Our AC was not cooling, and the temperature was rising. When we purchased this new home, Air Flow had installed the AC, and we opted for the Maintenance Plan. We already had a long history with Air Flow from our previous Florida home. The repairman came out and said the coil was leaking, and would need to be replaced. In the meantime, he added a sealer and recharged the system. This was Wednesday, 7/7/21. He said with a little luck the part would be in on Friday. Thursday evening, I got a call from Air Flow, they wanted to install Friday Morning! Pablo called before he arrived this morning. He installed a new coil, recharged the system and answered a couple questions I had.It doesnt get much better than that! You live in Central Florida, you can not go without AC. The Maintenance Plan is worth its weight in gold!Air Flow Designs has always been responsive to our needs for the past 30 years!

I want to thank the Air Flow staff and its owner for the great service and consideration I received when our AC compressor shorted out. Brian Shaw, the technician, came to my home and diagnosed our problem and several days later returned with the ordered part to do the repair. He was knowledgeable, professional and thorough. This is the beginning of my second year under contract for a home heating and air-conditioning system with airflow designs. This technician, Mr. Russell, took his time and went above and beyond what is normally expected of a technician. I hitting another conditioning system runs like new and I highly recommend this company and Mr. Russell for excellent tradecraft and customer service. This preventive maintenance contract is not like other companies who have a umbrella insurance policy for your whole house and they come in, spend minimal time, and leave as soon as possible. This company takes their time to do the job correctly and professionally and they are a good value for the money. Thank you.

Joe has 35 plus years in Air Conditioning service and it showed. He is thorough and comprehensive. He takes time to educate the customer in thermostat operation. Air Flow is fortunate to have him work for them.

Received a call from Anthony to say he was enroute and would be at my house in about 20 minutes. True to his word he showed up in 20 minutes. He gave me a nice greeting and introduced himself and stated why he was here. He conducted a very thorough review of my entire HVAC system. During the visit he was informative and friendly. His customer service skills and professional knowledge are excellent. Im glad that Air Flow Designs has an employee of Anthonys caliber. Will definitely request for him when I need service or for my next maintenance check-up.

Joe, the tech, did a fine job and knew exactly what to do to correct our situation. The problem occurred earlier. I was given a window for service between 8 and 1 p.m. There was no service, no call except my own. Joe arrived about 6 p.m. I initiated all contacts and was kept informed only because of my efforts. Not a good business practice and a good way to keep customers.

My home AC was out I called them for a diagnostic and estimate, Was a fan motor and capacitor, When I asked for the price to repair them I was told by the technician they have a blanket all type pricing system, In other words a basic repair of replacement parts is gonna cost you either the $442 for very limited repairs or the $600 pricing for electrical, gold ,platinum and such, They dont charge you per repair per say they charge you a flat fee, I used to do property management for commercial restaurants, I did a lot of work with AC people, Maybe Im getting old but I used to get a written estimate for a parts and service, and that was the cost, Not this whole flat fee, everything done for one price no matter how minor the repair, Diagnostic but the Tech could not give it to me I had to request it from the office, The Tech was a very nice person and everyone I spoke to was very nice, Just letting you know that no matter how small the repair. Youre not gonna walk away with paying less than $400 with this company.

The technician, Stephen, arrived promptly when our air conditioner stopped working. He quickly diagnosed the problem, set up a stop-gap measure to keep us cool while a part was ordered and came back sooner than expected to complete the job. Very pleased with the service!

I had a downstairs AC unit fail on me last month. Ms Jules was dispatched to diagnose my problem. Air Flow Designs installed both units in 2014. (I inherited the AC units when I purchased my residence.) She was able to determine within ten minutes that a faulty part (capacitor) on the compressor.She gave me a few options with various warranty levels, etc. without any sales pressure. She was patient while I made my selection. She was finished with her repair very quickly.I was the last customer call of the day but I felt like she gave me the same courtesy and service that she gives to all of her customers. I look forward to having her for my annual maintenance -- Im signing up for their annual maintenance contract based on this first time call with AFD.I give Ms Jules and AFD each a 5 out of 5 ratings! The technician appeared to have a know it all attitude. We would ask questions and get Ive been doing this for 35 years, I know what I am doing We have learned that we need to ask questions. We were not questioning his competence, we were just asking questions. To be honest, I am not certain that the maintenance was performed or not. He says it was, but the time spent here was shorter then the time other technicians spent doing the maintenance.

Explained what he was doing to fix the problem and showing me how to clean the filter, etc. Very helpful. Very professional and nice.

I would never recommend Air Flow Design for two reasons. They never informed us to register the unit within 90 days to get our warranty extended from 5 years to 10 years. When we moved into our brand new home, there was no paperwork of any kind given to us or attached to the unit. Air Flow Designs came out to our home two weeks after we moved in to fix a problem they created, and again, never mentioned anything about registration or the 90 day deadline. We cannot register something we don’t know about and for which we have no paperwork.Secondly, since at 5.5 years we were now out of warranty (because we weren’t told about a registration for the extended 10 years) Air Flow quoted $850 to fix the AC, which was $300 higher than another company, so we chose the other company. That other company not only fixed the AC for $300 less, but they said that Air Flow should have done the registration when it was installed and that the duct work had been installed incorrectly.

Anthony was prompt in arrival. Inquired as to the reason for the service call (auxiliary continuously shown on display). He performed a few adjustments to the a/c settings and concluded the auxiliary display was due to operator error...making excessive temperature adjustments ( more than 2 degree intervals). So, Anthony made the necessary adjustments and temperature settings a mmm nd departed.However, upon returning home yesterday, the auxiliary indicator was on again and has been on display throughout the night.Therefore, the service call did not remedy the auxiliary being displayed.
