We have been taking computers to Ben literally since he opened. Probably over 20-25 computers have been through his shop from my family. Called to get a repair quote on a laptop and got quoted $150 in labor, I brought it in and then he quoted me at least $300 in labor... and $175-$200 for the screen.Apparently despite many reviews of thinkpads being very easy to work on, this one is especially difficult which is reason to literally double the labor from the on the phone quote.Well I ordered the replacement screen for $99 and replaced the screen in literally 15 minutes. I have never worked on a laptop before.There was a sign inside that said Ben has retired and this new guy is committed to the same great service. Flat out not true and dishonest. Go somewhere else.

Great shop. Ive taken several work computers here for different issues over the years. They are always nice, professional and very helpful. I feel like they give it to you straight and dont overcharge.

I have previously posted a review, but it was not posted.I brought my new laptop computer(less than1yr old) to Ben’s because my son cracked my screen. I thought it would be faster to bring it to someone locally rather than the manufacturer.I called because it was taking a long time, and I was told that the wrong screen arrived, that they had to reorder it and it was being shipped overseas so it would take longer than normal.I waited, and waited… then called. They said that something had happened during repairs and they would have to get a replacement computerI waited longer…5-6 months total, then got upset and tired of waiting and filed a negative review and a complaint with the BBB.Ben responded to my BBB complaint by stating I gave him an eight yr old computer and that it had broken parts on it. (Ben’s did in fact repair my previous computer in the past, which is now eight years old, however that computer is still in my possession.) The computer they were given was less than 1yr old.I got a call a few days ago stating my computer was ready for pickup. Today I went to pick up “my” computer. I was offered an eight year old Dell laptop computer. The whole reason I got a new computer was because my eight yr old “Acer” was obsolete.I refused to take an 8 yr old obsolete Computer in exchange for my new Acer with nothing wrong but a cracked screen. Where is my Acer? This experience has been horrible and never ending.

I am so very grateful that I found Ben. A few months ago my computer went down. It was not only the switch but the motherboard. He gave me a new computer and installed Windows 10 in it for a very reasonable price. Then last week I was having trouble with my printer and he ascertained that I needed a new printer. I am not computer literate so it was great that Ben installed the printer for me, than showed me how to do a backup of my computer and my laptop and actually backed up my laptop. He also informed me I had tons of photos and it would take me hours to back it all up?? So when I came home I started to look at all my photos and found I had duplicates and triplicates of photos and I have no idea how that happened over the years but thanks to Ben, I was able to delete a whole lot so now it wont take hours to back up everything and I will have a lot more room. I will always rely on Bens Computer Outlet and recommend everybody to him. Thank you so very much Ben from this old senior gal. You are the best.Nancy

My laptop is approximately 6 years old, was full of viruses and was running slow to stop. A new hardrive and some cleanup by Bens and its running better than new. A pleasure to have this fine computer shop in our town.

Agressive owner. He was yelling at people who parked on the side of the street which isnt even private parking.

Worst experience ever. It took 4 weeks to get my sons computer fixed. When we got the computer back it had more problems then when we first left it and he refused to fix those issues and said they werent his problem.

Wow. Seriously the worst service I have ever seen. I went in to get my laptop fixed and the owner (Ben) was rude as hell. He completely ignored me, and then when he finally started talking to me was extremely disrespectful. Not only that he then wanted to charge 3x as much money as other companies.What a rip off.
