We worked with this company to get extra chairs for our indoor wedding. They were very flexible and accommodating and had fair prices. We appreciated how they were able to work with our wedding date and desired set up time without charging us extra. Would definitely recommend.

Weve used this place several times now and most recently have decided to never go back. Customer service was non existent, trailer had a brake light bulb out, the wiring on the trailer was taped together terribly, and all 3 staff members we had the pleasure of communicating with were rude at best! In this day and age customer service is everything, and unfortunately for North Suburban there are many competitors out there that do it better.

Reasonable rental rates with extremely knowledgeable staff. They ensure you know how to use the equipment and their Equipment is well maintained.

Very rude employees at this rental company. I do nothing but care for equipment when I would rent here. Must be going down hill cause their equipment is getting older and break down. When we would pick up the equipment the fuel would be at half. Being the better person I would return it full and make them aware of it. They have added charges that you are not notified about. My in-laws and I rented tables/chairs for a dual graduation party on June 23. We immediately noticed there was a crack in one of the chairs. Shortly after, a guest sat in that same chair and it collapsed beneath him. We called N. Sub. and they responded with how heavy was he? WWHAT?! How rude! And, BTW, he is not heavy at all!!The next day we returned them to N. Suburban, & even though we reported the incident the day before, they wanted to charge us for the broken chair! My brother-in-law told him where to go.They had no concern of possible injury to our guest or the defective products that they rented to us! Luckily we did get our deposit back. They will never see us as a customer again, nor our many friends for future graduation parties. They have all heard our story and will go to All Seasons Rental in Lino Lakes!!!

I needed a jackhammer to break up some sinking concrete patio/sidewalk in the back yard. Last time I needed equipment I rented a heavy duty pressure washer from Home Depot so I called them again and got a quote and checked availability. I had my keys in my hand and was ready to head out the door, but I decided to make one more call.I called North Suburban Rental Center and found they had the same heavy duty equipment for a better price. Even if I used it beyond the 4-hour period and was charged for a whole day it would still be cheaper than Home Depot. I asked a couple more questions and then the guy really sold me by saying Just come on in, well take care of you.Turns out they were much closer to my house (making it easier to beat the clock for return) and not hard to find. Brian Johnson found out what I needed the equipment for and recommended a specific unit. Then he asked about something I hadnt considered: do I have a heavy duty extension cord? Well yes, I do, but it was at my father-in-laws place at the moment. Brian strongly recommended I use the proper extension cord saying the equipment just wont work correctly without it. So I rented that too for an extra $5.He wouldnt let me leave until he had explained how to change bits and operate the tool correctly. Then he helped me load in the vehicle.The project went well and I got the tool back before closing. This time it was Jeremy Falls who helped me (Brian was with another customer) and he was equally friendly and helpful. The whole experience was great and I will definitely make them my first call (and probably only call) next time I need something.

Went there to rent table, chairs and a tent. Got to the paying part and there is a Damage waiver of 8%!! I asked what does it cover as it states DOES NOT COVER DAMAGE BY WIND, SETTING UP ..).The owner says Scratches on the table and chairs. I said fine , Ill decline it. .The owner says This is NON-DECLINEABLE. He states Its kinda like your cell phone bill- theres a bunch of extra charges I said those are taxes that are mandatory. He says well, than call it a maintenance charge . I said im not going to pay for any 8% Charge that you are just making up a name for. THEN , on the back of the contract LINE 26 it states IF the customer pays the damage waiver dealer agrees to release the liabilty of the customer due to wind, fire.. So i said it does cover wind- he states that part of the contract shouldnt be there! WHAT A SCAM THIS PLACE IS RUNNING. LOVELY THEY CHARGE EVERYONE AND EXTRA 8% FOR NOTHING!!!

Employees were nice. The owner of that site was very unfriendly. Very full of himself. No such thing as customer service. In fact he was very rude to us as new customers. Also prices are higher compared to others that I have rented the same item from. I wont go back there.

Had what I needed, a walk behind concrete saw. They are loaded with all kinds of power tools including skid loaders. Prices are fair and service was good.

Just called to rent a car dolly to pull a car behind our Winnebago for the week and was put on hold and accidentally hung up on. I called back with the complete understanding that dropped calls happen, but when the next person answered the phone, I mentioned that I just called about a car dolly and kinda got hung up on, he replied OK, I guess I will have to take your word for it? I replied Oh, I was going to talk to you about a car dolly rental, but now Im going to call Broadway rental.Anytime you call a business and the first thing that happens is they question your honesty, they are almost certainly going to lose that customer for life.

Ive rented here before and never had a problem. This time the machine I rented broke down while I had it. I called in and they had a replacement part. They were unwilling to bring the part to me. I had to go back there and get the part then back to the jobsite and fix there machine. He said on the phone that they would reimburse me for my time. I lost 2 hours out of the day, and fixed there machine. The guy at the counter was unwilling to to do anything for me but charge me full price. I called and talked to owner who said that was there policy. He was arrogant and had a attitude like It was a privilege to rent from them. I was very patient with them and gave them the chance to keep me as a customer, they decided I was not worth it. Found there response rude. I will not be going back. The machine had other issues as well, they are not maintain there equipment and want to charge premium dollar. I will be using Central rental and Columbia heights rental as I have many times before without any issues.

Terrible customer service. Disrespectful owners. Rented equipment that broke down, exchanged the equipment twice, same issue. They mockingly blamed our 30 year experienced team members and refused to adjust charges on a unit we couldnt use.
