The team at Midwest Dental Associates did an excellent job all around. Appointment setting by Kristin plus automated electronic reminders helped keep the appointment in front of us. Safe is an “excellent” dental hygienist and Dr. Martina Spelter is the “best!” The office is taking all the right steps to safeguard its staff and its clientele from Covid-19. The team is well prepared and capable of providing you with the finest dental care available today. That includes advice on preventative care and overall great service. First, I’d like to state that I attempted to resolve this issue ’in house’ w/ Midwest Dental Greenfield. However, my messages never go beyond the receptionist.Last year mid-summer, I visited this location to for a simple filling. Unbeknownst to me, my primary dentist, Dr. Deaton, retired. So the new dental doctor was completely new to me plus he didn’t introduce himself. I’d also like to point out that the ENTIRE staff left w/ Dr.Deaton which I found extremely odd. Fast forward to when the anesthesia subsided, I felt pain rush my teeth. I let the pain go on for about a week in half until I returned for a quick check up. Same dentist with the same rude attitude. I was prescribed a medicated mouthwash which helped only for awhile. I was never told what the issue was.Because of COVID it was difficult to make a third appt.Then a year later, I received a letter in the mail with new hours and a new face. Honestly, I was excited to return and meet with an alum. Sadly, it wasn’t what I’d hope it’d be.First, mid-summer I scheduled an appointment online explaining the exact situation above. I later receive a phone call from a receptionist stating that the dates and times chosen aren’t available. Completely understandable. The receptionist then proceeded to give me the available times which just didn’t work with my schedule. The receptionist said I’d receive a call back with additional times since she needed to check with Dr Spelter. I waited over a month and half. Eventually I called back myself, and was scheduled for 8/16 at 8am. The receptionist even knew what I was calling about prior to explaining, so she clearly knew who I was.Well…I get there at 8am and call into the office only to be told that there’s no appointment set for me at that time. All the receptionist could ask was if I was if I was certain of the location…. I was 110% certain of the time, date, and location because I took vacation time for it. I even had to ask the receptionist to double check her schedule for other dates and times with my name… She barely helped and barely wanted to despite NOT giving her an attitude. The receptionist didn’t check patient notes until I asked her to plus she never asked for my full name. I asked Ms Christine to provide the primary dentist with my information and noted that I wanted a response from her at the earliest convenience. Christine then responded with, ‘I don’t know when she’ll get back to you.’ All in all I wrote this to receive a response and to know what the issue is with my filling that keeps being avoided. I’m tired of making last minute or long term appointments only to be avoided

The doctor, hygienist, and other staff were knowledgeable, kind, and patient. Everyone made us feel welcome and cared for! We had a great experience bringing our children in for their first visit.

Had dental emergency and Dr. Spelter and staff were EXTREMELY accommodating! Got me in the next day and did not upswell anything! Caring and awesome staff. Highly recommend!

Well lets start that they werent concerned that my tooth and gums were swollen bad but i made an appointment w a dentist who cared about the severity of the problem. They wanted me to wait a week or two in August. I would have lost two more teeth and maybe my jaw. Good thing Thursday im getting it pulled.the root was rotted. Gave me antibiotics that lapsed the time of removal. Whats worse I called the wauwotosa clinic and it was on a different network. I asked you cant send an x ray? I recommend this place if you want to be worried or want to be treated like you dont matter.lol 1 star and will do buisness elsewhere. It was an emergancy and I wasnt treated like it was. Face was like a half softball. They have had 33 complaints the the bbb in the last 3 years. I see why. I will.never do buisness w them again or any of my family also.

Had an appointment after not going to the dentist for a very long time and everyone was super nice. I had my first cleaning with them and scheduled for teeth work to be done!

Ive been going here for the last 3 years and have always had a pleasant experience. The staff is very nice, patient when answering my questions, and welcoming. The hygienists are usually very good and caring. I just went in and the woman I had (I cant remember her name) was fantastic. Took her time, cared enough to ask how I was doing, didnt make it awkward by asking me questions when my mouth was wide open, and made me very comfortable. Highly recommend.

I had an incredible experience here! Everyone was very friendly and I was in and out in no time. I unfortunately needed to come in again for a cavity, but they were able to schedule me the next day. Filling the cavity was the quickest experience Ive had taking only 45 minutes at most and it was absolutely painless. Both the doctor and assistant worked as if theyd been doing this together for years.They treated me very well, I always felt informed and comfortable, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a Dentist.

Dr deaton is amazing!, very welcoming staff as well. I think what I like most is the way he explains everything about your care plan and walks you through to prepare and even asks if you are experiencing any discomfort during the actual dental work. Best dentist Ive seen in my life

Dr. Deaton is such a comforting, easygoing yet professional dentist. I don’t know ANYONE who says, “Yes, today I get to go to the dentist!” If you are that person, my apologies, but I do not know you! Usually, I’m happy to get my teeth cleaned or if I have a toothache then I need the service but I’m not excited. Anyway, Dr. D knows his business and has oodles of empathy!

I needed a dentist and quick, most wouldnt take my insurance, some had really bad reviews, finally, I found Midwest Dental, in Greenfield. They were very nice, soft spoken and even though they were running behind a bit, they were nice about it. I will be going back.

I really love this place and actually look forward to my appointment. Mollie is so caring and patient and makes sure you are comfortable with every step in the process from taking of your blood pressure to taking X-rays to the actual cleaning itself. All around it is a great experience.

Just moved here and found the best dentist ever. Havent been to a dentist in years due to fear of what my teeth would show on the X-rays Mollie was courteous, polite, and made all my stress go away! Definitely going to refer my family and friends to Midwest Dental!

They did a very good job. I felt no pain while they were drilling away at mo mouth. You even get free chap stick at the front desk. I am going back for a cleaning in November. Hopefully that is as good as my first experience having work done. :)

Excellent Dentist & Awesome Dental Hygienist! I am extremely fortunate to have found Dr. Deaton after relocating to Greenfield, Wisconsin. I was in need of a dentist, as I had not been in a few years, and I definitely lucked out. I was in need of several fillings and a root canal, I was afraid, but I felt no pain during my root canal! Therefore I highly recommend Midwest Dental, to anyone who may be afraid of having dental treatment. Dr. Deaton is exceptional, he explains the treatment while working on my teeth, and is available and interested in my questions regarding oral care. Liz at the front desk is a gem, and a wealth of information, and Mollie the Dental Hygienist, is amazing as well, definitely three of the best teeth cleanings Ive ever had. :)

Ive been going to this dentist office for more than 3 years and I must say Ive never been as comfortable going to the dentist as I am here. Dr. Deaton is absolutely the best at working on you without pain- and Im a big scaredy-cat when it comes to dentists. Give them a try if youre looking for experience and a gentle touch.

Dr. Deaton and his staff did a fantastic job! During my appointment, Dr. Deaton explained what he was doing at all times, so there was never any uncertainty. I would never go to a different dentist!

I started coming to Midwest Dental years ago - before I started here I disliked going to the dentist - it was uncomfortable and sometimes painful. Not here. The care and procedures are great and coming here is like seeing family.

This place is full of unprofessional and rude people. They mess up things and dont even say sorry for that. Such a rude bunch of people who will say so what even after their mistake. I scheduled my sons dental appointment 6 weeks before the actual date of appointment, they kept sending me messages about the appointment and one day before called to cancel it because of some stupid employee left. I had my own appointment with them which I eventually cancelled myself in protest to their unprofessional and rude behavior. Will never recommend to anyone. Unfortunately cannot give less than one star, there is no option for that.
