I was very happy with the haircut I got. I was a walk-in and barely had to wait 5 minutes. The barber took his time and used a straight razor around the perimeter of my hairline as well as on the back of my neck. Reasonable price of $24 with a military discount.

Had an appointment at 2 showed up at 150 and left at 254 because 4 people who came in after me as walkins went up before me. Do not recommend very upset. Haircuts look nice and wanted to try to find a new place after moving back but never again.

I went to the new location in East Lyme. I took my shy 8 year old son to get his first non mom haircut. My son took to his barber Jesus right away. Told him he gives him a 5 star rating. The place was very nice, as were the people. Ill definitely be going there again and Id recommend them to anyone looking for a great barber. Especially one that can do ethnic hair.

I had a fire experience with John Sanchez out of Groton. Had been looking for a barber for a minute after moving from Kansas. First experience at Binet was heat. I got a great cut. Everything was really clean, and I was comfortable the whole time. I booked John two weeks out for the same time immediately after leaving!

$35 and I got a hair cut, hot towel, face massage, beard trim, straight razor, and eyebrows done. You all better tip well because thats some service right there.

Best hair cut I’ve ever received

I am a simple man; a white dude in his mid-thirties whos never paid more than $8 for a haircut. My first time at Binet Cuts, I was a walk in and they happened to have time for me. I got undoubtedly the best haircut Ive ever had. My barber, Ivan, was professional and friendly. Ive never had the pleasure of leaving a barber with a haircut that didnt have to grow for a day or two before it turned into something I like, but with Binet Cuts, my hair looks just as good the next morning as it did when I walked out of the shop. I will be returning here for as long as I live in Groton and recommend it to anyone who is looking for a haircut they can be happy with from day 1.

Best cut in CT, seriously. All the barbers know what they are doing and will make you look good. I even went in once, didnt tell the barber what I wanted, and got a great cut. Probably the safest barber around right now too. Each chair has its own booth to cut down on contact, masks and sanitizer everywhere. I live 30 minutes away, and this is the only place I go to get a cut.

Decent place it got the job done. UNTIL I started noticing they started pushing my brothers hairline back yes he has a little scar on his forehead but that wasn’t cool at all. I will not be returning.

Great haircut!

My last haircut was 3.5 months ago. Since the Hair Cuttery closed throughout New England due to the ongoing crisis, I needed to find another place. I entertained the thought of going to a barber shop, since I normally get my hair cut on the shorter side. I sorted by highest rated barber shops in Groton, CT and Binet Cuts was shown in the search results. In light of recent events, I was immediately drawn by the impressive safety measures taken by Binet Cuts. Their marketing materials showcased them taking temperatures and sanitizing between patrons. Safety for all is my #1 priority and the measures taken increased my comfort level. I had my hair cut by the owner, Omar Binet, and he did an exceptional job. He took my appointment on short notice. Omar also took his time and was very patient throughout the process. I had seen men with skin fades and always wanted to give it a try. One of my close friends told me the skin fade looked modern and stylish. I would highly recommend this place.

If you don’t come here your wasting your time and money going somewhere else. Binet cuts has given amazing haircuts and customer service every time. Even with this pandemic they have adapted and better and than any other barber shop i’ve driven by. So go to Binet cuts and get yourself a great haircut, I go to Omar so please hit him up.

Everyone of these barbers are true Gentlemen. They are all clean cut Professionals, The atmosphere makes you want to get to know all of them. My barber Jensy is a excellent barber. You will also never be rushed out of the chair. I have been to barbers from New York to Boston . This is right up there with the best Ive ever been too in my life time.

I had never been to Binet before and gave them a shot. Im glad I did! I regret that I forget my barbers name (last name sounded like ayolla?) but he was friendly and meticulous. I dont think Ive had a barber perform all the little things that he did. He put in the work and I am very happy with how I look!I will definitely visit again for my next haircut.

Been looking for a great cut in the area for over 3 years since I moved here and it’s been a struggle, I tried out Binet today, explained what I wanted and got the perfect cut. I highly recommend this place to everyone. The staff is friendly and they take the time and care about getting it right. Nothing says more than pride in your work and you can tell everyone at Binet’s takes pride in what they do.

Perfect barbershop that is latino/ Puerto Rican owned and staffed with the ability to cut all hair. As a person of color (POC) I highly recommend this place to any military personnel that are tired of that NEX haircut... Military discounted rate is about $20 and no matter which barber you go to in the shop, you wont be disappointed! Easy to get to and wheelchair accessible. Very friendly and professional barbershop without the typical barbershop chatter.

Hands down, the best haircut in Groton, CT. Ive been to lots of places (lived here for 20 years) and no one has come close. The fade is the best (they use straight razors), they are friendly, the musics hot, the banter is fresh and they cater to everyone: military, LGBTQIA+, kids, the elderly, and they offer dignity, respect and a dang fine haircut for a fair price! In regards to the dignity, respect and welcome they offer, heres an example. While I was getting my haircut yesterday, there was a special needs gentleman waiting patiently for his turn and when I was done he beamed and got up to sit in what I assume is his favorite barbers chair (the man who had been cutting my hair). The barber took care of me, told the man he could get in the seat and finished our transaction while also engaging in banter with the client with Down syndrome. As I walked out, I saw the two throw each other big smiles, like they were best friends, reunited. I loved seeing that! Great place, cant recommend strongly enough. As if all that werent enough: se habla español.
