Ive been interested in HEMA (Historic European Martial Arts) for a while, and decided to give the Guild a try. Several months later, the guild has accelerated my skills and understanding of sword fighting. The preceptors (teachers) of the Guild have demonstrated both a mastery of different fighting systems as well as proper teaching pedagogy/techniques.They have experience in both Fiore dei Liberi (Italian longsword) and Lichtenauer (German Longsword). It is the only place I know of which teaches Italian Longsword in the Denver Area.The Guild is quite flexible with scheduling classes, balances the academic and active sides of HEMA, and is active in the HEMA community around Denver.
