I called after I had a delayed flight to inform them that I would not be able to check in until later that night/early morning. Front desk man didn’t mention a curfew for the evening. Was denied service immediately by Hannah who would not hear me out at all. Rudest customer service encounter I’ve ever experienced. Mentioned there was no manager on-site. Not one apology. Told me to call the third party and that she was going to hang up. Situation could’ve been handled way smoother from the get go. Ended up driving the 7 hours back home after a long day of traveling.

Very upset with the staff, in particular Hannah, from this location. My sister and I who are not from Denver had a delayed flight coming into Denver, and had let the hotel know ahead of time that we would be late checking in, as it would be in early morning hours and we wanted to make sure that we could still stay. The staff member who took the call assured us it would be, and that all we would need to do is call the front desk as soon as we got there. When we called later, we were greeted by Hannah on the phone. Hannah immediately disregarded what we told her, and that she couldnt help, even though just hours before, we were assured that we would have a place to stay after a long day of travel. Hannah told us on the phone that we would have had to have been there by 3:00 AM if we wanted to check in, (it was now 4:00 AM) which would not have been a problem if we had been told that information earlier on when we called. After not helping us at all (like normal customer service employees do), we were given no other choice but to drive the 7 hours back home, in the middle of the morning. As someone who travels often, I have NEVER been treated this way.

A nice, clean hotel. It felt like I was staying in a hotel at a higher price point. The night staff was friendly and helpful. They are going for a swanky lobby feel, and it works, but I also never found the elevator. My room was on the corner of the building right next to a staircase, so I didn’t really need it, but the one time I went looking for it in the lobby it was not obvious where it was and I simply went back to my staircase.

My wife and I love the location! Saved money by not staying in Denver. Was easier to rent a car and just drive the 20 mins into Denver. Clean facilities, kind/knowledgeable staff and decent breakfast selection with granola bars, yogurt, muffins and cereal. Convenient with target close by so you don’t have to pay premium fees for basic stuff like water and snacks. All in all if we visit Denver again we will definitely be staying here again!!!

My rating is actually 4.5 stars. I really enjoyed my stay here. Staff were very nice and accommodating (they allowed my daughter and I to check in early and stay in the lobby for a couple hours so we wouldn’t have to wait at the train station all day) the building was clean, the room was clean, etc. My only complaint was the ridiculous prices of the food/snack options. The most egregious example was that I paid almost $9 for a frozen Jimmy Dean Sausage, Egg, and Cheese sandwich.

I had a reservation with this hotel and I was tryin to change my reservation dates.Other than the fact that I had to call for three days and kept on hold for ours to be able to speak to someone. The person who finally picked up my phone call said that she didnt find my name and hanged up on me before she even try to help me to find or listen to what I have to say. Knowing that i have a reservation confirmation and another colleague of her found it just a day before my call with her. And when i asked for someone else to help me or to speak to someone in the management she said no one is available. She was so unprofessional and so unhelpful and I ended up cancelling with them because I wondered how she or another staff member will treat us in person if thats how it was on the phone

Room layout was untraditional - I wasnt facing the bed as I walked in. Not a problem at all but wasnt expecting that. Bed was comfortable, linens clean, bathroom clean. Didnt care for the minty shampoo and conditioner but loved the body wash and lotion. Wished Id had a microwave to heat up my leftovers but not a real issue. Had coffee in room, coffee supplies more than adequate. Loved the later checkout so I could sleep in. No big deal to me breakfast not included but could see where others might find it a negative. The bed was a beautyrest mattress that was comfy, but the beds should get rotated as you could tell where people like sitting the most. There were blood stains on the floor in our room. The bath tub looked like it was clean but didnt feel like it standing in there. I wouldnt stay here for more than one night in the future. Weve stayed at courtyard Marriotts in a few different states and have always had a good experience. This time was just okay at best. The first night we were there the police knocked on our door at 1am and staff didnt know they had visited anyone in the hotel. The first morning we found that the room didnt have any hot water, we were told maintenance would fix it while we were out, and the second morning we still didnt have any hot water (we were out late, but I could have checked, thats on me). There were dead moths in the room and a few live ones in the curtains, and after we checked out, I tried to reach out directly to give them feedback and wasnt able to get ahold of anyone. The actual courtyard was beautiful, and the rooms on that floor actually open into it. There is also a Starbucks in the lobby. After a busy, stressful week of work, this hotel provided a place of calm as I began my busy holiday break. I needed a place to sleep (friends houses were full or had sick kids) and use as a base with easy access to friends in various parts of Denver. What I found at the Courtyard DTC was a haven where I could follow up on late-breaking work issues, catch up on sleep, easily access a few stores to look for things I needed to pick up, as well as meet the various friends.

I liked the overall experience at the hotel. Staff was very courteous and helpful. The only issue I had was that my room (111) had sediment flowing out of the water lines which affected the shower and sink water. I got there 9/27/18 around 9:45pm and wanted to take a shower to relax. But I couldnt do to this inconvenience. I told the front desk person and she said that they knew of the issue and had fixed it but recommended I let the water run. She also said if this continued to be an issue to let her know so that I could be assigned to another room. By that point, I was so exhausted after driving 6 hrs and had gotten most of my stuff out in the room; I didnt feel like re-packing all my things and going to another room. I decided to let the water run for a good 10 mins, but it still flowed as a light brown color. This issue didnt completely disappear until my 3rd night staying there. I think a better way to have done it wouldve been if the front desk person let me know of the plumbing issue immediately once I got there, had me test the water and offer me another room if the sediment was still present. This wouldve made a big difference.
