This was the best car buying experience I have had. My salesman-Abraham was cool as always. I have known his family for 10+ years. Always professional, personable, and knowledgeable. He made me feel like I was the only one there and was very patient. He also went out of his way to drive to my house to appraise my car that I was trading in. I haven’t had more than a phone conversation with this group. I guess it’s a hit or miss with the “southern hospitality”. They could use some how to talk to people training. But who knows you give it whirl and see if they’re different. I’d rather build my own car

I called the guy was rude. I really think professionalism is key. If the person is busy they should write down the phone number and name of the customer who called and get back to them. They did not do this which is terrible for business.

Got a 2017 Eleantra from here, the every next day the motor blew because they did not put oil cap on properly, they let me use the down payment and I got a 2015 jetta, in less than an hour the car still drives, but smokes came from the engine. 2 major car failures, 2 different cars, in 24hrs, I keep you updated

Car shopping with my niece and we stopped in at Greenville Motor Company completely randomly and were greeted by Abraham right away. From the very beginning he took excellent care of us and showed us all the cars we wanted to look at. From the then we were not going to get her excited because every car dealership FAILED US. We had a vehicle to trade in but the battery would not hold charge. She Never missed a payment and continued to pay on it while the car still was not able to run. We were straight forward with Abraham telling him our situation. He looked at us and his exact words were to trust him and to give him the opportunity to help her and promised he would not give up. Well at the end of the day he did just that. He even offered himself to come look at the car we were trading at her apartment and not a single other dealership offered to. Him and his manager followed us home, looked at the car and while standing under the hood I can tell he saw the sadden in my nieces face. He told us to follow him back to his office and she was in good hands. He was honest, laid back and worked hours without giving up on her. His service was top of the line. Young man not only working to make a sale but to prove us wrong. People please do not post a shameful review unless you are expecting a new car. You come in to buy a car and probably had a hard time everywhere else. Without Abrahams knowing I was able to get in touch with the Owner of the company as well as his son I believe to let them know that the young man they have working for that company was more than just a sales person he was a blessing and an asset to that place at such a young age and motivated. He worked for us on that day. I thanked them and the lord sent us to see him. If he had 10 salesman that were identical to Abraham who knows where it would be. IF ANYBODY READS THIS. Horrible place of business I have had multiple issues with the vehicle I purchased from here and only had it 7 months. The check engine light has been on since day one and I took it in for repairs multiple times and they still couldnt fix it .I traded in two cars and 500 dollars down payment towards the purchase of the vehicle. But when I checked my paperwork I didnt get any trade in value for the second car I traded .I would highly NOT recommended this company to anyone. The service and sales department will give you the run around. Gary was our salesmen and he is never available. Hopefully they wont be around for long to steal people hard earned money. The sales price was 5 thousand and some change but after finance fees and tax it was 10 thousand. Im looking into legal action against them for fraud and misrepresentation. Please save yourself heartache and your money by not giving them your business. HORRIBLE PLACE OF BUSINESS WITH EVEN WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE. 0 STARS FROM ME, but i had to give it at least 1 they deserve none.

This is a great repair shop! Troy always has a smile on his face, they never overcharge or pad their repair estimates trying to get you to spend more than you need to. These guys are operating a legal but highly shady business, and will legally con you out of a vehicle and your money via contractual technicalities. Trust these reviews. They do not inform you of severe issues with the car, and only fix (incorrectly, at that) what needs to make the piece of junk run until the day your warranty is up. I will never buy another vehicle from this place ever again I definitely would not recommend this place to anyone! After only having my vehicle for two days I started having problems with my vehicle. Not only was I given the run around about fixing my car the owner did not want to put me in a loaner car so I could get back and fourth to work! I haven’t bought from this place, but I know someone who has. They bought a 2016 Ford Focus and it only ran for 3 months! Unfortunately, it was going to cost them a fortune to repair the motor. There was poor customer service involved. I wouldn’t recommend this place to someone who is looking to buy a car. Just go somewhere else and save your time and money.

Commuted from Chesapeake, Virginia for my nephew to help him start his search on a vehicle. The excellence of customer service that I received from my sales person was by far the best that I have ever had in the past 30 years. Bright smile and well presented. Although we did not purchase, this young man answered all of our 200 questions to the best of his ability. Salesman was polite but no middle ground for both parties to be satisfied...I believe in competitive prices but also I believe in the buyer opportunity to save money..When the price of the vehicle drop or a happy medium is met, I will definitely purchase the vehicle, until then I will continue to search around.

Nothing to say but wonderful things about this place. My sales person never gave up on me. It took right at about 2 weeks and stayed in touch with me at least every other day. I did not have any hope but he got me riding in the vehicle I was there for. I had patience and it got me what I wanted regardless of how long it took. They were so helpful putting me into a car i liked. And working with me. Anytime something goes wrong they are there to help. They have an awesome staff. The auto part is also amazing. The boys in the service department are really helpful. They know you. They remember names. If you are having trouble all you have to do is keep communication with them. And not be rude. They will bend over backwards to help keep you in your car. When I am ready for a trade or new car i will go through them. I absolutely love my car company. They truly are some of the greatest people i have come across.

Greenville motor company is a sorry excuse for an establishment. The car we received worked fine for 4 months. After the 4 month mark, the radiator had a hole in the front. In the beginning they told us that warranty covered everything until this happened. Then they backtracked n said that it only covered oil changes. So we had to go out of pocket for a new radiator; no problem, until the transmission started to slip. They provided no assistance with the matter and they still insisted that there was nothing they could do. Later on in the month, the motor company thought that we didnt have insurface and proceeded to turn of the car. When we tried to get the car turned they would not answer the phone at 6:15 even though they closed at 6:30. I shouldve known from the start that they werent a business worthy of being mentioned in the same breathe as even a someone who running a garage sale. The first time we bought the car the car was filthy and it was sold to us in that manner. We spent the whole night cleaning the car and still to this day it remains just a piece of scrap metal with wheels. I would never recommend them to anyone even if that person walked everywhere for what they needed. They would be better off with a bike then Greenville motor company. If I was able to give 0 stars I would gladly do so.

I took someone here just to pick up a vehicle and it turned into a complimentary oil change and ready in 15 mins to adding a GPS tracker and the entire time we were there was over 2 hours. I would never recommend this place to anyone and we are still waiting on the vehicle now as I give my experience. And this is so crazy cause they walk and smoke more than anything. Do not let them put a engine in your vehicle. I brought my Chevrolet to this dealership with hopes of treating my truck with a new engine , spent alot of money with this company doing so only to have problems with so many things since then. For one I didnt get my old engine back , Having coolant trouble now , brought it in about 4 months ago for leaking coolant and oil only to find out my oil pan was loose and a quick connection leaking coolant supposedly. Well now its leaking more coolant when it was supposedly fixed the first time and still leaking oil. Should not have issues with a motor with 70,000 miles , engine isnt heating properly I could keep going. But of course its not covered under warranty anymore. They fixed my catalytic converter and it went out after only 3 months and was under warranty , I called and it took him 3 weeks to return my call to let me.know it was covered but I had already fixed it out of pocket. Very unprofessional.Will be bringing it back once again to get my point across at how bad this service is. HEADACHE FOR SURE engine has only been in my truck for 3 years

I was very very pleased with my purchase. I traveled over an hour to purchase my vehicle by contacting my salesman through emailing back and forth. Although I do not display phone number I was very please with the young man emailing me and keeping in touch until I could make it to his place of work. 9 times out of 10 you will not get an email if your phone number is not displayed. I recommend this place for your used car purchase. Was very shocked reading some of these reviews but sometimes you can not please everyone. See Mr. Abraham or Joshua.

Best part test they sent the cart to hasting ford and had it “fixed” well soon as I got the car I called Hastings ford and asked what was done to the fusion. WOW they reset the computer and never fixed the problem. They get your money and claim they’re mechanics are just working so hard to fix it. Anyone can order parts and be a YouTube mechanic. I see i they can afford to have 5+ salesmen sitting around because once they have your money they avoid the customerat all cost. If I’m wrong, have WONDERFUL Tim call me but that’ll never happen. I was very very displeased. I have looked all over for one specific vehicle and came across that at this location. Junk cars or retail cars for sale? I know there are 2 or 3 more locations owned by the same gentleman. Appearance at this location very unmaintained. Going out of business or turning into Salvage lot yard? Employed with the city, appears that many violations have been broken with city codes, if this is an authorized used car dealer. On the bright side the vehicle looked great but did not trust my instinct with this place.

Every where I went today was a NO. Those guys there took care of me and helped me get a car for less than they priced and really cares about my situation. I am extremely happy I tried them. Go to Brian tell them Jamel sent you!

DO NOT PURCHASE A CAR HERE I am SERIOUS! Please, please, please NEVER WILL PURCHASE A CAR FROM here. I was 18 when I purchased my car with my step father. I kid you not 3 days after purchasing my car it started smoking. A month later the car broke down completely and I only drove to work which was 10 mins away. The General Manager, Tim, was very rude and disrespectful to me and in return we had a few chosen words on the phone. I can only discuss MY experience! When I went to the DMV they told me the car had been through a FLOOD. A FLOOD! Tim, if you are reading this I pray this dealership gets investigated.

Wow I’ve read these reviews and was wondering if this is the same service team that I have dealt with over four years! I can’t speak for anyone else but the service department At Greenville Motors has always been nothing but great! Instead of going to Raleigh I first take it to them. Having a Benz if their system can’t catch it they will get me in to import services which by the way serviced my BMW. The staff is great I have not had to wait and the service team especially Mr. Blount has always taken care of me... just called and made an appointment for service and Zack was on it. I’m truly sorry for those that had a bad experience and we are entitled to our opinions. If ever there were to be a bad experience I will definitely write that review!

Company sells cars that were exposed to flooding, including from out of state. Our vehicle had problems from onset, because of prior flooding from the onset. We reported to company and they stated it was sold as-is, but of course did not report the flooding issue, and upon VIN history we discovered it had been in flooding, but when it broke down some bad ole boy calls us and tells us that since we lived close to the beach, which is true, but we have not visited the beach one-tome nor was it exposed to flooding under our watch. Also, the crooks, immediately close the account on our credit report and then list it as closed for more than what we were scheduled to pay for it, the vehicle was about 5000 without financing, but they list 7000 to also defraud the IRS and NC on taxes for write-off purposes. If and when you experience thid do not call the local police, because of the unwritten connection between crooked businesses in those authorities, who will come up with excuses like we can not arrest a business, however, most people realize you can arrest the working in the business perpetrating these crimes. Thus the locals will not police their own, especially businesses that donate to the mayor and city council.Thus, please contact the FTC, and if you find your vehicle was already flooded and bought out of state, the FBI can have jurisdiction, which in spite of its problems, DOES ARREST PEOPLE IN BUSINESSES LIKE THIS WHEN THEY GET THESE REPORTS, and does not come up with the yocal excuse that THEY CAN NOT ARREST THE BUSINESS, especially when they are using some of there illegal profits to help the local authorities and etc.After we let them know the car had completely died, a local bad ole bay, of course under educated or uneducated academically, but well-versed in criminal fraud in the motor vehicle sales and defrauding state/federal tax authorities, calls us and accuses us of having exposed the vehicle to flooding, but a VIN check reveals it was involved in flooding, had been listed as totaled in another state, bought out of state and then shipped to the Greenville Motor company. THE vehicle was a buy here, pay here, BUT IT is a FELONY to resell totaled flooded vehicles, which of course was never reported to us, and an inter-state crime to then buy them out of state and bring them into another state, further, it it is even a crime that local authorities can also bring the charges even if flooded and totaled and sold even in NC. However, good luck with that one, these locals actually condone business crime, as they also profit from the obvious fraud. Once again, when your vehicle dies out, and you tell them to pick up the vehicle and you find out it was previously totaled because of flooding, expect a call from one of the yocals in the company to state that YOUR vehicle was involved in flooding, even though there is no evidence, but a thorough VIN check, of course they are engaged in deceptive practices, like hiding the true vehicle history report will reveal they SOLD YOU A FLOODED VEHICLE THAT they most likely purchased or originated from out-of -state and was purchased both knowing it was involved in flooding and that there scheme involves accusing the consumer of wrongdoing and then immediately writing the vehicle for both NC and US tax write-offs. Thus, you might want to consider contacting the IRS, and the NC state tax authorities. This is being sent to the FTC. Please remember to report these crimes, as the totality of crimes are considered when prosecuting these illegal criminal enterprises.

I normally do not write reviews, but because I am a very pleased customer I will. I started out dealing with East Carolina Auto Exchange. I bought 2 automobiles from there years ago and I never had a problem with either of them. I didnt realize that ECAE and GMC were connected when I initially went into GMC to get my truck worked on. While there for that I saw this truck I wanted and David made it happen with no problems and with payments I could afford. I have not had any problems with the truck since I have had it. And I just recently bought my daughter a charger from there (Glen) but unfortunately that car was having some issue within the same week. I love buying used cars and I know they will have some issues but not that soon. However, I spoke with Tim H. and he was more than happy to work something out with me to resolve the issues I had with her car. With that being said I would definitely buy from either lot if I want another car or just to trade off either of the ones I already have for another one. Thanks guys!!!

This place is horrible dont ever get a car from here. They charged me $8,000 for a car that was valued $3,000. Take your money else where its not worth it trust me. I will not go back with this money

I would not recommend anyone to buy a car from this dealer. When i first got my car the first place i had to go was to the gas station. They didnt not refill it nor detail clean it before selling. Now its been two and half months after buying the car and i already have to put in 600 dollars for leakage and lights blown. They act like they didnt even care while i explain my problems. These people is just trying to get a car sold, they dont really look into it before selling. My car was in the day before and they sold it to me the next day so there no way they actually taking their time to really look into the cars.

The place is a or part of an organized criminal enterprise, which is sadly ignored or condoned by local authorities. However, this is to be expected by a shoddy industry in a shoddy local government. Although they profit by this mutuality that does not make it right. Most likely the only recourse, and certainly not guaranteed, is to not bother contacting local authorities, and try to find a governmental institution not affiliated with these people, including the host of backwards Southern lawyers, almost corrupt or corrupted by there never changing politics dating back to at least the 1800s.Sad but true to decent folk, but of course the good ole boys encourage have for years and will no doubt go on for decades if not centuries. They work very hard to attack and target easy prey like these Greenville Motor Company Scam and fraud artists. When you get ripped off by them Make a complaint outside NC jurisdiction, because you are wasting your time in such a political derisive and institutionalized discriminatory state. Example the Hb2 state and on and on.

Do not buy a car from here. I bought a 2011 maxima and have had nothing but issues with check engine light. When I bought the car I ask for the carfax and the report they gave me was not accurate on the car. It showed one minor accident and thats all. I went to trade ithe car and the carfax at the new dealer showed the car had been hit all over and I literally mean all over. It showed 6 place on the report where the car was hit. When I called to ask questions the dealership act like they didnt care or had any concerns at all. Please if you want to get a good car dont not go to this dealership.

Too much run around and terrible service department. Had a Pontiac Grand Am 01 and the water pump went bad on it. I tried fixing it up but then got behind. What made it worst was when I first went there to see about a car they every other car they had that was a buy here pay here had some sort of issue whether it was running hot, knocking hard while running, or drove rough the entire time. Lets not forget to mentioned when I had my car in the service department they catch attitudes when you keep trying to check on the progress of you auto repairs. Overall if you can go elsewhere please do so. Dont believe me check every low rating and view the owners response to each of them.

I have a buddy that sales cars, me and my friend went and looked at a vehicle over there. Check engine light on and tire pressure light on. How in the world did that pass inspection? We asked the sales person how long they had the car and they said a few days.. Real shady! DMV needs to check them out place, looks like a salvage yard. I do NOT advise anyone there. The older sales person I spoke to was really nice but im sorry I feel really bad for that person to be working at a place like that.

My experience was a great one at first they were very much willing to work with me and my husband but after me and my husband decided to get a divorce and we separated I was stuck taking care of 3 kids alone and trying to make payments with them I paid what I could whenever I had money left from other bills then they came to cum get my car I wasnt home and I had no problem with them coming to get it because I knew I owed them and I called to set up payment arrangments and to make a payment 5 days later and they told me they would be coming to get my car in the morning I went to my car they took my key and locked all my car doors I could get my things out my grandpa got it opened for me and he asked me to move my car so he could cut the grass I knew another way to turn my car so I tried it but it didnt work I just told my grandfather he would just have to cut the grass the way it was I went in the house for a hr because I am pregnant and had an exhausting day job hunting I came outside to get my things out the car and my car was gone I have a lawsuit coming up and the evidence for the case was in the car and they took everything I mean they already had the key and im not a hostile person all I wanted was my things from the car so I called them and told them that I just want my things and that I did not want to make any payment arrrangements I had never been so upset in my life. I could careless for them taking the car because I knew I could have caught up on my payments in a wk or 2 but to take my things after telling me otherwise I will never recommend nor ever go to this place for a car ever again first time and last time they repossess my car and its sad because I have proof for my lawsuit case and I knew it was a case that I would have one offhand and I wanted to get another car with them and pay off mine wit my money but now they will never get my business nor be recommend every again. the car was beat to hell in the firstplace for 9000 the door locks were all broken off so wen sumone would accidentally lock the door it was annoying and hard to get the lock back up it was a 2006 with no power locks no power windows the clip was coming off the gear shifter I mean it def. wasnt worth 9000 but I need a family car at that time they sold my car a bmw where the electronic seat wont even work pathetic

Shady place, wouldnt trust anyone there. I went to look at an SUV on a display stand and the rear main seal was leaking oil. I told the car salesman and later that day they moved it down and beside the stand so no one would see it. I usually dont write reviews but its a shame since some poor guy is going to get ripped off with that SUV and have to fix it.
