Quite honestly, they are one the reasons that keep me living where I do. Theyve always been good and met my expectations, but lately Ive noticed theyre even better than ever.

Rohan was very thorough in his assessment and took time to explain our A/C options. Jerry worked quickly to locate & schedule install. Avel and Julian installed the new unit. They were punctual, very professional, did an excellent job! They were very accommodating and kept work area clean. Very happy with their work. Would recommend them highly if you need an A/C replacement.

Gregory was dispatched to my home to diagnose my washing machine. He told me that the office would call me and let me know when the part would arrive so I could schedule a return service call to install the part. I had to call Total because I hadnt received a call for a couple days. When I finally was able to get someone on the phone they told me that the part would take 3 weeks to arrive. Since this is a completely unacceptable amount of time to wait for a common part I asked if I could purchase the part and have them install it. They said absolutely and proceeded to give me the part number. I was able to get the exact part locally in 2 days.When Gregory arrived to install the part, at 6:50pm, he had a broken mask hanging around 1 ear. I asked him if he could put his mask on and said its broken and walked into my home. He was very rude when I gave him a new mask and asked him to please put it on.Gregory was unable to install the part. He spent over an hour trying to install it. He said that it was my fault and that I must have ordered the wrong part. This was the exact part I was told to buy. He left my home and didnt offer any solution or info on how to move forward.I contacted Magic City Appliance repair to come out and fix my machine. They were able to install the part I had in less the 20 minutes. This cost me $285.00 that I should not have had to spend. The worst part of this is that I just renewed my contract with Total. I fear having to use their service in the future.

Technician came to repair my master bedroom AC that was blowing hot air. He replaced a part, did whatever he thought necessary, and told me that everything was working and it would take a few hours for the room to cool off. After two hours I checked the room and thermostat and the temperature was still registering 89 degrees. I have a temperature gun, so I first checked the temp of the air coming from a vent from one of my working units and it registered 70 degrees. I then went to check the air from the vent in the master and the temperature measured 89 degrees. I don’t think the tech ever bothered to feel the air coming from the vent before he left. Now I have to waste another day waiting for another tech to come, plus I have to sleep in another room again tonight. VERY FRUSTRATED!Edit - Today Total sent David to repair my AC (he was actually the third technician to come for the same issue). What a difference! - professional, knowledgeable, polite, a real gentleman. He finally found the issue and made the necessary repairs to get the machine up and running again.My biggest issue with Total is the 5 hour window to wait for a repairman is very inconvenient. To have to block out 5 hrs to sit at home and wait is far too long and if your appliances require parts, the parts take WAY too long to arrive.Otherwise, most, not all of the technicians are good at what they do and it’s a big strain off of my shoulders to know I can call Total if anything breaks down.

This company I highly recommend. Their service and promptness is an 11.We had a problem with a refrigerator that the insurance we bought from (another company) sent out their local people they deal with in Sept.2020They made numerous trips never fixing it, Finally the rep for the insurance company said they would call Total Appliance. Total appliance called right away sent a great guy, Boris, had the right parts ordered did a fantastic job.Called the insurance company and suggest they stick with Total Appliance in the future.

They were A MESS!! They came a couple of days after we called about our broken AC, but couldn’t inspect it because nobody bothered telling us that the AC has to be turned off so the compressor doesn’t overheat. We still had it on, because it was blowing cold, just not enough so it was 90 degrees in the house. The next day they came and said yes, it’s broken, we need a new compressor. Then another two days went by because they needed 2 people to take the compressor out. Then finally the two guys come to take it out, but realize they can’t do it because the water heater first needs to be taken out and for that they need a plumber. They could’ve figured that out on the first visit, but nobody cared enough to note that anywhere or tell us. Another 5 days go by before a plumber could be scheduled. Finally the plumber comes and takes it out. They were gonna return the next day and put a new compressor in and they do return. BUT THEY DIDN’T THINK OF BRINGING A PLUMBER BECAUSE IF THEY NEEDED A PLUMBER TO TAKE THE COMPRESSOR OUT, OF COURSE THEY WERE GOING TO NEED A PLUMBER TO PUT IT BACK IN. So it took 2 weeks because the employees don’t communicate, the office not helpful, if you have an option, gosomewhere else.

WORST SERVICE IMAGINABLE!!!! We have been subscribed to their service for several years. On many occasions they serviced several of the appliances in our home and 2 other rental properties, they either misdiagnosed the issues, or left residual damage for which we had to hire outside companies. For instance, one Tech came over to fix our garbage disposal, but broke our sink. Our sink was falling out. When we told Total, they rejected any responsibility. My husband had to fix it himself. On another occasion, our air conditioner was leaking and we were told to change the filter and clean the coils (usual recommendation). This was incorrect and we had an even larger leak following. Once again, my husband fixed it by removing a clog in one of the pipes.Most of the time we ended up spending more by hiring outside services to fix the issues that were supposedly fixed by experts at Total.Finally, we asked for a refund for the useless services rendered and we got it, except they kept the fees for a useless visit. There are more examples that I wont go into here.Basically, avoid these guys at all costs. On top of everything mentioned, they are extremely unpleasant. On top of all of this, the supervisors is very unpleasant. GOD AWFUL COMPANY!!!!!!

My landlord Has a maintenance contract with them. I have been dealing with this company more 2 years and they are the worst. They never pick up the phone, they are always late to the appointment , it take 10 to 15 days to get them to check your equipment and then, they have to order a piece and then come back. It takes a month to repair it if you are lucky. My washer mashing repair took 2 months and many hours of my life that I will never get back. So many times, they tell you they don’t carry the part anymore and need a new one. It’s ridiculous!

Scheduled a repair a week ahead of the time. They made me wait for 8 hours at home and never showed up. They do not even bother to have time for my repair very next day. Very unprofessional and the worst part of not trying to fix all their wrong doings.

My refrigerator broke and I had to dispose of most of my food. TOTAL was a lifesaver when they brought a loaner fridge and I was able to put some things my neighbor had kept for e. I would have been without food fo 6 days if not for TOTAL. I also had medication that needs to be refrigerated.

Called for routine maintenance service. Guy came out and said I need Freon and added some. Also told me I may need new coils $2000. Two days later unit was leaking water. Another maintence call. Guy cleaned unit out. Still small leak. Not sure what’s going on but 1st guy failed to clean out when he was here. Isn’t that what maintenance calls are supposed to do?

Not much more annoying than an AC that doesn’t cool. Total came out the morning after I called, with a heads up phone call as promised. Diagnosed and fixed the issue quickly (a clogged drain line). Very happy with their response time, quick diagnosis and overall good experience. Would recommend and definitely use again.

I’ve been using Total Appliance for just under four years and I’ve only needed service five times for minor repairs. Up until today, I’ve had no complaints, hence 3 stars vs. 1 star.I had a service call scheduled between 1-6PM for repair of my garbage disposal. At 5PM, I called for an estimation of the technician’s arrival. The agent I spoke with said she couldn’t contact the technician. Really?! I then received a phone call 30 minutes later from a different agent checking to make sure I was home, who said the technician would be here between 5-6 PM. The customer service phone line closes at 6 PM, so I called again at 5:55 (this is the third communication) to ask for the whereabouts of the technician. The agent contacted the technician (the agent earlier said she couldn’t contact the technician) who said the technician was running behind, but that he would be here by 6:30 PM. I could’ve gone to work and I’d like to know if Total Repair will be reimbursing me for a day’s pay (where is the laughter emoji)?It’s now 7:30PM and no one has shown up nor has anyone had the courtesy to call me. I called the emergency number and was put on hold for over 8 minutes (good thing there wasn’t a real emergency). The agent said she would forward my message to the office first thing in the morning (tomorrow is Saturday). I also left a voicemail. It wasn’t a nice voicemail.Given today’s technology, there’s no excuse for the inability to communicate with technicians and long-waiting customers. Even “Concast” keeps its customers updated as to the whereabouts/arrival time of its technicians, and, like “Concast” has done, service repair companies should narrow down their five-hour waiting window.It’s 7:40PM and the tech just showed up. Better late than never I suppose.

I don’t think they need business... maybe they are swimming in money. They told me I needed a new a/c so I decided to upgrade. First I talked to the super rude guy in charge of a/c purchases. I called to ask him where I should email the signed documents for the new a/c installation and he said, “Hurry up, I’m with a client” I was like... wooooooooow. Anyways he gave me an email but the email was wrong so I had to call back. So I call total and wait on hold for 45 minutes... then someone’s picks up the phone and hangs up. I took that as a sign and I went to a different company and got my new a/c. I will not be renewing my yearly contracts as well.

Dryer repair. It took them 3 months to get the right part and before the final repair visit the Technican couldn’t pay for his parking and never showed up. Once the manager called me I asked him to pay for his employee parking which he screwed at me “ I don’t f$$$ing pay for them” sad story short. 3 months later I still broken dryer. Hard to understand how these guys are still in business with their arrogant attitude and poor skills.

Despite the age of our system they have maintained our unit, forestalling the destiny of eventually needing to replace it. So you can imagine how important it is to me that we have a local vendor to address the service / repair issues when I get that son, my XYZ is not working!!! Im so glad we selected Total Appliance. They are friendly, responsive, and timely. Weve had a few service requirements and in each instance, Total Appliance technicians and staff were on the job, resolved the problem and left us with a great feeling of appreciation.

My landlord has a policy with Total Appliances. I’ve used them a few times, but my experience today was absolutely jaw dropping. Had a stove that needed to be fixed, which the landlord had given written confirmation to go ahead with the purchase of replacement parts. When the technician arrived he told me I had to pay for it. I was confused because the landlord had given the okay to the company and I assumed they had used his saved payment Information to purchase it. Found out they had “attempted” to get him to pay for it (he’s usually pretty responsive so I found this odd), but apparently he never did. When the technician reached out to his supervisor about it, he put him on speaker and the supervisor told him to “give the guy 5 minutes to pay for it or just leave. Forget about being nice, tell him to pay or leave in five minutes and leave his stove broken if he doesn’t want to pay”.Now, given this was all a misunderstanding snd my landlord paid for it minutes after I called the company about it, I was appalled at the level of professionalism from a SUPERVISOR. So, for those who are considering to get a policy with Total Appliance, please note that after you begin to give them your money they have no interest in working with you through misunderstandings.

Phenomenal service!! I had a very old AC unit and water heater replaced. I live in a condo on the seventh floor and this was NOT an easy job. The technicians at Total know their stuff. They installed my new AC unit and water heater and replaced all the old pipes without putting me in the poor house. Pricing is very competitive and fair. Technicians were very professional, showed up on time and left my place nice and clean when they left. The office staff is extremely nice and there customer service is excellent!! I highly recommend Total appliance. I am very pleased.

I really disappointed about company. We have insurance for 6 years and never bothered them exept replacement of disposale few years ago. I called the company with the complain for my faucets. They are old, rusty, and chipping. Its not safe to leave a child there, its messy to have it, and on top of it two of them are leaking. I made a service call and the specialist said to change them ASAP. I bought faucets and I made an appointment. Two other guys came and said its working and water is running, so it doesnt need to be replaced. Also they said, if you want I will change it for $125 extra. Really? So why do I pay insurance then? Even after I agree to pay, they said to make another appointment. Very poor quality of the company, I dont recommend them and their insurance. It does not worth it. I am posting pictures of my actual faucets which doesnt need to be replaced in opion of the company for you to see.

😃I have had a great experience with Total Air services! This company went well above and beyond what I expected in friendliness, service and installation. Amehed, Julio, and George, were willing to answer all of my questions and were honest and up front about their service. Watching them install an New air conditioner and allowed me to see the pride they take in their work and in making sure it is done right. My Little Secret Is, I use to work for 3 other ACs companies in the Past, so I know I can trust Total Air HVAC with any future maintenance and repair of my AC. 👍

The plumber was able to replace an under the sink water filter that had been there for years (years before I moved in). He had to do alot to then install the new filter. Because he didnt give up I am now able to use my ice maker and filtered water.

Of all the appliance service contracts on the market I think total Appliance is the best. I have tried several others and been disappointed. I find that the cost of the service contract pays for itself. And I especially like that there is no standard copay. There are of course terms and conditions such as within the first 60 days of a contract there maybe hey cost. But that is reasonable. Of all of the service technicians I have dealt with have been excellent. Polite, professional, informative, and occasionally personable :-)

Needed the shower facet repaired. After 4 appointments and 3 weeks I was advised they could not get a part from a local plumber since the “Didn’t have an account at the local plumbing store that stocked the part.Poor service. I would not recommend.

This company was supposed to repair the pipes which are leaking and flooding our unit at 4311 SW 160 Avenue, Miramar , Florida. Yesterday was the 3rd time they came out, and still nothing was done. First time the guy had no clue what he was doing, came out to do who knows what and left. Second time came without a ladder, and nothing was done again. Yesterday the guy needed some parts, none of the first two guys told the 3rd one what parts are needed. In the meantime the pipes remain leaking, and our unit us being affected. It can not be occupied unit this is resolved, which now looks like will be another few weeks. They are telling us now they can not come out until the next year, meaning we do not give a damn about your leak. we do it when we do it. Very unprofessional, irresponsible and just bad service. Will not recommend this company to anyone.

8:30-12:30 appointment called said technician was running two hours late. Not a problem things happen then when finally here calls again and says elevator not work and tech cant walk up ONE flight of stairs. Entire day taken off work and now they cant come back until NEXT week. Not professional service

I have lived in 3 apartment/condo complexes which all used service companies. Total is by far the ABSOLUTE WORST COMPANY that I have ever seen. The manager I think her name is Lillian and staff are VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. They lies for each other. They make promises the don’t keep then blame you for actually needing their services. There are 2 guys that drops off and picks up appliances. The old white guy is horrible and should never be in customer service..If it was not for the contract with my HOA Total is one company I would not use even if it was my last resort....I give them 1 star because zero is not an option.

This is, by far, the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. A simple replacement part repair on an oven has still not been addressed since they were initially called on 11/11/20 and initially visited my home on 11/17/20. Today is 1/12/21. Their technician did not install the new part, did not give a follow-up call to explain why, and the company, all the way up to management, has been dismissive and nonchalant from the beginning about making it right. They have been paid for over a month for a service they have yet to complete and balk at any request to reimburse any costs caused by nothing but their own delinquency, unresponsiveness, and unprofessionalism. As I sit here today, they will not be able to attempt the repair again until 1/23/21, and Im not holding my breath that it happens by then either. Do not contract with this company for anything, big or small.

Tony completed plumbing repairs @ my home today. He was excellent. He was able to fix a kitchen sink drip that 4 previous plumbers were unable to correct. He was prompt, through, efficient and knows his stuff! Highly recommend.

Had a new rooftop unit and air handler installed today. Excellent workmanship by the installers. Total gave us the best price on the unit compared to the 5 other prices I obtained. Jerry Norris in sales was very patient and thorough as he clarified the SEER ratings for both units. He even sent along the AHRI data sheet for the units (much appreciated). Work was done complete and cleanup was excelletn. No problem recommending them for an install. Thanks very much

THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY EVER WITH SUPPOSEDLY ONE PLUMMER THAT CAN DO THE SERVICE...THIS HAPPENED TWICE, FIRST TIME WE WERE GIVEN A SO CALLED WINDOW OF 12-6:00PM THEY DICIDED TO CALL LAST MIN FOR US TO RESCHEDULE LAST TIME WE HAD A PLUMMING ISSUE....THIS TIME WE HAD A BIGGER ISSUE AND WAS TOLD THEY HAD TO KNOCK PART OF WALL WHICH WAS $375.00 NO PROBLEM WAS PAID IN ADVANCE, WAITED ONE WEEK AGAIN THE SAME STORY A SO CALLED WINDOW OF 12-6:00PM...I CALLED THAT AFTERNOON TO COMFIRM ONLY TO HERE YES U HAVE A SUPERVISIOR COMMING TO YOU, THEN SURE ENOUGH 4:01PM COMES ONLY TO TELL US THAT THEY HAD TO RESCHEDULE OUR APPOINTMENT BECAUSE THE ONLY PLUMMER THEY HAVE TO DO THE SERVICE WAS ON THE WAY TO US AND HAD A EMERGENCY( HUH ON A FRIDAY @ 4PM) HOW CONVIENT...MY HUSBAND MISSED HALF DAY OF PAY BECAUSE OF THE INCOMPETENT COMPANY....DONT TRUST THIS COMPANY WITH THE WINDOWS OF HOURS THEY GIVE YOU, THEY WILL ONLY CALL TO DISAPPOINT...UPDATE:3/15/21HAD A NOTHER PLUMMER CAME OUT FROM ESTRELLA ON SAT 03/13/21 WITH A SPECIFIC TIME AND WAS VERY PROMPT, AND WENT FROM ONE BATHROOM TO ANOTHER COUNTING STEPS AND LONG BEHOLD IT WAS THE TOILET THAT TOTAL INSTALLED 2MONTHS AGO IT WAS BACKED UP WITH SOME STUFF THAT HAD HARDENED CAUSING THE BCK UP. 21/2 HOURS LATER ONLY THE TOILET NEEDED TO BE LIFTED AND WALA FIXED...TOTAL DIDNT EVEN TRY THAT THEY JUST WANTED TO BREAK THE WALL....AND WASNT EVEN NESSASARY...IF YOU WANT A PLUMMER CALL ESTRELLA IT SEEMS THEY KNOW WHAT THEY R DOINGDONNA LENTZ

In a matter of two days my 84 year old mother’s air conditioning and refrigerator broke. I contacted Total and they immediately sent out service people to repair both. I want to especially thank Jill who was so kind, helpful and courteous. She provided excellent customer service. I also was to thank Mr Norris who came to my moms after hours knowing my mom was diabetic and had medicine that had to be refrigerated. He was truly wonderful. I highly recommend this company.

I am a Winston Towers 100 condominium owner. Total Appliances is contracted by our building board to service our general and personal air conditioning units, as well as our plumbing and appliances. What make this company so great in my view is the service men/women whom they hire. These service people under master craftsmen directions not only have resolved all my issues throughout the time I have owned my unit, but in a profesional manner, sometimes even with a very friendly attitude. They just repaired my Air Condition unit and again from the receptionist who took my call to the two technicians (Robert and King) who performed the repair, were not only professional done, but very well coordinated.
