Sometimes it took a few days and a few calls to get connected. Calling them on the 888 number is the best way to contact them.

My experience with this company is less than positive. I will say heed the warning of others. Travis and his staff have no tact or professionalism. I would not rent from then nor would I recommend them to anyone looking to rent.

I really appreciate those who take time to warn others of potential hazards. My warning for everyone on this company is, please do not give the company your banking information. We filled out an application and when we got to the end of it to make our application payment it is asking for your all your bank info, your employment info, basically all your personal information that someone can hack into. Please be careful.

We used Greener Montana Properties as our property manager when we had a house in Corvallis. Travis went out of his way to ensure our property was taken care of even though we were out of state. If we had property in the Bitterroot or was looking for it, I would contact Travis first.

If you value your health don’t rent from Greener Montana! Our stove was leaking gas, snowing was blowing in through cracks in the door and roof, mice were EVERYWHERE (seriously, we killed at least one a day), and all of this with a newborn baby which they knew about. They never answered the phone or returned phone calls or emails and they were rarely in the office. We when finally found a different place to live Travis came up with everything he could to charge us at the last minute. They make it super easy to find an apartment but near impossible to leave. There are other property management companies out there that are SO much better! I can’t say this enough, DO NOT RENT FROM GREENER MONTANA PROPERTIES!!!

If I could give zero stars I would. Never have I had to deal with slumlords until renting from Greener MT Properties. They are never in the office and can never get a hold of anyone. If you have a maintenance issue forget about getting it fixed. I gave two months notice that I was moving out due to poor living conditions that I had been complaining about for 7 months. They didnt start to fix these issues until 3 days before we moved out. The properties are pretty run down and the rent is high for what you rent. Travis seems nice at first but is a jerk once you sign the lease and treats you like just a paycheck. I suggest everyone that is looking to rent in the Bitterroot area to not rent from this company.

Worst Property Management company in the entire state of Montana. Travis is a total douche, never answers his telephone, never at the office. If you have maintenance problems at you rental forget about them getting taken care of cause he is impossible to get ahold of. You can have the greatest rental history, even rented from him previously and was never late on rent and got every single penny of my deposit back, and have an amazing reputation around town for being an awesome renter and a very hard worker, and he wont rent to you because he dislikes your personality.....horrible business man. If youre a woman and you dont flirt with him, dont expect him to rent to you. Hes a total narcissistic boy who thinks hes a man. Ive heard horrible things from people that own their homes and have used him as their property manager. He will drop clients if they need anything that hes too lazy to do or if he doesnt want to rent to someone they would like to rent to. If youre looking to rent, or to rent out your home- go with Cardinal. They may be strict but at least they are fair AND they get back to you when you call.

These guys have a ton of local knowledge of the real estate market for both buyers and sellers. Ive worked with Travis Martinez and he is one of the best. Check them out!

We applied for one of their properties and the property was given to someone else and we were never contacted. It is not first come first served for the property they treat it like an interview. But here is the catch, they make every adult apply separately, so that you have to pay the application fee multiple times. We wasted our money applying and were never even told the results of our application. I had to find out through Zillow that the property was no longer available.

We have had Travis and Kristyn managing our rentals for almost 2 years, they are very professional and accommodating. They no all the laws and are fair to owners and tenants.

I was warned not to trust Travis Martinez by other real estate agents in the area. I wrongfully thought, hes a fellow veteran and wont screw me over. Wrong. The office spaces I rented from him were a wreck when we moved in. Phone lines were all over the place with holes in the walls and ceilings. He promised to fix all of this and never did. I had to repair the damage myself. Then when I had enough of his bad attitude we moved out of the offices. He is refusing to give us our deposit back. Even though the two office spaces were left in better shape than they were in when we started renting them. Even though the owner of the building told him to give us the deposit back. Martinez even admitted to knowing the law that he had four weeks from us moving out to return the deposit. He has refused to obey the law. DO NOT trust Travis Martinez and Greener Montana Properties. The only thing green they care about is the money they steal from people.

Seriously the worst. Travis was hardly ever available at the office or via phone during my time of renting. His wife Kristin, and the other young ladies who answer the phone, however, are very kind, and that is the ONLY reason why Im even giving them one star.The main issue started when I went to visit family out of state, and came back to my place having been broken into. I tried calling Travis (who was unsurprisingly unavailable). After speaking with the actual owner of the property, I sent an email to Travis regarding what had happened, and made mention I didnt feel safe being there by myself, and the owner graciously was understanding and willing to let me break my lease. I had every intention of seeing if Travis could get me into another rental that wasnt so remote, but instead, Travis had the nerve to tell me I made up the burglary. Umm theres a police report, so youre an idiot, Travis. He also tried to tell me there was a section in my lease that required me to pay for the full term I had signed, even if someone else took over my lease. I actually come from commercial property management in Seattle, and wrote leases for major companies to be reviewed by lawyers and sent out to both parties. There was absolutely nothing regarding that in the lease agreement I signed. Travis is a crook. Period. He was doing nothing by trying to get double payment. I spoke again personally with the owner and showed her the emails that Travis and I exchanged. She told me he had already lied to her once, and that was the last straw. She fired him from managing her property, and I was able to move out and get my full deposit back without any further issues.

Travis and his staff are easy to work with and attentive to the needs of both tenants and property owners.

I hooked up with Travis Martinez years ago when we were considering moving to Montana from Illinois. He was so helpful trying to find us just the right place long distance. Unlike other agents I have dealt with in the past, he didnt try to sell us something that was beyond our means either financially or physically. He sent me all kinds of links to enable me to follow the news and weather for the area; useful community links and even cams that gave me real time views of the area. Unfortunately, we decided that no matter how beautiful (I could never get tired of looking out my windows and seeing mountians), it was just too far away from our kids and grandkids.I highly recommend Greener Montana Properties. The people that rate this company a five star must be paid to do so.. Travis is in my opinion a liar and like others say is not to be trusted. I feel bad for anyone who uses this company has a tenet or owner. Vary unprofessional.

Maybe your experience will be different but mine has been a nightmare. I moved into a house on a property that had a different building being rented to another tenant.. After receiving a VERY high electric bill, I realized that I had been paying water for both properties. There is only one well and the pump is tied to my electric. Greener Montana offered a small sum of money and no foreseeable solution to the problem so it appears that they think its ok that I am paying for their water usage? This has created tension between us and the other tenants which is even more uncomfortable being that we are sharing the same property. Im not the kind of person who leaves negative reviews but I want to make sure that this doesnt happen again so someone else. If you are considering renting, ask a LOT of questions about the property. I would avoid Greener Montana at all costs.

Travis was a great agent! He drove with us up and down the valley looking at houses for a couple of months. He helped answer all of our questions and called other realtors to ask questions about different properties. We were first time home buyers and he helped teach us the process of buying a home. We ended up buying a very nice little foreclosure property, and had the hassle of dealing with a large corporation, but Travis was persistent with them and helped us work though the bureaucratic nonsense. He was friendly, knowledgable, and worked hard to find us our perfect first home. I would recommend him to anybody looking for property in the Bitterroot.

Think twice before entering into any agreements with this company. They show little regard for tenants and spend no time ensuring upkeep and repair of properties.Terrible experience. First issue is on me, contract length was discussed to be a 6 month term and I signed a 4 month term. Pre-move in checklist was not inspected by their agent, notable problems were cat urine smell in multiple rooms, broken windows not documented and implements in the kitchen were in disrepair. Upon report of these issues it was weeks before any response and ultimately nothing was done about the urine smell, took care of it at my own expense. If you have to engage into agreement, check everything multiple times.There was an issue with the power bill not being paid, I was made aware of this via certified letter with notice of eviction if not taken care of. After further investigation I found that the bill was being sent to their office and not being forwarded to me at the residence. This issue could have been handled with a simple phone call to inform me.Via phone conversation I asked about a contract extension for the home, Traviss response was that he would speak to the owner of the property and get back to me. He got back to me via eviction notice. When on the phone Travis attempted to belittle me and speak down to me and explained that he was a property manager so what he said goes. He showed little care that his decisions effect peoples lives. A simple phone call informing me would have been great, customer service is non-existent.The day after notice to vacate was delivered I began receiving phone calls from HVAC service companies asking permission to enter to give estimates for a system to installed in the future. GreenerMT gave out my private phone number without informing me that this would happen or asking my permission to do so.All of this from less than 4 months of tenancy? I would suggest avoiding this company if at all possible.

Travis helped me find a place for my photography studio and got me right into my requested budget. Defiantly would recommend him out to anyone looking for business location.
