Since the end of October 2021, Ive been working with Banfield Pet Hospital of Gresham. My pets condition has become worse since hes been under Sam Schrollers care. I had to drive two hours to Banfield Pet Hospital of Gresham on September 22, 2021. I scheduled the appointment the day before, and the Banfield representative never mentioned that I would be responsible for the same treatment for my dog because of the veterinarians error on my pets care plan in October. My dog also had an allergy problem. I have a wellness plan, and after dropping off my dog, Elizabeth Thompson informed me that there would be an out-of-pocket expense that I couldnt afford. I simply inquired about payment arrangements with Elizabeth at Banfield Pet Hospital of Gresham. I was denied a payment plan when Elizabeth called her manager, Quincy Nelson. No, Banfield does not accept “LAYAWAY” plans, according to Elizabeth. I never requested a handout or a Layaway method. My pets discharge planning balance would have been around $40-$60, and these Banfield employees did not attempt to work something out with me or show any empathy for my dog. Also, I live two hours away, which the staff at Banfield Pet Hospital of Gresham were aware of, yet they neglected to remind me when my pet would be released, and then Quincy Nelson hurried me to pick up my dog from the Banfield Pet Hospital of Gresham location just thirty minutes before closing. When I did pick my dog up from the Banfield Pet Hospital of Gresham location I was given a paper RX (prescription) to take to my local pharmacy. I delivered this RX to my local pharmacy, and they were having trouble filling my dogs RX. My pharmacy contact Banfield Pet Hospital of Gresham to retrieve the MPI # for the RX and the employees withheld this information. I contacted Banfield Pet Hospital of Gresham in concern to my dogs RX. The Banfield Pet Hospital of Gresham employee was vague about what took place with my local pharmacy so instead of resolving the problem she forward my dogs RX to Walgreens which was an inconvenience. This Banfield locations personnel are unprofessional, disrespectful, and biased. #mydogdeservespropercare

Masks 😷 are required at this store . When I was there the staff did a great job of keeping everyone 6 feet apart. Staff is great very friendly and they were able to help us Find thing fast. This place sells birds 🐦 Ferrets, hamsters 🐹, mice, and other animals. They have pet clothing. Training classes for beginners and advanced classes. I took the beginner class with my dog Vixen. I will upload a video of Vixen in action.Jeremy Peirce was our classes trainer he is amazing! He answered all of the classes questions. All the dog picked up Certain Commands Pretty quickly. Commands like sit, Touch, And steyn for a very short period of time. But thats one of the things he says we just need to practice Doing in short durations 1st before we get to go longer.I would try to get Jeremy Peirce if you decided to take a training course.He encourages you Email him if you have any problems Or questions. Hes a sweet and enthusiastic guy. His dog is pretty sweet too.

We took our pup to the groomers . Kindra did an awesome job. It was our pups first time being groomed and Kindra was great wit her. Thank you Kindra.

This review is specifically for the grooming department. Lindsay and Olivia always take such good care of my dogs when I bring them in for grooming! Having good groomers that you can trust to take care of your pets is so important, and I am so thankful for this team. The entire staff is so kind and accommodating and they have no problem giving a little extra attention to my nervous pup when they do her nails. 10/10 service!

I came in with my kids to buy a few fish for them. First of all I havent seen such a poor selection ever...secondly for 15 minutes we waited...so I asked my kids to settle down..let go find someone. I couldnt find anyone now we been I. The store for 25 min and no one has asked if i needed help. Went to the register to get someone to help us get some fish. I waited for another 10 minutes and received no help at all. At this point the kids were running around. I never was able to get help from anyone, so I told my 4 and 6 year old that we needed to go. Now as I passed the register lady with 2 little guys crying that we werent going to get any fish for the aquarium we set up a week ago..she didnt even look my way. I will never go back to this store. You have lost my business. What was supposed to be a great experience for my children it turned out to be heartbreaking and a let down.

Their shelves are full and I got what I was looking for. I went with a friend but she could not find what she wanted. She ended up ordering online. Anyway. We were greeted as we walked in the door and check out was quick and friendly.

Took our Papillion/Dachshund puppy for his very first groom here. He was seen by Erica she went above and beyond making sure she understood how I wanted him to look. Also considering he was nervous she was very patient and comforting with him! She did such an amazing job with Dexter! I was very pleased on how handsome he looked and how fluffy and soft his coat was and he smelled great! You can be sure all of Dexters grooming appointments will be with Erica!!

I go here for my cat supplies. Good store but the checkout is almost always slow. Not sure why.

Good clean store. Staff was friendly, and my dog had a great time. Prices do seem a little steep but its a good place to find numerous items and brands you couldnt get from the Walmart/target/etc.

This wasnt just the best pet smart Ive ever been to. I believe as far as I can remember. Ive never experienced such heart felt... care from a group of people working ever in my life.. Id thank management but it was obviously so sincere. That in no way was it forced. So thank you as individuals.. 30 minutes from where I live. And Im tempted to only go there even though theres one 6 minutes from me. 🙃😻

We always get our pet supplies here. The store is always clean and well stocked, a nice layout with clearly labeled aisles. Sometimes waiting in line takes a minute but everyone is always super nice. I love that I can also go back and pet the kitties available for adoption.

Went in to get my son some replacement fish for his tank. Was met with good service that helped right away. Check out was fast and on our way!

Took my dog to get groomed here and we got a call that there was a small mishap, but they would not elaborate further. We get there to pick our dog up and he has a deep gash above his eye. There was visible blood and he was in pain. There is no excuse for this and I can only imagine how this all went down when he was getting groomed. They tried to act like it wasnt a big deal. Please, PLEASE take your pet elsewhere to get groomed. I would hate it if this happened to another animal. These people should not be grooming animals, period.As well, please do not buy your hamster supplies here. The cages they sell are inhumane for hamsters as they are incredibly tiny and downright dangerous. Id recommend Victoria Rachaels Youtube Channel for great hamster care tips!

The associates are friendly and helpful. I usually find what I need and they dont hassle you on returns. The only reason I gave 4 and not 5 stars is the selection of pet jackets and such are a little small for bigger dogs.

Worst customer service I have experienced in a long time. I saw 6 employees and I couldnt get any help. When I asked for help, I was told someone would be there in a few minutes. I walked around the store and saw 3 employees stocking shelves. When I asked if they could help me, I was told, thats not my area or department, I cant remember exact words. Very rude.

Only issue is their cat harnesses are one size is supposed to fit all when they have them in stock.

I picked up some petarmor plus for cats, which in the isle for $21. When i got to the register was rang up at $26.

Always helpful. Ive recently used the App to order and the staff, especially Tia, have been excellent with not only getting my order right but promptly having it ready for curbside pickup.

Its getting more and more expensive. A bath, brush, nail trim and teeth brushing with only a trim to the face and tail is $79 without tip. I cant afford it anymore! I like Petsmart, but come on!

I go here all of the time and they always are stocked with Tiki Cat food which is great for us! Workers are also nice and efficient too.

Big open and clean store. Easy to find a helpful and friendly member of the team. My first visit and could not be any happier.

Petco is a good place to find LOTS of pet supplies, but I wont buy fish from them, and here is an example of why. The last time I was there they had just received a shipment of fish. A number of tanks already had dead fish laying in them, plus quite a few of the bags of new fish (which were floating in their tanks) also contained dead fish, such as this bag of dead Tiger Barbs. I used to breed tropical fish and supply them to pet stores. I know some fish will die in fish/pet stores, but theres no excuse for letting them collect there, and theres absolutely no excuse for having so many fish die during transport.

I need prescription food for two of my pets & Petsmart is closer than our Vet, but slightly more expensive. Its a convenience vs cost ratio ..... I avoid weekends as the lines are long. Mid day, mid week... in & out!! 4 stars today as the staff was very friendly

Won’t ever spend another dollar here. This is the second very poor experience that I’ve had with this location and now I refuse to ever shop at another petsmart. The first bad experience cost me all six of the new fish I purchased because not a single one survived the transition into my freshwater aquarium, this second transaction could possibly cost me every living creature in my aquarium because the fish I just purchased from this location have introduced a bacterial infection into my aquarium. DO NOT PURCHASE LIVE PETS FROM PETSMART!! THEY ARE MOST LIKELY DISEASED. I will also be canceling my dog’s healthcare plan with Banfield because I can no longer trust anything about this place.

Velvet went in for her first check up. She wasnt sure about the shot she got but the treats after were great. Velvet loves petsmart, its like a toy store for puppies.

I took my Keeshond puppy for her first groom here. Erica was very knowledgeable, took the time to ask me specific questions about what I wanted done with my puppy, and she made me feel confident that my dog was in excellent hands. She did such an amazing job with my puppy! I added the Furminator groom at Ericas recommendation was very pleased with the results. The overall groom was 85 on a weekend for a full bath and body trim for my Keeshond, plus the Furninator. I was very pleased with the price. I will be scheduling all of my puppys groom visits with Erica specifically because she did such an amazing job! Thank you, Erica!!!!

Really nice store location with a banfield

Petsmart is the best store where I can find a wide variety of toys, food, clothes, and especially there is the hospital where I take my Teddy to the vet everything is there in one place.

Delectables Squeeze Ups. No other online retailer had them in stock in the US unless you wanted to pay with gold bars. Long drive for cat treats that they wont ship, pickup only? Why?

They have everything we need for our dog and cat. They are relatively inexpensive. The lines can be a little long, but theyre fast. People also bring their pets in with them, so you always get to see cute new puppies.

Pet Smart has lots of variety in dog and cat items. I have a guinea pig, and they are pretty thin on non food items. Lately, there is less on the shelves. Probably due to the Pandemic interruption.

Bad conditions for the pets that they keep in store, but convenient and well organized for pet care supplies.

Needed new harness and leed the associate that helped us was very knowledgeable and polite and made sure that we had everything we needed.

My son & I received excellent customer service in their fish department. They were very knowledgeable & friendly. Better selection of fish tank decor then Petco & better prices too. We like the fish selection at Petco better though.

This is our third visit to the Grooming salon. They are courteous, good with my Toby, and follow instructions well. They will fix any issues without charge. I am totally satisfied with this service.

Staff at Banfield are lovely. Great cost for vaccines and a checkup on all 3 of my cats and got setup on health insurance for them. Very reasonable!

The store itself is great, but think twice before going to the grooming salon. We have been taking our dog there for 2 years with no issues. Our regular groomer is no longer there so we tried someone new. First time with him was last month and it was ok, but my dog wasn’t even dry when they had us pick her up. Today, that same groomer didn’t remember her, and audibly made a huge irritated sigh stating “this is going to take maybe 4 hours” when checking us in. Apparently they just labeled our dog as “difficult” (this wasn’t on her account for 2 entire years, so how is this a thing so suddenly?)...We have taken her to many other grooming salons and have never gotten this feedback. It makes me worry what you are doing to my dog. If you are visibly irritated to groom someone’s dog, I have zero trust that you’re going to treat my dog right. We won’t be coming back.
