I’ve been a customer of Ron’s since I’ve moved into Great Falls and they’ve saved me time and money each year on maintenance and water fees. Excellent service, on time, and professionalism each and every spring/fall without fail.

Had 4 valves replaced, was told it would be a one man job for a few hours. Two guys come out for the work on a Friday, took 3 hours, I supplied the valves. Got bill for $500 (yikes). Test system the following day and there is a leak and one zone wont shut off. Call for a follow up, told I would get a call on following Tues to reschedule; did not get call. Finally got guys out on Thurs, one of which was tickled to death he could bill me for finding out the leak was an existing problem and was super rude. Keep in mind one zone would not shut off from previous work, so they would have had to come out anyhow. Second crew was on site maybe 45 minutes. What happened to businesses finding a problem and fixing it without trying to stick it to you? Guy was questioning me like he was a special investigator about the leak, roundabout implying that I knew it was there before the other crew worked on the valves. Got another bill for $80 for them fixing the pre-existing leak near the valve box the first crew worked on. Overpriced, unprofessional, and rude; will try Greenup or Dustys in the future. $580 to replace 4 valves (hardware provided) and patch up one leaky joint near the valve box. I need to get in the sprinkler business!

Steer clear of Ron Hall Sprinklers! We used Ron Hall Sprinklers after getting several recommendations to blowout our sprinkler system last fall. This spring we go to turn it back on that the pipe is cracked from residual water being left inside. Per Ron Hall they guarantee their blowouts so I called to have them fix it. They estimated it would take 2 weeks to get someone out and the man I spoke with was adamant we had a leak. I asked when tech shows up he come to the door first so we can look at it together as when they blew out the sprinklers they didn’t notify me they were there, I heard them outside after they started and wanted to witness the work being done start to finish. I should note pipe was bone dry when we found it, if there was a leak we would have likely still saw some evidence. Nearly three weeks later I get a call that someone would be by the following day between 1-2pm to look at it. Around 12pm the following day I saw their work truck pull up and immediately go to the side of the house without informing me they were there. I went out to meet the technician and he agreed that the pipe was cracked due to water inside but also saw no evidence of a leak and happened because of a ‘bad blowout’. He repaired everything and I asked that before he left he wait until I turned the water and system on to make sure there were no underground problems. I couldn’t do this prior to the repair because water would just spew out the cracked pipe. While I test everything I over hear a phone conversation regarding billing for parts. I asked why I’d have to pay for parts when had it been done correctly the first time I would not have needed them. Doug said it wasn’t up to him but agreed it should be no charge. Today I received a bill for $50 not to repair or for parts, no charge there, but to check out the system. The system that I checked out while the tech stood there on the phone. I assume this was some way to recoup funds for their mistake. They also wrote on the invoice ‘We are not sure how this happened unless the system was accidentally charged back up’. Why would I pay to have my system blown out for the winter only to turn it back on? According to other reviews this isn’t the first time they’ve done a bad blowout and caused issues. Do yourself a favor and pick a different company. Had I know I’d be charged $50 for him to stand there while I did the work I would have told him to leave and called again if there was an issue.Response to the reply:I did call and got no where, the man answering your phones was very rude and wasted 10 minutes of my time trying to point fingers. I can’t drop everything and run to your office when your hours are the same as my work hours.

Called and asked to have my sprinkler system repaired and tuned. When I turned on my sprinkler system on to verify my it was completed in my back yard one head was shooting right up in the air because it was still broken and two were spraying directly on my house into two of my basement windows. I called the office and they said they would send someone over and fix it. I came home from work to find two of the sprinklers still spraying on my windows and side if he house. I had to fix it myself. Absolute garbage. Could of caused significant damage to my house. Ive never wrote a review in my life online. Thought Id share this with you so you dont get taken from this shotty operation.

Where to start…Well last year I had them install a sprinkler system in my back yard, due to the fact I just didn’t have time or I would have done it myself. So I called them up got a quota and a layout of how my system would be. Everything looked good with the layout and plans and then they came out to install the system. I know I don’t live in the best part of town with the clay/mud ground, but they got the whole system in the ground and running. I got home and looked on the side of my house and WOW, the line they ran down the side where they cut the grass up and laid it back down was like a trench and still is. So now I have a trench next to my house and the water will just build up and run down the side of the foundation(So that will be another project of mine to fix), then to the back yard and all the sprinkler heads they installed. I think they over did it, because after I had gotten everything running I have at least 5 of them shut off because it floods my backyard now (and that’s only running the system for 6 mins on 3 zones in the back). Along with the backyard flooding my hole where the system is was leaking and filling up with water. So I called them to come out and fix that and told them about the trench and they said they would send someone out to fix the value system but couldn’t get to the grass till next year. They came out I guess just tightened one of the screws tighter and ya it still leaks. So I called again said you need to fix this and could blow out my sprinklers since it was getting to be fall. He said “we will fix it next year for me since its still under warranty and they would call me when they were going to come out to blow out the sprinklers”. I said “ok” and a week later some guy shows up no phone call or anything and I was out of town to blow out the sprinklers. Lucky my wife was home so they could shut off the valve in the crawl space. So issue after issue, I called this year 2015 Mid-April said I need my system turned on. They said ok it’ll be a week and half out. Figuring they would show up when they said they would, so I decide to buy sod to finish my backyard!! 2 weeks later nothing, then finally on Friday I get a phone call saying they would be here Monday at 9o’clock and if I wasn’t going to be there to call them!! Well I’m here, still sitting at my house and hour later waiting on them? I would never recommend these guys to install or blowout/restart your system. Im still under warranty and having to spend my own money to fix the pipes and the trench. Ya worst service ever!!
