This place is great always clean and very friendly and awesome prices .

Paid $2000 for a trainer. She was nice but I never lost 1 pound or inch and never felt any different if I went or not.

Isn’t any minus starts for rating the other way I’ll rated with minus 100. Back on February I get a membership because I need just a temporary membership they told me it’s not a cancellation fee and I rent a locker also them a couple months later I went to cancel the membership and they offered a 20 dollars membership and I just canceled the lockers and today I’ll find out they were charging me 39 dollars every month so I went to cancel and the manager told me that is because I have a locker and told her I did cancel the locker months ago she said I don’t have any proof and yes is cancellation fee she was very rude she said if you want to make me fired here’s the number you can call ( that number is only to payments not to complaint) she was really mean and nasty her name is TONY DAMARIO. I don’t recommend this place to not body

Toni Damario is the rudest manager I have met in all commercial gyms. Two months ago I was charged a 15 dollar declined fee for no good reason and I checked with my bank they definately didnt decline the payment. I went to the gym to ask for a refund of the money, and the manager wouldnt see me in the first place and instead send staff from the welcome team to try to explain. Come on your office is like 10 feet away and the welcome team has no idea about the billing details. So after some back and forth the manager finally allowed me to meet her and promised that this fee would be taken out from next months membership fee. So far I had two more bills and didnt see the money deducted. So I followed up with email (I usually work out around 8PM when the manager is off work already) for multiple times and havent heard back for ten days.This is not how you should treat your gym members. The equipments in this gym are old and the first floor is freezing (I dont think there is heating on the first floor) but I am not going to complain about that. I am only asking you to respond to your members on issues you should taken care of, within reasonable time frame.If anyone is looking for a commercial gym and does care about being treated nicely, avoid this place like a plague.

Having been a member here for almost 3 years, it goes without saying that this is one of the nicer gyms to which I have belonged. Go in the morning to beat the rush, gain insight from any one of the trainers and go for a run before work. Take advantage of the free group classes included with your membership, yoga instructors have all been top notch, fun and insightful. Towel service is a plus, the showers are always clean and work well, locker room is safe and theres plenty of space. A no-pressure gym with a diversity of clientele.

Not the biggest or fanciest club but it has never really been crowded when Ive gone. I go about 4 times a week (including weekends anywhere from 7-8 pm) and there is plenty of room to do what you want to do. Staff is always very friendly and knowledgeable. A little more room would be nice but other than that, no complaints

Online they say they are open but drove here and they are closed. Really annoying.

The gym is small but convenient. People do not clean the machines after working out. I wish it opened earlier than 5:30am. Only 2 stair masters....very limited machines and the ones that are there are very worn out and old, some are even ripped.

I very rarely take my time to write reviews, however, this place certainly warrants one. I hope someone from corporate will see this, because the gym has become so run down that it’s an embarrassment to the chain. In short, all the machines are old as the franchise and rusted, broken or a combination thereof. The water fountains barely have enough pressure to work at all, and the filter status on all of the fountains that allow water bottles to be filled is chronically red, or should be replaced. But they never replace them. I have been a member of this gym for 2 years and question my decision to keep giving them my money month after month. The single only reason I keep my membership here is because I have yet to find a more convenient gym in Greenwich. But, the retched smell every time you walk into the lifting area has me considering taking an extra 10 minutes to join a different gym. Employees are rude, especially at the front desk, and management staff is non existent. This place won’t last long if they don’t clean up their act (and their facilities).

Great atmosphere, great machines and clean facility. I Highly recommend them.

This is the absolute worse gym I have ever been to. I had originally planned to try out the space after being gifted a three day free trial. Within 20 mins of my workout a friend informed me that one of the personal trainers had been criticizing and judging my way of working out to her client the entire time. This was an extremely embarrassing and uncomfortable situation. I left without finishing my workout and was more frustrated and stressed than when I first came in. This place is not somewhere I would ever want to go back to again. I do not recommend signing up for this gym unless you are ready to be judged.

I like the yoga and Pilates classes as well as the convenient location to my house. Its to the point. Its a reasonable rate and super friendly staff, which is priceless. The instructors are good real people.

One of the nicer NYSC’s and I’ve been to quite a few. Open space, rarely waiting for machines. Towels are ok in size and quality but could be better. They offer a large locker room with a sauna. All in all it great gym and has all the basic needs.

They say they close at 22 and close earlier thats not right

I joined pid a fee and one month i had a trial period and called and cancelled immediately...Did not like the facitiy and I had an injury to my shoulder could not work out. I cancelled as I have a right to and these people constantly call herasing me to pay fees. Ive spoken to them on numerous occssions they continously call asking me for fees !!!!!I have never spent ONE DAY there and now woukd not recommend this facitiy to anyone.They know Ive cancelled and want names times dates are they for real?STOP HARASSING ME....STAY AWAY FROM THIS CLUB.....THEY ARE RELENTLESS WHY????WHEN I CAN GO BACK AND WORK OUT IT WILL NOT BE AT THIS AWFUL CLUB....

I will start by saying this place is outright disgusting ! NYSC really needs new management ! And soon ! I have recently moved to Greenwich and my original membership is in New Rochelle which I upgraded my plan to the plus membership so that I can go to any NYSC. I have on numerous occasions have been stop and harassed not only by Connie the front desk rep but Tony the manager as well. I have been coming to this gym for months now and never had an issue in the evening but when I come in early on my days off I am harassed by Connie and tony definitely a racial reason being that Tony the manager has pulled me into her office to verify that I belong at that gym being that she wants to keep the “ riffraff “ out. Not really sure what riffraff would be coming to a gym at 3pm and In Greenwich at that. She literally screamed at me today stating that I wasn’t being harassed and that she has mixed racial family members. Don’t know why she would even say that just because you have family members that are mixed race doesn’t mean you aren’t racist. Connie literally took her hand and brushed the air and told me to go work out because I said I needed to confirm what she was asking me to sign but not telling me what I was signing. I have taken matters to corporate, this place is disgusting and needs new management ASAP I am canceling my membership and please I warn everyone trust the reviews I read them and ignored them but don’t because what everyone is saying is true . Please NYSC get new management or shut this place down !!!!!!!

Free weights area has a low ceiling so hard to do clean and presses

Most of the staff and trainers there are rude and mean. The gym needs to be renovated because it stinks. For this gym to be on Greenwich Ave you would expect it to be really nice on the inside, but its not. The weights are never re-racked. The machines are always dirty.

Staff has been generally helpful, apart from Lorinda on the desk who would advise to not deal with if you can avoid.

Ive been a member for nearly 10 years. This club is not the biggest or the fanciest, but the current crew of trainers is knowledgeable and helpful. And they are the only club in the area with a Tai Chi class!

This is the worst gym I ever been gone , I been this gym for two weeks only I cancel my membership and they charge me for annual fees and the reason they giving is makes no sense , this worst club ever thank you taking my money for not issuing your facility.
