This store is amazing. Chris and Tim are fantastic people. Ive gone here everytime Ive had any problem with my gaming PC. And they fix it, no problem. I bought a laptop from Reboot in June 2021. It worked fine but about 2-3 weeks after using it the hinge came apart. I went back and was informed any issues like that (hardware) was not covered by the store. The 1 year warranty had just expired as well. It’s been 2 months since the purchase and I have waited to write this review. I was able to get a much better computer through Best Buy with warranties. I don’t trust Reboot. They are knowledgeable and friendly but I do not think they cared much at all about my problem on the hinge. At one point the manager/owner seemed to infer to me that it looked like I had dropped it which was not the case.My recommendation to anyone shopping for a computer is to buy direct or from larger retailer to get warranties. Reboot failed to handle me well and would not want this to happen to someone else.

I was supposed to get a switch fixed here. The appraisal was low, and prospects were high. This was more than two weeks ago, around Fathers Day. Ive called the shop every other day since, considering it was only a small port issue that could have been resolved quickly. Today, having more time on my hands, I called multiple times, having run thin on patience.My first contact today was asking for the specific technician who was fixing it, to which I was replied He dont come in til 2:30, and then he hung up.Eventually, after several weeks of promising my child hed get his game fixed, Im told its too corroded to repair. I understand appraisals are estimates, but I could have been notified of this any of the dozens of times Id called before.This repair shop has wasted so much of my time than I dont want anybody else to have to go through the trouble.

Forever a loyal customer to this store. The owner is hands down the coolest and friendliest person you could meet. An extensive knowledge of anything tech related. Best place ever !!! We have bought a desktop with huge monitor $125. - Then later had a phone repair for $10. ( they said $5.00 and I gave them $10 !! ) and then a month ago had 3 laptop computers repaired for only $45. - WOW !!!! AMAZING how fair this place is !!! They also gave me a free power strip and later gave me the correct power cord for a HP laptop free. (I was using a Dell which didnt have the right power) May be the absolute best place in Greenville to do business with !!!! These really NICE PEOPLE give super results !! One partner I think has 7 or 8 children and is a cancer survivor... the other partner (Chris, I think) is one tremendous person. When people are this nice,,, so happy to support them and also get highest quality results !

I cant rate Reboot and its staff highly enough. Its a mom and paps shop. The son, Chris, is one of the nicest people Ive met since Ive moved to Greenville. He is incredibly knowledgeable about computers, and hes a great teacher in that explains his processes in a way that any non-tech savy person like myself can understand. And their prices are very difficult to beat. Seriously, they built me a great gaming computer for half the price I thought it would normally cost. Chris, his dad and the staff at Reboot are incredible and I would urge anybody with computer/ tech questions to check out this hidden gem.

Awesome place to shop for electronics. I went in looking for a usb charger for my PlayStation 3 controller. The owner acknowledged me and greeted me with a smile as soon as I walked in. The good thing was that he had what I was looking for. And on top of that he let me have it for free since it was such a small cord and he happened to have a spare behind the counter...Great customer service! Highly recommended !

Its nice but I feel like they couldve had a bigger variety of stuff to choose from as far as phones as well as accessories to choose from. Only had one case available for my phone and I was kinda disappointed with that choice and color also but price was fair though.

I was offering a used Dell computer to owner, but he couldnt pay me enough to make it worthwhile. The store was crazy busy (lunch hour), but owner remained calm and helpful to everyone. As he was about to suggest that I sell it myself, he said wait a minute, another guy at the counter needed a Windows 7 computer (which mine was), and the owner said Ive got a solution for both of you - He suggested that I sell my computer directly to the guy needing a Windows 7 unit, cutting himself out of any profit at all. People can say what they want but Jonathon has always been honest, fair, and had great deals on electronics. You have to understand that their is risk in buying anything used. A month or two ago, I came in to ask how much my laptop was worth. Jordan was so talkative and appreciative of me. He and another guy (your also important, but sadly I forgot your name since its been a few months) kindly joked around with me while Jordan was waiting to set up the laptop. He asked how much I wanted (which I kind of didnt expect since some other stores just say heres how much its worth and leave.) But Jordan and his work colleague went above and beyond on professional customer service!! I asked for $150, but got $125. Im not mad about this since its $25 less. I absolutely loved the experience at Reboot off N. Pleasantburg Dr. The atmosphere is so calm and soothing. The manager I believe that helped me ( I didn’t get his name ) was so nice and kindhearted. It’s not about the trade. I get that my stuff wasn’t valued enough. It was about rude customer service which you just perfectly displayed with your reply to a bad review. Instead of trying to figure it out and smoothing it over you called someone a joke. That’s what the one star is for. If you have purchased an item from this place, more than likely it’s been stolen. If you get caught with it, your risking a charge for possession of stolen property. They are very helpful and will answer questions and give you the best advice on what to do. I was on that side of town so I decided to stop and see if they wanted to buy a Samsung Galaxy S10 Otterbox case which are at premium price now I would have let go for less than $20. When I walked in there were two people in front of me and I waited about 15 to 20 minutes, 2 ladies walked in right before he was finishing up with the customer in front of me. They walked right up to the counter and started being served after I was standing there for 15 to 20 minutes. I didnt need the money but wanted to see how the place was I will never go back and will never recommend it.

Today we recently got a laptop from reboot and I have to say, reboot has the most awesome customer service into giving and providing good service. The young man gave us a fair discount and was fast and prompt checking us out. In addition to that, reboot prices are reasonable in thier electronics as well. I havent really have the time to give a review in the past but everytime I went to reboot, I always came out in a good mood. This place is chill and has an inviting atmosphere to it. As soon as I walk in the door I feel welcome and the atmosphere of the place is really great! They just recently remodeled the store and it looks amazing. It has never been that easy to walk into a store and walk out with exactly what I wanted. The prices are lower than average and the salesmen are really easy to talk to. If you have a perfect product, you dont need great customer service. If youre selling second-hand equipment, the customer service had better be stellar. Im glad to say that with problem after problem with the computers I got from Reboot, I still ended up a happy customer. Thats because Jonathan went out of his way (especially at the end after three computers had had problems, which he said was extremely unusual), to ask me how he could make it right to me, and then going beyond even that. Yes, it was troublesome, but if I count my hours driving and waiting (though the waits were never long) as income saved in the cost of the very nice computer I ended up with, then ultimately I came out with a very good ROI. Yes, I would do business with them again.

Keep in mind, this computer could easily go for $1,900. I messaged the business on a Sunday, more than willing to drive 2 hours to get the computer, but they’re closed on Sunday. That’s fine, plenty of small business are closed on Sundays. ***LOOK AT BOTTOM OF REVIEW***I look up their reviews on Google Reviews (just like you, the reader, are doing now), and saw they had mostly good reviews... a shocking amount of good reviews. But wait... most of these reviewers only have one review on their profile. The three reviewers that do have more than one review on their profile state this.1) Complaining about an unfair price for a broken phone (you’re not gonna get full value, come on!)2) The phone I received turned out to be stolen. They refunded my money, even though it’s outside the return period (That’s nice.)3) If you’ve done business with them, you’re more than likely in possession of a stolen product and will be out of luck and possibly charged if the original owner comes for it. The FBI raided them for this reason.I did a little research because of the third review, and sure enough they were right, the business had had a run in with the FBI due to their antics. The business finally messaged me back regarding the laptop.It’s an extremely good price for a computer that’s in high demand and could easily sell for higher. Bought a Samsung Galaxy S4 from these folks. I had to order a SIM card so waited 5 days for that and received the wrong size from carrier. Waited another 5 days and the phone would not work. Carrier told me it was a defective SIM and sent me another SIM card. 5 days later, new SIM, phone still wouldnt work. Did some personal research and found the phone had been bricked by T-mobile after being reported lost or stolen. I was now outside the 2 week return window. I took the phone back. They took a moment to verify the phone was indeed bricked and promptly refunded my money, no questions asked. I had previously purchased a galaxy tab from them and it has been great. The fact is that these sellers had been defrauded by the people they got the phone from and even though they wont be able to sell the phone they promptly refunded my money outside the return window. Things happen. The expectation has to be that when they do the seller makes it right. Reboot did. I would not hesitate to purchase from them again, though I may be done with used cell phones from anybody!

Lydon announced today that Jonathan E. Field, age 41, and Shena J. Field, age 40, both of Mauldin, South Carolina, were found guilty of a conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud. A federal jury returned guilty verdicts late Friday evening after two hours of deliberation. United States District Judge Donald C. Coggins of Spartanburg received the verdict and will sentence the Fields after receiving and reviewing a Presentence Investigation Report prepared by the United States Probation Office.Evidence presented at trial showed that the Fields owned and operated the business Reboot LLC, which purports to be a used electronics store. Reboot, however, was an organized fencing operation where shoplifters, many of whom suffered from drug addiction, unloaded their new-in-the-box stolen items for a fraction of the items’ retail value. The Fields posted the stolen items for sale on EBay and sold the items to honest purchasers who were uninformed as to the status of the items.The evidence showed that the Fields welcomed the shoplifters’ business by not requiring production of sales receipts and implementing a no-questions-asked policy at Reboot. Store records entered into evidence showed that some shoplifters went to Reboot almost every day, and sometimes multiple times per day, to bring stolen goods. The Fields and store employees would also meet the shoplifters after hours at gas stations and other spots to receive the stolen goods. If Reboot oversold an item on EBay, the Fields would instruct selected shoplifters to obtain the item for Reboot so as to avoid bad feedback on the EBay website.Law enforcement estimates that during the conspiracy period the Fields received hundreds of thousands of dollars in stolen merchandise. Thirteen co-conspirators have pleaded guilty and admitted their involvement in the Reboot criminal enterprise.The maximum sentence the Fields face is 20 years in federal prison, a fine of $250,000, and three years of court-ordered supervision.This case was investigated by the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office and the United States Secret Service. Assistant United States Attorneys Andrew B. Moorman, Sr., and Bill Watkins of the Greenville office handled the case.
