Great music school. My three kids were part of the String Studio, using the Suzuki method for 7 years. They all started at age 3. Carol Moore-Munroe (the schools owner) is an amazing instructor. Her love and kindness are, quite literally, incredible. Every time a child plays, the first thing she says is positive, no matter what. She always finds something positive to praise. Then she follows with gentle guidance on what needs work. Her patience and loving teaching style are outstanding. My boys are high energy and lively, often attracting criticism from teachers and others. Not with Carol. She understands boys and does not judge them for their natural liveliness and energy. In addition, Carol is a talented musician who brings a strong sense of artistry and musicality to her teaching. We moved away and are now at a highly-regarded music school in New York State but I still miss the Wright School and Carols unique way of combining musical knowledge with a love and respect for children.

Fantastic music school! My 8 year old has attended for the last two years and I couldn’t be happier with what she’s learned. She attends violin lessons with Carol Wright. Ms. Carol is amazingly patient with my daughter and the other children. She finds ways to get complex ideas across to kids in ways that are fun and exciting. Every staff member I’ve worked with is helpful and professional. We really feel at home at this school. Ms. Carol has helped tremendously in instilling a love of music in my daughter.

I cannot say enough about how wonderful our experience has been at the Wright Studio of Music. Carol is such a brilliant teacher. She has many years of experience and it is evident in her teaching style. Our daughter has really soared in her abilities as a violinist, and there is no other place I would rather her learn to play!

Really friendly and supportive environment here. As a teacher, I particularly like that it provides more of a holistic learning experience than simply taking instrumental or voice lessons from one teacher in seclusion. You can catch all kinds of music from various instruments and styles being played as you walk down the hall to find a practice room (which are all great quality - very important!). A variety of classes, group and individual, are offered, including instrumental as well as history, theory, composition, and more. Plus, the opportunities continue to grow at the school with talented and creative teachers putting together new programs and ensembles.

The Wright School of Music is a wonderful place of learning which encompasses a wide variety of instruction for all ages. There is a wonderful sense of family and warm support from in the atmosphere from the moment you step through the door. The teachers are very experienced and as a professional musician with a performance degree I can say that this is a wonderful place to begin playing a musical instrument or continue lessons if you have taken a break from playing. The pricing and policies is well within reason and it is a great place to grow as musician and individual. The office staff is extremely kind and always greet you with a smile.

The Wright School of music is truly a special place. They have teachers for just about any instrument imaginable. Most of these instructors have degrees in music or are currently pursuing said degrees, providing a high level of expertise for an affordable price. This is an amazing place to begin or continue your musical experience, no matter what your age is.

The Wright School of Music is a fantastic place to learn about any instrument you can think of. The staff is very diverse and highly educated across the board. John and Carol Wright are the 2 of the nicest people you will ever meet, and they care very much about each one of their students and teachers.

This school feels like family. There are so many great people; teachers, students and office staff. Its just a great place to learn.
