I brought my 1.5 year old daughter here to get routine blood work and the staff was great. The two women who helped my daughter stay calm were so helpful. We were in and out of the office quicker than I expected.
Made my appointment for my for 2 year old to have her blood drawn online...easy enough. Checked in via the text link in my car (I was 15 min early) and I got a prompt reply within 1 or 2 minutes to come in. The woman at the front desk was friendly and efficient...even able to pull up the prescription from the pediatrician since I didnt have it on me in paper format. I was directed to the back where there were separate curtained areas for each patient, ensuring adequate privacy and distancing. The 2 women who worked together to keep my daughter calm and get her blood were professional, comforting and effective. One stick and my daughter didnt even flinch (a good hand goes a long way!) As a nurse who has seen everything from pros to amateurs drawing blood, I can confidently say I was in the presence of professionals. Keep up the good work over there. 😉
Everything was super quick and everyone was very nice. I loved the check-in kiosks! I was in an out in under 20 minutes.
Made an appointment online, got there and checked in on the email they sent. They took me inside within a minute of waiting. Very prompt service I was in and out! Friendly staff!
Hackensack location. The worst labcorp staff ever. The front desk lady was unkind. I drove all the way to this lab to do a breath test that I needed so badly before i do my surgery and they didn’t do it because i had a balance from a different lab that i never knew about and i told her i will call my insurance to ask about it and she didn’t let me do the test even tho on my paper from my doctor says it’s an emergency test that I needed to get the result for it. She wasn’t helpful at all and now heading back to my doctor office. Many people have been talking how bad their service it is but I wanted to go and experience it my self. Save your time and find another lab.
A generally unprofessional, unfriendly staff that is less than fluent in English. Masks are still required, but theres no notice on the front door or window, and they have no masks available for customers. Hard to imagine at a medical facility.
Absolutely amazing every time I go! Phenomenal also with my special needs children! I would highly recommend anyone go to this LabCorp location!
I’m here for drug screening test. I got out of the restroom a little longer, and they required me to drink more water outside, and wait for another 45 mins. It’s ridiculous to take off my mask, especially when people in the waiting area are not following social distancing.
The nurses who drew the blood are not professional at all every time I go there with my wife they cause her pain and bleeding in her arm because they don’t know how to find the right veins
This facility was absolutely amazing, the review on this place doesn’t do justice. I went on a Tuesday morning. Everyone was so nice and friendly. The office was extremely clean and beautiful. I was in and out in less than 30mins. Thank you to all the staff for making me feel comfortable
They receptionist was very rude & not professional.
Girls were very quick and efficient. No problems at all.Walked in with no appointment, was taken back within a few minutes.Been here twice with the same pleasant experience.
Made my appointment online about 2 hours before I showed up. I showed up on time and it was taken in very easily simple registration process... very helpful young ladies that are working there I was in and out relatively quickly...Now I realize I came in late morning so it was not that crowded... however they are very kind and friendly and accommodated me very well and it was a painful process...
Very slow service. Too many people come here. Crowded. Waiting time is ridiculous. Avoid at all costs.
Quick, friendly and painless experience.
Professionalism is lost in the Administrative process, speaking spanish the entire time! when checking in the staff seems to think theyre better than the people they are there to have service administered. Absolutely no eye contact, no etiquette in any aspect of the process. Im here for a drug test, this location was the closest. If I had a real medical problem and needed service, this location would be the last one Id make an appointment at.
Got called quickly after I walked in. Bloodwork took about 30 seconds and I was out 2 min after my original appointment time. Quick, easy, and professional.
This place is a mess. Nobody knows what the process is. The wait is over an hour all the time. This is my second time in a few days. First time I wait 1.5hrs. Second time 1 hour.
My early morning appointment was not only fast and efficient but the staff was exceptionally pleasant!
I cant speak for anyone else here, but I have always had a great experience when visiting this location.Secretarial staff is good, nursing staff is excellent.Oh and I am never bruised while getting my blood taken here.Yup they are great
They lost my drug test reuslt becuse of that i lost my job .
My Mom had a horrible experience here. Took 30 minutes to get a vein. Also, staff not very pleasant and helpful with patients. Go somewhere else.
First time at this location and it will definitely be my last! The reason for it is a staff member by the name Marilyn or Marleen. I made an appointment online and when I arrived I finished the express check in, signed in, and took a seat. When she called my name she told me I should of told her I had an appointment?! But keep in mind the sign in sheet asks if you have an appointment to check yes or no, then it instructs you to have a seat. She asked me for my insurance card and when she was done with it she threw it on the desk so I asked her if she was done with it she nodded her head. A simply “here’s your insurance card back” doesn’t kill you. She printed a document and told me I’m responsible to pay a set amount but my insurance pays 100% of my blood work costs and when I asked why it was like the devil himself came out of her. She started yelling at me to the point where she was red and the artery in her neck was popping out. I yelled back and told her I’m asking a simple question , i don’t understand why you think you can yell at me with such frustration. She denied her actions and then tried to explain to me the situation but at that point I cut her off because I heard enough from her mouth full a second ago. She finished processing the paperwork and threw the papers at me and said “take this and go over there”. Thankfully the phlebotomist was friendly and great but the front desk staff needs to be reprimanded. I saw her treat another patient the same way before me and the patient ended up leaving before doing blood work. Thanks for the terrible customer service and keep up the terrible work Marilyn/Marleen.
I love this place, so clean, organized love it
Its really not bad. The ladies at the window just need to explain things the way they are supposed to be explained. There were 3 men in the waiting area. The lady says sir they all look at eachother. The 1 guy says me? She says are you not ready or what?! Another lady walks in and says how long is the wait. The lady behind the window says a while... The lady leaves. If u clearly explained to the lady that depending on what test shes doing.. She would have to wait 30 minutes because thats the way the test is. Another guy was told he has to drop urine. Then gets told he has to wait 45 minutes to drop again. He was like i wasnt told. Now hes going to be late to wherever he had to go. Anyways...The wait isnt long. Its just that you dont have respectful workers who can speak proper english and know that this county especially is a very nice county. And its not jersey city. When you speak to the patients. You speak like a mediacl staff member should and with respect. They need to train these employees better. And dont treat the office as if its ur house yelling in spanish about what the one patient said. Some patients actually understand. Isnt that a HPPA violation? Thats how loud these ladies are. Fix thit laborp!
Always professional staff, wait time is ok, even without appointment. I have my blood work done in this location every 6 months due to my thyroid condition and always I’m in and out with no problem
I arrived for a drug screening and upon arriving there was a patient having difficulties with some paperwork and while she stepped to the side to make a phone call the worker at the front desk started speaking spanish and was talking rudely about her and saying how she is a stupid woman to another worker. I was extremely upset at this since the patient was older and clearly was not sure what to do and yet the worker was speaking like this in front of customers even in front of customers who clearly can understand her spanish like I did. When I went to take the test I was told by Daisy to return back in one hour since I did not pee enough so I left to get water since the water station had no cups left. I return back and was told I was not allowed to leave the building yet Daisy never told me this. I waited to speak to Daisy yet by this time it took way too long so I left to another LabCorp in teaneck ( a 13 minute drive from this LabCorp and its worth the drive). While driving I get a phone call from Daisy as she is being extremely rude explaining how I should not have left. I then tell her how she never told me I was not allowed to leave the building because if she told me that I would have obviously not have left the building. I needed this drug test done for my start of clinicals as a nursing student. She then cancels my registration and I had to contact my school to receive another registration form because Daisy does not know how to clearly explain the rules to a patient who has never had a drug testing done before. I work in customer service and I have never spoken to a customer in this disrespectful manner. I am only 20 years old and I am more professional than these workers that clearly need more training by management on how to be nice to customers and how to clearly explain the rules instead of assuming that everyone knows the rules. Please dont bother going to this rude and disrespectful LabCorp go to teaneck instead
My prospective employer sent me here for drug testing. So this place is fairly new, its been here for 3 months or so.Staff here are helpful, cordial and accommodating. Specifically Glevis, she was extremely helpful and nice.I made my drug screening appointment for 1100, but because I dropped off my wife at the bus stop earlier in the morning, I decided to stop by and get it done earlier than my scheduled appointment.I met Glevis (shes at the front desk) at 0825 and she explained that Drug Screening tests are done after 1000. I noticed coming in on their front entrance doors a sign that specifically said so, but I disregarded thinking that it was probably old and didnt apply anymore, well I was wrong lolBefore arriving at this Lab Corp I made sure I drank plenty of water so this way I can get the urge to urinate and get it done. That was a mistake, since the screening wont commence in 90 minutes.I waited while surfing through my emails, internet, etc.. By 0925 I really had the urge to urinate and I asked if I can use the bathroom. Glevis was kind enough to allow me to take the test earlier than usual because its a urine test and I had to...well..urinate badly lolDont know how it is with bloodwork but I highly recommend this place for drug screening. And to Glevis, a huge Thank You for making an exception!!
Sitting in office over 45 minutes not one person called back. Employees in back having a social event can here them all talking. Worst customer service anywhere, if you can go elsewhere the convenience is not worth it.
If you looking for waste your time and energy and redo your tests , this is the best place that you can find in NJ, They delayed website doesnt show your results , I am really upset
New signing policy is not good for older patients. If I was not with my dad he would not have been able to sign in. Person at the desk wasn’t very helpful
The worst customer service I have ever experienced who hires those people. The lady at the front is VERY RUDE!!!! SHE SHOULD BE FIRED!!!
The staff is great, they are pretty amazing actually. The problem is the location - its inside the hotel and there are NO signs for how to get there. I drove around for 30 mins, and had to ask a few people until I finally found the parking (behind the hotel building). Then I had to go up and down the stairs until I finally found something called medical something. It says LabCorp in tiny letters on a big metallic sign (so its difficult to see it) by the parking entrance. Its not mentioned anywhere else. I might go back there now that I know how to get there, but had I known it was such a nightmare finding it, I might have looked for another location.
Very nice and attentive staff, I go there every 3 to 6 month. Last time big bruise on my arm after blood test. It really hurted.
Stop coming to the apartment building nearby. How dumb are you people that cant see that an apartment building isnt this place lol. If you somehow get into the secure apartment building Ill stick a syringe in you for $25 but I cant guarantee itll be sterile. LOL.
Horrible experience! Had an appt at 1145. Did not get called in till 1250 and that was only after i went up to ask why i am waiting so long if i made an appt. Woman at front desk is a joke.
The staff is very friendly, especially nurse Campusano, she took great care of me thank you very much.
The attendants are rude and dont pay attention to you. I wasted two trips and a whole morning to be told that I needed a new prescription for the blood work. That was after I asked if the prescription II had would work and after I showed the prescription the following morning before getting in line.
People that work there just don’t seem to care or like their job. Last time I was there the girl starting complaining to me as soon as I sat down.
Girls who work there are so rude , they take millions of patients at one time. 2 hrs wait for just a drug test. Unbelievable
They are rude as all hell. The Phlebotomists have no idea what they are doing, are they even certified, and this is coming from someone who actually is. The resetioniats stammed the door in my face at 3:00 when I showed up. What kind of person runs a business like this. If I was their employer I would fire them all
If I could give this place a minus review I would! Most unhelpful and unprofessional lab Ive ever been to. Wait time is very long, the phlebotomists walk around doing nothing, they are rude and have an attitude like someone owes them something when the come to get lab work done. The one phlebotomist wrote on my official paperwork that I had my doctor sign to return to my school because her excuse was she had no other paper to write on! Never again!!!!
This place sucks. One of the worst labcorps I have been in. First you sit in a waiting room for a while, and then they call you in to just stand on a huge line to see the phlebotomists. Once you get to THE ROOM (yes that is right the only room) they cram three people in at a time to draw blood. What ever happened to HIPPA??? Avoid this Medicaid mill at all costs.
Very rude lady at front desk. Service and process are the same like any other lab Corp location.
If only I can give a zero or negative score! Please stay away from this God forsaken place, I went here to have my drug test and the lady told me that they only do drug screen at 11am because the people who are fasting and had to go first are priority. I would understand that if the clinic is filled with people, but it was only me who was there and no other patients!! They could not even accommodate me and they are all busy chit chatting!! No consideration whatsoever!!!
I have been going to the Lab Corp in Hackensack for many without any problems. But on 12/5/2015I needed blood work. I had giving Lab Corp a statement prescription from my doctor. I also was dropping off a gal 24 hour container for a urine sample. My doctors office told me that I could submit the sample when I submitted my blood work and that it was OKd on the prescription. I was admitted to the testing room where many people were occupying seats that were just family members not the patients. It was confusing who was next and the nurse there seemed to be irritated. I finally was told to sit down, and he began taking blood. I could feel his irritation but wanted to make sure he knew I had a urine sample. He gruffly told me I couldnt submit it because it wasnt on the prescription. To which I said I had just spent 24 hours making this sample and had to take a day off from work. This sample and the blood test were directly related to my upcoming visit to my kidney doctor. Dr. Tartini. He said he could not take the sample again, which is when I felt a tightness in my arm. He said he would have to throw away the sample if my doctor did not fax him by 11 am. It was Saturday when no doctor is in the office, I left the place exasperated by their incompetence. I noted when I got home, a few hours later, my arm was tight and hurt. By Wednesday my whole lower arm where he had taken the blood was totally all black and blue, I have detailed photos. There has been terrible ratings from this place and I am definitely putting this one on FaceBook!
Went there today. Told them I needed Urine taken as well and that my doctor said she ordered it. They kept saying no. After calling my doctor, they confirmed they DID order urine test and that it is in the system......I dont see how there could be a disconnect. Drove 45minutes to this location:(Beyond disappointed with LabCorp.
Parking is a mess.Staff are nice one day, and the next time, couldnt care less to help.
Do not go to this Collection Site. Parking is horrible, inside a large building . The Staff are the rudest and unprofessional group of individuals you will meet and I spoke to 5 different people to get routine blood work. And its unclean and dirty looking.
Arrived at 9:15 for a 9:30 appointment, got called in at 9:35, the staff is very friendly and courteous, it helps if you use the LabCorp express check in.
Inconvenient business hours, 2 out of the three check in kiosks are down. Staff is cold. Look elsewhere
I had a very bad experienced , she poked me on my left arm and didn’t get any blood what she did is she twisted and turned the needle like shes looking for for something and end up poking me again on my right arm , she dint even say sorry , i don’t feel going back there anymore she hurt me so badly 😥
Long waiting time for no reason
Came on my lunch break after calling asking for an appointment for a drug screening for my second job, explained that I had very limited time but the staff was very uninterested and told me other testing was a priority at the time.
Lazy lazy and lazy
Long wait
In that laboratory they have no responsibility, it is the worst laboratory that is visited in my life, I was there to claim my results and no one could give me an answer 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎 ... It is shameful to be there waiting for something to be received and there are 3 people working talking only about personal things while passers-by are waiting to be called to draw blood or simply to leave something. They would have to change all the staff and put people who really work and attend to the passengers as they should. It is shameful that they are paying him just to talk about personal things like that his daughters need a tutor for math oh that they talk about passers-by that is not professional and much less when everyone listens to their conversations that goes against Hippa.I understand they are maybe 8 hours but when there are only two passers-by waiting for 20 minutes and 3 people working, I consider that there is no respect for passers-by. If they want to be social, they would have to stay at home and let other more responsible people work there.
