This is the best dental experience ive ever had. From the receptionist, dental assistant, and dentist- each receive 5 stars. Customers service and service was outstanding. I have shared my experience with so many of my friends and family. They ask for the names and actually took pictures of my leaflet. I am so happy I chose this dental service. Please do your homework when choosing a dentist but this you wont be disappointed.

I have been visiting this office for about 10 years . There have been a few changes but the changes are good. I love the COVID protocols in place, I feel safe. Lydia is very customer service friendly and accommodating. I went for a cleaning and Alice was great, no pain. Sandy is also great. I will keep referring new patients.

They did an excellent job of explaining what I needed done and why I needed it. They helped me develop a treatment plan in line with my budget. The procedures I have had performed were well done as near as I could judge.

I am literally scared to death of dentists and it took a lot for me to even make the appointment to take care of a very painful gum disease problem. I was made to feel very comfortable from the time I walked in. The person at front desk was courteous and reassuring, also very knowledgeable about my insurance and what they would cover etc. The tech that saw me was very patient with me and I know I was difficult because I was scared and in pain. Then I saw the dentist who was very kind but realistic and reassuring that he could help me. I actually made my next appointment already! Last but not least they answered all my questions about Covid precautions and practiced all safety measures. I highly recommend this practice especially if you have a fear of dentists, they actually get it!

I’ve been a patient for over 15 years. The front desk representative, Lydia is awesome. The office has COVD-19 protocols in place, i.e. taking temperatures, requiring patient hand washing, limit of one patient in the waiting room. Also the waiting room is free of magazines and clean. I had my teeth cleaned and was in and out in less than hour.

I had an appointment on August 6, 2020, for a cleaning. Alice is their hygentist. They have taken great measures to protect both their patients and themselves from Covid-19. Alice was wearing so much protective gear I wondered how she managed to get through her work day. She and the entire staff are extremely professional and kind. I consider them my friends.

My experience at Greenbelt Dental Associates is the absolute best. I have been going there for over 20 years, first with Dr. Allen (now retired), and now with Dr. Emma Galvan and Dr. Karl Meek. You will not be disappointed. They both are experienced dentists who know their business, and they insist on only the best standards in the office. I referred a friend recently who had some major dental issues, and my friend is very pleased with the services she is getting in this office.In addition, all the staff members are incredible. Lydia is always great and my lovely lady who cleans my teeth (forgot her name). Is the best in the business of getting rid of your plaque. Love them like family.The dentist is the best! She is patient and knows how to handle my stress when I sit in that chair. I love her.

Office is dirty and poorly managed. What it says on the box is not whats inside! I have been a patient here for awhile but I feel I should have been looking for a new dentist when the old dentist left.There is misrepresentation in this office on who provides which treatment. When I come to see a dentist, I expect that she will see me for basic and advanced procedures and do regular check up. But do not expect this here. This office has selective approach on what you can get from each doctor but they are not upfront about it. The fact is, Dr. Galvan does not take new patients in a usual sense I mention above. But they wont tell you this when you come in for the first time and she does very little. Classical bait and switch.You wont see Dr. Galvan beyond your first visit. They charge you and then they are incapable of doing the most basic procedures like a canine extraction.Unless you come in for a (cash) expensive procedure do not expect anything from Dr. Galvan. You will be redirected to one of her younger and less experienced temp dentists. Even seeing Dr Galvan who is exceptionally bad and worked here only for a few months is useless.Unfortunately, nowadays the office staff incessantly tries to outsource all general dentistry procedures to temps or refer you outside.I got a filling and a crown with Galvan and I have been in terrible pain and their number was completely unresponsive over the weekend. She referred me outside for a simple extraction. This is simply the most terrible dentist I have even seen in 49 years.

They checked your temperature before they take you in. The place look clean and they are very aware but to let anyone touch anything without gloves or paper towel. The staffs are nice and pleasant !

Lets face it, I hated my teeth with a passion. Ive had numerous dental visits with past dentists patching up my teeth and never really fixing anything properly, plus that discomfort and no real direction. I finally got the chance to do things right and glad I found Dr. Allen. Shes got a great personality, expresses real care and concern while repairing the patch jobs and improved my smile ten-fold. For the first time in my life I feel like I can truly smile again and I get lots of compliments. I know I still have a bit more to do, but Dr. Allen and her awesome, friendly staff have got me in the right direction. Word of caution, she is sneaky with that Novocain needle thing, and you have to expect some pain, but it was far less pain than other dentists have done to me. I guess this is the first time Ive actually had a pleasurable experience at the dentist. As for cost, I wanted the best dental care, and for the price its worth it. They lay out all costs so I can see what my insurance covers and it matches with what my plan says itll cover, so I havent had any surprises with that.

Typically I do not review anything, but I will say if you car about timing and cleanliness in the least...DO NOT GO HERE. I am a frequent dentist persona dm just loved to this area. I have been in braces twice and consistently keep up with cleanings. This dentist office looks like a janitorial supply office with broken down dental equipment. Front desk is very kind, hygienist was nice but very unorganized and slow, the dentist told me I had cavities and then walked out. I’m not sure who is giving 5 star reviews because you clearly have never been to a real dentist before. Just like my business you need to atleast fake that you like your job. Also the cleaning lasted an hour a half so don’t come in your lunch break. Good luck!

Dr. Farnoush Allen has been my dentist for a great number of years. She and her staff are highly qualified, up-to- date professionals. Their office in Greenbelt, Maryland, is equipped with the latest in dental technology.Lydia and Prisca, Dr. Allens front office staff, welcome me upon my arrival. Alice, the hygienist, gives excellent, thorough cleanings, including polishing and flossing. After each exam, Dr. Allen explains my X-rays and makes her recommendations for my treatment. She wants me to retain my beautiful smile. Dr. Allen and her staff treat everyone with sensitivity, warmth and friendliness. So much so, I often joke with them to wake me up when my dental prodecure is completed. I feel that at ease with them. Dr. Allen and her staff have become my friends; I dont hesitate to give each of them a hug when I leave thier office. Worst dentist ever since the management changed! This horrible dentist ruined my life. I cannot eat any more ever since she worked on me. Unless they get your insurance info, the appointment isnt booked: cannot review the quality of the actual dental work because the receptionist didnt even book my appointment anymore! The doctor is never available for emergencies. The emergency number is not available. Booked it a whole month in advance BY PHONE and they said that it was never booked. Absolutely ridiculous after a month of suffering. Would recommend calling to confirm that they havent lost your appointment. Email too.Made the call on Nov. 6 for new patient (my bad, I told her Nov 2 just now) for Dec. 6. Left name and number too.. according to them, unless they get your insurance info, the appointment isnt booked.

I went to this dental office after a root canal to get my filling replaced,when I got in the back the dentist came and told me that my insurance didnt cover my procedure and told me that the cost was $319.00 but she was only going to charge me $198.00 for it.I paid the money,after the procedure was over I called my insurance company and inquired about the procedure and was informed that my Insurance Company covered the procedure 100%.I went back into the office and informed them that they lied about my insurance company not covering the procedure and I want my money returned.The dentist didnt come out to talk to me about my refund.All I want is my money back.When I returned home I called the Better Business Bureau to file a complaint.I just want my refund of $198 and they could have avoided all this drama.A very unsatisfied patient!!!!!Think of how many more people they have done like this!!!!!!!

I have been Dr Farnoush Allens patient for over 10 years. And SHE is an excellent dentist. She is both the primary provider and the sole owner of the practice. I dont know who Rajesh is talking about. I think he is confusing some other MALE dentist from another practice with Dr Farnoush Allen. She has had male associates but none them of have the power or authorization to quote or misquote procedure code fees. Dr Allen does a great deal of free dentistry to needy patients. She also has a life time guarrantee on most of her procedures. As far as the insurance estimate goes Rajesh should report Dr Allen to the Maryland Insurance commission if he has evidence that she does not follow his insurance fee schedule. In any case, the patient is expected to already know his own insurance fee schedule, so there is no question of quotes.

I really love this dental office! The professionalism at Greenbelt Dental is outstanding. As soon as I arrived I was greeted by Lydia who is very nice and professional. Dr. Gavin was very gentle and made sure that I was completely comfortable before and during my bridge work, and her assistant Sandy was so nice and professional.
