I am a Draftsman for an architectural firm and have been in the business for nearly 40 years. My background includes a professional drafting school as well as a BS degree in Engineering from NJIT. I have been a hand drafter and desired to advance my skills with computer aided drafting.I have known Leo Malkin for more than 4 years. He and I met while taking classes at Bergen Community College in the Drafting and Design program. Leo was learning the drawing software and building his skills for a chance to work in the industry. I came to realize that Leo had a prior background with previous software programs so that he seemed to progress quicker than others and was able to advance himself quite readily.Leo is a dedicated, hardworking, and innovative person and was always the go to person if there was a question regarding any of the software. He became one of the computer Lab aides and conducted himself professionally with any instruction for students or managing the equipment in the facility. The Professors in the program were always quick to point out that if they were unsure of an issue regarding the software, that Leo would be a good recourse to resolve the question.I have also had the opportunity to use Leo as a tutor to help me while studying for drafting and specifically for the BIM software. Leo found the Autodesk Revit program to be intriguing and quickly became knowledgeable in it. His skills are beneficial in learning and understanding the program.Leo has determination and is eager to be part of an organization in the BIM industry.
