Nice reception area. Went to the front desk to have someone provide me an estimate. Both ladies greeted me, one asked if I had an appointment. When I told him I didnt she rolled her eyes....nice body language. She informed me, they only except appointments for estimates. This business is not on a main road. I made a special effort to comes see them!! I kindly left without an appointment.I went two other body shops. No appointment needed. But they dont have the fancy reception area.

Im so confused by the negative reviews. Im new to the area and, honestly, havent had the best of luck with customer service around here. I had the opposite experience with Image, where my car was taken after a wreck simply because I told my insurance carrier I had no familiarity with any body shop in town.I worked mostly with Amy Crane, and the only card she played with me was that of a genuine, professional and accessible customer service provider. My car was deemed a total loss by my insurance company, so I ended up not having repairs done at Image, but Amy went above and beyond to keep me informed, accommodate my requests, and put my mind at ease. I dealt with probably four front desk agents, as well, and all were extremely personable. My car was located in a back lot and inspections/cleaning the car out, offered me an opportunity to be escorted through the bays. The laborers were friendly and well-spoken, and the garage was clean and organized (and very busy!). The lobby is bright and spotless, and they open at 7 a.m. (which is great if you commute and need to leave Greenville early). My experience with Image was outstanding from a communication and customer service perspective. While I cant speak to the quality of their repair work, Id still recommend them to anyone looking for a body shop.

Not a bad place. They do the work well and are friendly about it in my experience. However, being as large and busy as they are, things tend to fall through the cracks.I had to take the car back once for something that was missed and it did take longer than expected for all of the repairs to be complete. Also, some of the mechanical work (door motor) was not done very well and poorly adjusted. All-in-all it was a good experience and at no point did they get they get upset or rude when I brought up issues or expressed any concerns.

When I made a claim with Allstate for damage on my door (comprehensive) of my WRX, I was asked to visit this location for the estimate. I was not coerced in any way to use this shop, but after meeting the staff and understanding the convenience of the payment and car rental arrangements they offer, I decided to give them a try. Since the damage was minor, I felt it was a good opportunity since I have never had this car in a body shop yet. Amy guided me through the whole process and kept me up to date. The repair only took a few days, and the staff stayed late on a Friday so that I could take my car home for the weekend. There were a couple of small adjustments to make at that time, but they took care of it immediately. I even received nice compliments about my car. The way they detailed it before delivery really impressed me, as well. I would definitely recommend Caliber Collision (was Image Collision) for repairs going forward. Note: The only issue I encountered is that I drove off with an automotive screw in my tire. I was able to repair the tire, thankfully, but that could have been a very expensive and inconvenient ordeal to replace all of my tires (AWD). When I picked up the car, it sounded like I just had a big rock in the tread. Just check your tires, thats all I recommend.

Absolutely perfect! I received an estimate over the phone and through email from Brett, who was very kind and helpful. I dropped my black 2011 Mustang off to have the trunk lid painted at 7 am on a Tuesday. I was told it would be ready by Friday or Monday, however, I received a call at 5 pm that same day letting me know that my Mustang was finished! When I arrived, I spoke to Haley (the manager) who was very nice. She let me know that since it was a small repair, she went ahead and got my car in the shop. They pulled my car around and the trunk looked brand new - the paint exactly matched. In addition, they washed my car, vacuumed my car, and touched up some scratches for free. Thank you so much!!!

Very dissatisfied with service. Would not do business with them again or recommend to others.I was involved in a minor parking lot accident that required my passenger side door to be replaced. This was a GEICO recommended repair shop so I brought my car here. Upon replacing my damaged door, the guys doing the repairs decided to keep the interior panel from my damaged door and install it onto the replacement door (guess the replacement wasnt an exact match). When I went to pick up my car, the interior panel had been badly damaged and was barely hanging on the door. Whoever worked on this clearly wasnt familiar with what they were doing and tried to pull the interior panel off without first properly removing the screws holding in it place. As a result, the panel was ripped out from its screws and I could no longer open or close the door from the inside. They also returned it with several of the screws missing (really guys??). When I confronted the manager and then the owner about this, they said the door was already damaged like that when I brought it in and refused to replace it and accused me of lying about it saying he believed his technicians word over mine. Later on they offered to split the cost of a new panel 50/50 but never followed through with their promise and made no attempt to even find a replacement panel. I got tired of dealing with this company and decided to repair the panel myself. As far as quality of work, I had to bring my car back in 3 different times before they painted the exterior correctly (had streaks, globs, etc.) Huge hassle and waste of my time dealing with this repair shop.If you do decide to do business with this company then I highly recommend taking detailed pictures of your vehicle before allowing them to touch it.

I, too, took my car to Image at the behest of Allstate. The car was in a front end collision. I later found out that, despite replacing the brackets on the radiator, they failed to replace the radiator itself. This, despite the fact that it had a large crease in it, that was leaking. In fact, I found that out when I went to have it flushed and the mechanic advised me it was to dangerous to do so.A side view mirror fell out, but was never replaced. I had to take the care back for the headlights THREE times. They were not properly installed. This meant that the low beams were both incorrectly aimed, leaving the area in front of the car one dark void, yet the sidewalk or lane next to the car were very well lit. The high beams were placed into the reflector WITHOUT the brackets. That means that they kept falling back into the engine compartment and were actually dimmer than the parking lights. The passenger has not sat flush since they worked on the car. The body work was so poorly done, that the trim on the doors bow out each time you open them.Additionally, much like another customer mentioned, I took my car in to try to have the light situation rectified only to be stuck with a repair bill after the alternator suddenly went. Now, the car started when we took it in. It started when the girl drove it back into the garage to have them fix the lights (which they had left the brackets off of once again). When they came back out we found that they had to jump the car to get it out of the garage. They tried to send us home with the car, asking my mother to come back when the new radiator came in. However, after much mincing about (this place is painfully disorganized) they sent her home with a rental car that ended up costing us $20/day + tax out of our pockets. They then agreed to fix the alternator for cost (I feel there should have been no charge for this service). All told it cost me nearly $250.00 additional because Image Collision failed to fix my car correctly the first TWO times I brought it back to them.I would be glad to show the work they did on my car to anyone who may be considering their services. I implore and beg of anyone thinking about taking your vehicle here, please do not. I have another friend who had her car repaired here and she also has a door that no longer sits flush. To call their work sub-par would be the larges understatement I have made all year. Buyer beware, they clearly care more about the design of their lobby and waiting area than they do about the quality of their work.

DO NOT USE IMAGE IN GRENVILLE SC!!! I brought my 2006 Saab back to them to repair a scratch in the door after being somewhat pleased with them a few months ago. When I picked up the car, a message indicating the headlight leveling system had a malfunction was showing on the info display. Image offered to fix it the following week. After they picked up the car, they told me it would cost $100 to reprogram the system. I was shocked they they had the nerve to charge me for something they broke! So then the guy says hell be meet me in the middle at $50, nice huh? Well I paid it so I could get my car back and make sure everyone knows what cheap crooks they are. What business wouldnt make a REPEAT customer who spent thousands happy by repairing their own damage for only $50 bucks? None that I will ever use again!

I was referred here by State Farm insurance company. I called on October 28th to schedule a time to get a quote. I was told that the man I needed to speak with was at lunch. I explained to the very unprofessional lady on the phone that State Farm had already sent over all the paperwork and I just need to set up a time to bring my car in for the quote. She said that he would call me back when he returned from lunch. Monday morning November 2nd he still had not returned my call so I called back. I got the same unprofessional lady.... and she said he is at lunch I will have him call you back.... its Thursday November 5th.... I guess he is still at lunch! I finally called State Farm back told them what was going on and they sent my paperwork to a different body shop. They called me within 10 minutes and had me in within the hour!

Do not use Image Collision! I was rear ended and the estimate said: measure frame, replace left leaf spring, bumper, bracket and tailgate. It ended up that they ruined my truck. First- after 1 week, my vehicle was not even touched. After 2 weeks I dropped by and told them, that my biggest concern is the frame- and that they should not do anything, before they know. Too late. Then I had a call, that they waiting on the appraiser, because the frame is damaged and it has to go to a frame specialist. After multiple calls asking for information, suddenly I had the call from Amy, who tells you every time another story and apologizes for the wrong information (I tell it a lie) and tells you the next story. She said, I can pick my truck up. I drove 35 miles just to find out, that my truck was completely disassembled in the shop on the spot, where it was sitting already for 3 1/2 weeks! I talked to Todd, the owner and the technician who had the truck on the frame tester. The tech explained 10 minutes what the problem is- and it sounded like he knows what he was talking about. Todd promised me to check again and let me know. The next day I called for an update and Todd said he cant remember, that the tech was there and explained whats up with the frame and the alignment was ok. I told him, that I am not interested in a wheel alignment result, I ask about the frame- never got an answer. After 5 weeks!!!! I called the insurance and the insurance made pressure. Suddenly I get a call from Images, the tech put the clamp on the wrong spot and the frame is ok- I can pick up the truck Monday. I did. It was a disaster. The truck pulled to the left, the steering was pointing right. My interior was flooded, because the cut the window out for fixing a dent what was not caused by the accident. they damaged the frame and put the damaged window back in. The tailgate was mounted to a broken hinge, the door seals was not installed, the headliner was loose and the truck was moaning and squeaking like someone who dies. Images had 3 more chances (3 more weeks!) and couldnt fix the squeaking. They greased the underbody full, that the grease dripped in my driveway, and then they had the bright idea to put the hardest heavy duty shocks in, they could find- next stage would be the shocks from a transfer truck. now my truck eats tires, bounces around and still squeaks. Also the paint does not match the rest of the vehicle. I am still laborating around with the insurance company for fix, because Images refused to give me the truck without handing over the insurance check. Still an ongoing repair since now November 22nd. they might be good to ding some dents out- but if you have a serious problem- make a big bow around them- they lie to you, betray you and the worst thing- they really dont know what theyre doing. the problem is, most will never find out. because they are no specialist. My tip- if you are so brave to use them- just take them to a appraiser to check the work. but beware- if he finds something- and he will- you will have to deal with the most unprofessional team I ever seen in my life.
