Dr. Lovett does fantastic work. I had a procedure done at a place in Washington State that came out looking pretty terrible, but Dr. Lovett and her staff fixed it. Reasonably priced, great bedside manner, and lovely team.

I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Harris as a gentleman, surgeon, and expert in hair restoration. He combines technical skill and an esthetic sense of what looks good for an individual. From the initial interview, Dr. Harris gave me an oversight in hair restoration, both medical and surgical, as it related to me personally. Dr Harris and his entire team met and exceeded my expectations in professionalism, service, empathy, and surgical excellence. I am an eye surgeon and I believe I have a unique insight into choosing an excellent surgeon for hair restoration. I researched the top doctors and those who had actually written peer reviewed literature on hair restoration. Having been involved in 38 clinical trials myself over the past 17 years as an eye surgeon, I know that publication of articles reflects that the surgeon is on the cutting edge of their field. Also, Dr Harris concentrates exclusively on hair restoration surgery. The general public may not know this, but in order to do hair restoration surgery, all you need is a medical license. No special training is required. Dr Harris completed a residency in otolaryngology (Ear, nose, and throat surgery) which includes extensive training in facial and scalp plastic surgery. I know that otolaryngology residencies are among the most competitive in medicine. You have to be really smart to get in. He went on to do specific training in hair restoration surgery. He led the way in development of the SAFE system, FUE, and the ARTAS robot. Additionally, he actually does most of the procedure himself. I interviewed other doctors and most only create the implant sites. And as a bonus, he actually has had hair restoration surgery himself. I had 6 prior surgeries before I visited Dr. Harris - I know that restoration can be an embarrassing (sometimes slightly traumatic) experience even in the hands of great doctors (and I DID have great doctors in the past). I was prepared for another difficult procedure and long recovery (worth it for the hair), but Dr. Harris and his staff made everything easier than I could have imagined. The staff made me comfortable from beginning to end. Dr. Harris discussed every step and its options along the way. The procedure itself was much more comfortable than my previous procedures (again, I had good doctors in the past). Heres the biggie: my recovery time was MUCH SHORTER than Id expected. His team cut my hair with enough to precision that the procedure was almost completely concealed within a week or two - I couldnt believe it. I had be planning to spend the entire summer under a hat but, t0 days after the procedure (1800 grafts by the way) not even my friends could tell anything different about me. I wish I had known about Dr. Harris earlier in my life because my earlier procedure, though ultimately positive, made for difficult recoveries that left me doubting my choices until the results finally came in. With Dr. Harris, I still have to wait for the result (we all do), but Im doing so while looking good and feeling confident. Cant thank you all enough!

Dr. Harris was extremely helpful and made me feel completely comfortable with the procedure. The first few days were rough, but afterwards was totally worth it. My hair is naturally thin, but this helped even it out. I did the FUE procedure and had 2000 Grafts, 1000 on the crown and 1000 in the front. Really started noticing a difference about 4-5 months after the procedure and only got better from there.

I argued with myself for years as to whether to spend the money for a FUE procedure. Would it be worth it? would the results look natural??After many hour researching the procedure online, Hair Sciences Center consistently kept popping up as one of the best clinics in the US. As an added bonus, they are only two miles from my house so I made an appointment for a consult with Dr. Lovitt. My goals were simply to minimize the bare areas on the top of my head (hoping to obviate the need to constantly wear a cap or hat in cold weather) and restore a bit of hairline. I simply wanted to look like I was losing my hair, not already bald!I had approximately 2400 grafts over two days. The procedure was relatively painless and everyone I dealt with at the clinic was wonderful. After the healing, shedding and regeneration process (approximately 14-16 weeks for me) I started noticing the new hairs growing in. The results were incredible. The improved hairline looks natural and the orientation of the implants was done perfectly so as to allow the hairs to grow in the consistent direction of the few remaining hairs I possessed.Now, two years after the procedure, I am so pleased with the results that I am seriously considering a follow-up procedure to add a touch more coverage and fullness. I will not hesitate to have this done by Dr. Lovitt as well.

Could not recommend Dr. Harris and his team any more strongly! I am a 26 year old male who didnt win the gene lottery when it comes to hair. While I wish it didnt bother me, who doesnt want a solid head of hair! It took me a couple of years to commit to a transplant, and Im so glad that I did, and even more glad I chose Dr. Harris. My issue with some other consultations was that they would either paint too bleak of a picture, or the exact opposite. Dr. Harris was realistic and positive in my consultations, and I am glad I trusted him. I am 1 year out and loving the results. Sure, it doesnt look like it did 10 years ago, but I honestly dont think any other transplant center could have done a better job than Dr. Harris. If I get a few years down the road and want the crown filled in any more, I will 100% go back.

I had an appointment and they called me back saying due to unforseen circumstances we have to cancel your appointment without explanation then they call me back and say we can give you another date, but it will be with the doctor so there will be a fee for the consolation what a joke.

Dr Harris and his entire team are amazing. His knowledge and skill with hair restoration are amazing, but it’s the entire process that is well managed and made easy by the team. I started thinking about hair transplants when I was 22. By 28 I finally got to the point financially where I could afford them. I did my research and decided to go with the Hair Sciences Center. They were amazing! They gave me all the information I needed upfront and there were no hidden fees (something that a lot of other places have). They also took care of a concern I had with my first operation in a timely and professional manner. I realize that this is an expensive process but with Hair Sciences you are paying for the best. You can trust these doctors. I can’t say enough about how amazing they are and how satisfied I am with the procedure. It feels so good to have a full head of hair again.

Took the time to answer my questions and was the sole Doctor to state that a hair transplant cannot ever result in an appearance of hair before any was lost and certainly not of the same density or quality as the donor area on the sides of your scalp. I guess the procedure offered by Dr. Harris would be meager at best if it wont have the same density or quality as the rest of your head. Most surgeons brag on their knowledge, skill and ability to have the results blend and look just like the surrounding hair. The only guarantee offered was if the MD wasnt happy with the end result, he would make it right. Of course, thats if the MD isnt happy...not necessarily you the patient. It was refreshing to hear honesty from a MD but without a guarantee on graft survival rate or an end result that matches existing hair density/quality, it is best to look elsewhere.

Dr. Harris AND his staff are truly 5 star professionals. Answered all my dozens of questions. When you go and get this type of procedure done youre pretty vulnerable and maybe feel awkward. They helped me feel comfortable. I was balding pretty good on my crown. They helped fill it in! 2nd Chance at hair. Would recommend!

When I turned 30 I decided to do something about my baldness and discovered Hair Sciences Center and Dr. Harris after extensive research. His professionalism and his staffs hospitality immediately made me realize I made the right choice. I was BALD... like George Costanza bald, so my situation was fairly severe. After a thorough evaluation, we opted for a 2-day procedure using the ARTAS robot yielding approximately 3,200 grafts. To put it quite simply, Dr. Harris and the team are amazing. About 6 months ago they performed a corrective FUT and FUE procedure on me of ~ 3,000 grafts. During the 2 day operation they were nothing but kind and professional. Six months later and my hair is already looking great, better than it ever has in my entire life. A little over a month after surgery with Dr. Harris. I cant say enough great things about Dr. Harris and his staff. I have done extensive research and met with many doctors. I scheduled a consultation with Dr. Harris being very impressed with his reputation and wanted to know what he thought my likelihood for candidacy would be. I ended up feeling massively disrespected and condescended to. Dr. Harris was dismissive and acted like he wanted to leave the appointment as soon as he could. He was completely rude and I felt extremely uncomfortable asking reasonable questions because it was blatantly obvious he had some sort of problem with me being there. It was as if I hadnt paid hard-earned money to get an assessment of my situation and what could be done in the future. As a result I ended up leaving with just as many questions as I had going in. I would never be comfortable with such a person operating on me and I will be sure to look elsewhere in the future. An extreme disappointment.

It is obvious that Dr. Harris is totally committed to providing the most comfortable and professional experience available in hair transplant surgery, and he really does deliver everything as explained on his website and in his initial consultation. Since I was pretty bald on top, I did the complete shave for the surgery. After almost 3,800 grafts over 2 days, a pretty large number, discomfort and swelling subsided within 4-5 days. Except for those closest to me, people didnt notice the transplants, and the hair growth after 3-4 months was gradual. 7 months later people say I look 10 years younger, and it certainly feels like it looking in the mirror. Old and new growth has blended perfectly. Bottom line, I truly trust Dr. Harris and his staff for their judgement, experience and skill at what they do, and I only wish I had done it sooner.

I extensively researched who is the best doctor to assist me with hair loss in the Denver and Northern CO area, and the name of Dr James Harris MD kept coming up. I am somewhat older and never really cared that much until lately about my hair loss, but I wanted to at least check into my options and see what could and could not be achieved.So, I scheduled a consult with Dr Harris at Hair Sciences Center and went in to meet him. Within about 2 or so minutes, he surprised me. I mean REALLY surprised me.He diagnosed my hair loss as a rare auto-immune disorder and not Male Pattern Baldness as I had naturally believed. This was kind of a shock. The only way to confirm was by having a biopsy on my scalp. The next week, I scheduled a biopsy with a Dermatologist closer to my home and sure enough,... Dr Harris was absolutely correct.Since I actually do have this condition, Dr Harris is not able to offer me any services that will help my hair loss issues. He was very open and honest about that from the start. He answered all questions, educated me about the potential condition and even prepared me somewhat, in the event his conclusion was confirmed.His expertise is second to none, his personality, people skills, bedside manner (for lack of a better term) are all impeccable. And, he saved me from wasting many thousands of dollars on treatments and services that would not have worked. On Aug 12, 2016 I had an FUT eyebrow procedure. I had very thin eyebrows, and a scar running through one where no hair would grow at all. I had an exceptional experience at Hair Sciences Center. I went to Hair Science Center of Colorado first in July 2014 for my initial consultation. I met with Dr. Harris whom was very friendly, he listened to my concerns and talked about various treatments other than hair transplant surgery. Its now Jan 2017. After much consideration and thought, I decided to go with the FUE transplant surgery. The staff was extremely friendly and professional. The whole process took about 8 hours. The whole process was also very enjoyable, I was very comfortable, all the support staff was great. Dr. Lovitt did my surgery and she was amazing! She contacted me later on that night to check-in to see how I was doing. She was friendly and answered any questions I had. When I had questions the next day I called the office, the office staff was very helpful and informative when giving me specific answers. I would definitely recommend Hair Science Center of Colorado to anyone and everyone who is thinking about getting a hair transplant procedure done.

So I have been having issues with hair loss, and its not sever but he was so mean. Just because I dont have bald spots yet, doesnt mean my hair loss isnt real. He made me feel like a hypochondriac just because I wanted a second opinion. I was honestly almost in tears because he made me feel like I was making my symptoms up. Terrible bedside manner and a waste of money. Would not recommend

I cant say enough about the outstanding job James Harris, M.D. and his staff (especially Janiece McCasky, Clinical Administrator) did for me with my hair transplant.I had thought about hair replacement for years and was finally encouraged to take the first steps after meeting Dr. Harris. The experience was one of the best things thats ever happened to me and Im very gratified with the results. I can wholeheartedly recommended Dr. Harris.

I made an appointment with doctor Harris and was a little nervous about going . But it was a very low key and discrete experience , which I put a high value on as im sure most patients do. His staff including Laura were very helpful and calming! It is a very professional but pleasant place! I decided to have the procedure done and it was so comfortable and painless that I should have never waited to do it ! We had a horrible experience with this clinic. Everything was set for the procedure and then the procedure was abruptly canceled with no hope of getting it rescheduled. This was just plain rude since so much time had been spent researching the procedure and talking to clinic staff. The cancellation also created a great deal of inconvenience as schedules had already been re-arranged to accommodate the surgery date. We called the clinic many times to try to salvage the surgery but nobody ever answered the phone or responded to voicemails. Overall a very negative experience.

If you want to look younger and feel more confident about your look, go to Hair Sciences Center and talk to Dr. James Harris. Four months after my FUE surgery, I noticed visual changes and a couple of behavioral changes. Previously, I would change barbers every couple of months hoping a good haircut would make my hairline look a little better. Today, I no longer do that. In fact, I look forward to haircuts so I can see the progress from the procedure. I also wore many hats — most of the time when I was not at work — now I do not wear hats nearly as much. Before the procedure I was nervous about whether my hairline would come out looking natural... this is the #1 reason why I would highly recommend Dr. Harris! He has the experience and expertise to create a very natural hairline that looks good at 40yrs old. And I am confident that I will look good in the years to come. I would like to write this review today as I am a former patient of Hair Sciences Center of Colorado and Dr. James Harris MD. I had 4 procedures, 2 of which were mega-sessions. This review is a bit late as I am researching PRP injections for hair loss and I just so happen to stumble upon the review sections and had to write one. Let me simply say, I am secure enough with my masculinity when I say that I absolutely love Dr. Harris, period. The doctor if your curious was featured on the Doctors show too for his expertise on hair restoration. The picture you see on here of me is of my full hair restoration. The doctor is also an artist/expert on the subject of mapping hairlines. I had previous consultations with big name doctors in Southern California and they were not a right match for my procedure because there attitude was, you will be a patient for life. So I am happy with the outcome, there is no pain or side effects years after the process. I want more to be quite honest and may go another route but still deciding about the next steps. I am 100% satisfied with everything the good doctor did for me from start to finish.I had a total of approximately 8000 grafts per FUE technique.

Had PRP with Dr Lovitt. She seemed to have very little experience with the procedure. The procedure didnt work and actually caused more hair loss because of the shedding period. Also developed two large hematomas after the procedure. Clinic never followed up with me on my progress so they arent very concerned with patient satisfaction or the effectiveness of their treatment.

For anyone that wants a world class doctor for any hair transplanting needs look no further! I am a male in my thirtys and when I started considering hair transplant surgery I had a very receding hair line that bothered me emotionally. Of course I had a lot of friends and family that told me I looked fine and everything was OK but when I would look in the mirror I would always feel it. I wore a lot of caps and hats to cover the top of my head. So I began looking for a good hair doctor. The first thing I noticed was the price per graft and if it was quite a bit cheaper at other doctors it made a caution flag go up in my mind. This was a procedure that was very important to me because of the longevity of the results I would have to live with so price did not dictate my decision. Dr. Harris was amazing in understanding my situation and recommended I do a FUS procedure. Dr. Harris transplanted 3,453 FUS grafts the first procedure and 525 FUE the second time to just fill in some thinner areas and make it look nearly perfectly balanced. Overall I would say I am very satisfied and would highly recommend Dr. Harris and his entire staff to anyone that is looking for a completely natural looking procedure!

I was completely informed as to all aspects of my transplant surgery; Dr. Harris also advises of valuable additional supporting applications such as Rogaine, Laser, PRP, Liposomal ATP, etc. As a woman I have such a relief from the emotional and psychological pain of losing my hair! I now have no need to use OTC potions I know nothing about! My transplant was much better than a trip to Europe!

I had my procedure done by Dr Lovitt and everything went great! 4 months after my procedure i had hair growing back and by 7 months I was shocked by the results.I chose Dr Lovitt because she was a little less expensive than Dr Harris, but she was great! Dr Harris was around for the pre -op meeting and even checked up on the procedure a few times. The entire staff was really nice here and made the whole experience really positive.

I have flown from California to have transplants from Dr Harris two times now. Why would I travel all this way from a state filled with hair transplant surgeons? Because Dr Harris is the best! He literally wrote the book on hair transplantation (you can find it on Amazon). He also was part of the team that created the Artas hair transplant robot that I used both times. The first time I met him I was surprised how down to earth and friendly this world expert surgeon was. He is a great guy that you could imagine hanging out with at a bar or BBQ.Now down to the important part – the hair! I had 2000 hairs my first surgery with the FUE method. After 4 months I started growing those little suckers back and after 10 months I could not believe how great the results were. The process surpassed my expectations. There was no scarring and the hairs in the donated area look like they have always been there. At least 3 people have told me that I look younger and one girl in a bar said (at about the 9 month mark) how great my hair was - I hadnt heard that for years. I was so happy. Having been completely convinced by Dr Harris and the technology, I went back 2 weeks ago for a top up of 1000 hairs. I cannot wait to see the results.I should also give a shout out to Heather and the other staff who are great and shoot the breeze with you while you are having the extracted hairs being planted back in and watching Netflix. They are great. Also, you can have a sandwich and a cookie halfway into the procedure. Having been two times now (practically a veteran) I would recommend the roast beef (clearly an important decision on the day).All in all, an amazing experience done by the best there is. I would recommend this process to anyone. The happiness : money spent ratio was definitely the best I have done in my life. Thank you Dr Harris!

About 12 years ago, I visited Dr. Harris for a consult regarding my hair loss along my hairline and temples. At the time Dr. Harris provided me with some good advice to help me maintain my hair, e.g. Rogaine, spironalactone. He was very warm and easy to communicate with. These measures helped buy me time. In the interim, I saw Dr. Harris appear on The Doctors. That, of course, further enhanced my image of him. I decided to return for a second consultation a year ago. At that time, I was convinced to proceed. Dr. Harris detected an issue with my scalp which concerned him that could prevent the implant from succeeding. He took a biopsy and, fortunately, determined it was a false alarm. At the time of the surgery, they made me extremely comfortable and provided me a delicious lunch. Subsequent to the surgery, Dr. Harris even called me to check on my progress. When I had concerns, he kindly took my call. He prepared me thoroughly on post surgery care and expectations. In addition, I periodically received progress emails. My hairdressers (yes, I have more than one) are extremely impressed with the aesthetics of the results, as am I. Dr. Harris has a very artistic eye and is a kind man.His medical assistants were very solicitous during and after the procedure. They were concerned that I cover my head as I exited the building.

I paid $70 for a useless consultation that other clinics do for free! The consultation wasn’t even helpful.

I hardly ever give 5 stars in reviews as I am pretty picky, but Dr. Harris really deserves it.I went to Dr. Harris in 2014 for the first time after experiencing hairloss for a good 1.5 years . He was my last resort. I had been to Hair Club prior to that, and they diagnosed me with sever AGA and told me I will lose 75% of my hair in 2.5 year, and wanted to sell me a system for $3000 to keep it (total rip off). Dr. harris did a full thorough analysis of my scalp for FREE, and told me that he doesnt see any signs of AGA. He said I naturally have very fine hair and if there is a history of HL in our family (and it is), I would be a great candidate for Rogaine 5% foam. He also talked about other treatments, but said I probably wont need it. He didnt try to take advantage of my desperation and sell me other products.Fast forward 1.5 years of Rogaine use, it has done wonders for me. He reassured me that I am not going bald and being a scientist, his opinion meant a lot. I cant recommend him enough. His consultations are free and you can tell that he really cares about what he does and not just does it for the money.

Anyone planning to undergo hair transplants, including body hair transplants, should do a lot of research before selecting a doctor. My previous selection was a prominent physician on the West Coast who came highly recommended but who turned out to be a big disappointment. I underwent 3 sessions with this doctor. His employees seemed to fear him and his arrogant attitude was quite disturbing. At my final session, this doctor actually ignored my instructions and removed at least 150 beard hairs from my chin after I had explicitly directed him to leave my goatee alone. I wound up with a chin that had major bald spots. I have since learned that the technical term for what was done to me is known as “over-harvesting.”I am so grateful that I have found Dr. James Harris at the Hair Sciences Center of Colorado. I have had 6 (FUE) sessions with Dr. Harris and I am very pleased with him and his entire staff. Everyone is very friendly at this office and the patient is made to feel completely relaxed. Dr. Harris is a very “down to earth” guy and listens carefully as you tell him your goals and expectations. He gives you his opinions and then, together, you and Dr. Harris come up with a treatment plan for that day. Before any surgery takes place, Dr. Harris draws lines on your scalp in front of a mirror, where you have agreed transplants will be placed. He also outlines the donor areas where he will harvest the hairs. Dr. Harris has always done exactly what was agreed upon prior to surgery. At my most recent visit, Dr. Harris transplanted beard hairs to my chin to fill in the bald spots caused by my previous surgeon and I am extremely pleased with the results.I live on the East Coast and don’t mind traveling to Denver because of the expertise that Dr. Harris brings to each procedure. He is a pioneer in the FUE technique. Dr. Harris invented the FUE “dull” punch which is now used all over the world. He also invented the motorized version of this punch. It’s truly an honor to be a patient of such a talented professional.I am very satisfied with the results of my 6 (FUE) procedures. In my case, due to limited donor supply on my scalp, all transplanted hairs came from my beard or chest. Healing was very quick. Whenever I arrived for a session with Dr. Harris there was never any apprehension on my part, since, in my case, the procedures were completely painless. A television is available for those wishing to be entertained while the procedure is going on. In all honesty, a trip to this office is more like going to a spa, than it is like going to a medical clinic. Prior to any surgery each patient is asked to select a menu item for lunch.If you are planning on having a transplant procedure, consider yourself very lucky to have found the office of Dr. James Harris. He is probably the best hair transplant surgeon in the world. My only regret is that I did not find him sooner. I still have 2 more sessions to reach my goal and I look forward to making those trips to Denver.
