Today was the first time I got my hair colored/cut in YEARS. I was very nervous to get something new but Miranda did an awesome job on my hair! I highly recommend this place for anything, couldn’t be happier with my hair :)

Ive been going to this location for about 2 years. The staff is welcoming and very attentive to my needs. Their professionalism has been great even during COVID. I get a haircut and it takes about an hour or less each time, so I really appreciate them being prompt with my appointments too. A parking lot was added recently that also makes it easy to find a place to park so I can get in and out.

My first experience was great! Went to get a touch up on my nails and myself and another customer were waiting with no front desk person for 10 minutes after our appointments were supposed to begin to ask what we needed. The tech took me back 15 minutes late with no apology for the tardiness. Then because she started my appointment late, her other client arrived on time and she rushed to finish mine. I had to return once I walked out to have a small detail fixed because I was having engagement photos taken the next day. Myself and the other lady waiting with me both decided we will not be returning.

Super nice and they cared about the healthiness of my hair. I went in with fried hair and came out with beautiful silky hair. I love this place and the people who work here.

My review is a little late, but I needed some time to write this review. I honestly wish I could give this studio more than 5 stars. I moved to Greeley over a year ago and havent had my hair cut in over 2-3 years. I was super hesitant about many places up here because I dont know the area well. I am very protective per se about how my hair is cut. In the past I have had very troublesome experiences along with family members of mine that make it hard for me to trust anyone with my hair. I initially contacted this studio with concerns I had about my hair and about my weight because I am a bigger person and dont expect places to accommodate me so I ask ahead of time. I also voiced my concerns with my hair. I believe I got a response from the owner. She was super kind a reassured me that they would take care of me. I was super nervous the day of my appointment and had to have a friend help me get there because i was trying to convince myself not to go (lol). I got there and was immediately greeted and taken in by Blake. She listened to what I wanted and did exactly that, nothing more. I didnt feel pressured to do anything I didnt want like layers or cutting it shorter than I asked and she was amazing. Such a loving personality and a great smile! Im a shy person so I didnt talk much which I feel bad for, but I never felt uncomfortable. My hair is shorter than it has been for a little while and I cant even begin to thank Blake and the Studio Owner for the amazing experience. I am more than pleased with the service here and the friendliness of the staff as well as the great work done by my stylist. I would have tipped Blake more than I did, but I hadnt prepared for such amazing services. I know I didnt do much with my hair besides cut it and thin it out, but she honestly deserves so much praise! It was quick and easy and I am excited to go back in and get the rest of my dead hair cut off. Ive gotten so many compliments about my hair from friends and family. I would absolutely recommend this studio to anyone looking for a great haircut. Thank you so much Illuminations!

I was referred to Illuminations after a recent move from Florida. Kristin and her team made the appointment process easy and worked with my schedule. I met with Miranda, and she styled my hair. I didnt even have to use my old formula because I felt so comfortable with her professionalism and awesome personality. Love my hair and that I found my new salon here in Greeley!

I have been seeing Carissa for a year now for cuts and she’s always been fantastic. Last night I had her color my hair for the first time and she absolutely blew me away!! I have red hair and this is the first time someone has been able to color my hair right the first time. I went for a sunflower inspiration and she did such an amazing job! She is friendly, punctual, and makes me feel so comfortable in her chair. I highly recommend her as a stylist!

Wow! Wow! Wow! Used illuminating studios for my wedding party for hair and makeup. Not only did they do a fantastic job but they were a delight to work with. Also had a problem with one of the wedding party not showing up and even though i know she could easily make a case to charge me for the no-show, she didn’t. And everyone looked absolutely stunning! Highly, highly recommend!

I have been looking for a talented colorist to begin my journey back to platinum for over a year now but was nervous to take the leap. I made an appointment at Illuminations with Blake. Not only did she get me in sooner but my first blonde session was fabulous!!!! She is an artist for sure! No one will ever touch my hair again!Not only was Blake amazing but the atmosphere there was warm and welcoming. Everyone has great conversation with you and its truly something when you can tell the staff is like a family. If you need the perfect salon...this is it!

Please read full review!I nervously booked an appointment in the hopes Id find myself a new salon locally to me. I booked with a level 1 stylist believing Id be in good hands as Greeley has this salon ranked as one of the best! This excitement quickly deflated as I was checked in and my stylist did not even introduce herself to me or seem the slightest happy to be there. Small conversation over what Id like with a picture in tow and nothing much more was said about my hair. I was left with a very awful balayge, uneven haircut, horrible toning job and hardly any real opportunity to take it in before leaving. I graciously tipped her for the time, but sadly very disappointed and will not ever return.UPDATE: I appreciated the prompt response from CFO Wayne in reaching out within 24 hrs of my negative review with a voice-mail left appearing to sound sincere in making things right! Sadly, Ive returned calls to the salon with no response and have not received a call back from anyone in over 48 hrs. I will not hold my breath and only hoped to have received a refund. In the future I hope your stylist are truthful in their mistakes to the customer and try to their best moving forward.Final Update: After speaking with Wayne and feeling heard about what happened I felt it was only best to let one of their best fix my hair. Carissa went above and beyond to get my hair right and I greatly appreciated her professionalism and care. The owner of Illuminations went out of her way as well to make sure they could reimburse me with some products to keep my new hair cared for. I walked out of that salon feeling very differently after my first experience. This is a studio that does truly care about its customers.

Ive hopped around a few hair salons over the past few years (mostly because Ill follow after my fav hair stylist - Illuminations Studio being her latest stomping grounds) but the company and the business as a whole is super pleasant and kind.The studio is beautiful and spacious enough your dont feel packed together like a can of sardines while cut hair flies everywhere.The massage therapy (though I have never personally tried) is apparently really good.My fav part is of course my hair stylist. Jenny is the best!

If you’re looking for a relaxing salon experience illuminations studio is the place to go. I have been getting my hair done here for over a year by a couple different stylists and I’ve always come out feeling refreshed! Carrisa is my stylist now and she really listens to what I’m wanting, She is precise with her cuts and always makes sure I know how to keep my hair healthy until my next visit. She is very knowledgeable and provides a wonderful experience from start to finish. This salon always has complimentary coffee and water, comfy chairs, a great selection of professional products, and several different services are offered all in one place. The staff is welcoming and the salon is beautifully decorated for that ‘at home cozy’ feeling rather than your typical chain salon. It truly is a one stop shop for all of your self pampering needs.

Had a great haircut and color session with Tayler Schledlewitz and it was fabulous. Really styled and thinned out my crazy hair a bit more than any other hairstylist and the color is perfect.....love the purple highlights! Nice brand new place full of busy estheticians, nail techs and hair stylists. Give Tayler at Illuminations a try! Shes awesome...
