Terrible customer service -- Incompetent techs.I contracted with Solutions IT to transfer data from my old computer to a new computer. I had to return three times, yet they still were not able to transfer all the data that existed – only data up to 2017. They told me they had gotten all the data that was on the old hard drive and there was nothing more they could do. Alarmed that I had lost the last 4 years of work, I had someone else look at it. That person found data dating up to and including 2021 and were able to transfer it merely by inserting the hard drive from the old computer into another computer and copying it.When I complained to Solution IT they refused to reimburse any money to me because I took it to someone else while it was still under warrantee, even thought they had told me there was nothing more they could do.Further communication with their manager resulted in her accusing me of putting reviews on the internet under false accounts! I have not done that; do not even know how to do that. As you see, I do not hide behind fake names.These folks should be put out of business.My advice – Avoid Solutions IT!

Do not take your computer here. Very rude employees. Had my computer right in front of him, and he wouldnt even raise the lid and power it up. Said it would be $65.00 to diagnose and still may not could fix it. Huh?? I would at least power it on before I told how much it would be. Or its possible it cant be fixed.

Please do not go here for help with a MacBook. All I needed was a key replaced (which I have gotten done before at another business) and at first I was told that I would need to replace the entire keyboard. Knowing this was not true at all, I showed the gentleman how the key needed to be replaced and asked if they had ever done this before. They told me that they have replaced quite a few laptop keys in the past and it was the same as with a MacBook - WRONG! For anyone that should know Macs - the newer ones use a scissor-switch design with their keys, most others use a butterfly design. When I showed the gentlemen working HOW to replace my key, one went in the back to get a price and the other proceed to press every key on my keyboard with one of my programs still up?!?. A notepad or word doc could have easily been used for this test (that I already told him that I did). The other gentleman came back and said the price would be about $113. My Masters degree is in Information Security, not math, but this would mean that a $4.99 key would cost $108.01 to put on, not including taxes. Since I have replaced keys before, I told him thank you anyway and that I would just order the key and put it on. He said that it was a very complicated process - oh boy. If this is complicated for them - PLEASE do not trust them with any of your computer needs.I would recommend for future customers, please know what you are talking about before trying to give a customer incorrect information. If you dont know, just say you dont know. I have actually replaced quite a few keys but am on vacation this week and was just seeing if they had the hinge in.Just to add - this was repaired by me for $5.38. The complicated process takes a total of maybe 2 minutes if you have Mac repair tools.

These guys arent professional in the least. I highly doubt they know what they are doing without using youtube.

After our first experience with SolutionsIT a few weeks ago, both my laptop and I were very unhappy, and it reflected in my 1-star review. Since then, the company made every effort to make things right, without any cost to me, and reversed the unsatisfactory procedure performed and reinstalled a lost program, even updating it to a more recent version. They also were able to fix the two issues that were my reason to visit the store originally. I even noticed that a few unexpected improvements were made to help run the computer more efficiently.My laptop is happy, and I am very satisfied with the end result.Thank you for your time and effort.

Super awesome experience! I upgraded my laptop from 8gbs to 16gbs of RAM with SolutionsIT, and the process was mega easy, and super fast after they ordered the part and it came in. The wait time for the part was relatively fast as well. They also replaced the grip tape on the bottom of my laptop as a courtesy just to help me out. I would recommend them for your cpu needs! My laptop has been running smoothly and I have no complaints.

I have an computer tht wouldnt come on at all, and when I put the charger in it still didnt come on .... I had gotten the laptop from office Depot in Anderson but I went to both Anderson and greenwood and they wasnt no help and they failed to realize I spent $920 on the computer and I wasnt going to go and buy a new one ...... So I had tryed SolutionsIT, even tho it was my frist time being there the people was very nice, the price was reasonable, and they gotten my laptop turned on.
