Needed some work done so I reached out and requested a quote. At the start they were very friendly and sent someone out quickly. After I showed them what I needed done I was told I would receive a quote in the next day or so. It has now been almost 4 weeks I still havent heard anything and when I reached out I got no response. In the time its taken them to give me a simple quote I got another company out here to quote and do the work all within 5 days of me calling them.I would not recommend Aspen unless you want to be waiting around for a response.

Weve had Aspen doing our landscaping for over 10 years. They also built a beautiful fire pit for us. Courteous, reliable service speaks volumes in these days. Steve and Todd are always available for consultations or in the event of an emergency, merely a call away. The guys who work for them are always so friendly and professional. We use Aspen for EVERYTHING! They mow and edge the lawn, weed all beds and trim shrubs as needed on a weekly basis. They also do 2 major clean-ups a year (spring and fall) They designed and installed a whole side yard remodel for us, as well as, planting close to 100 plants, bushes and trees. They are actually less expensive than smaller companies we have used in the past! Incredibly professional and prompt. We couldnt be happier.

We had a great overall experience with Steve and his team. We were looking for guidance on how to redo the majority of our existing landscaping, and Steve was quickly able to provide a rendering with his visions. Within weeks after that initial meeting, the rendering was brought to life promptly. It was a good experience from us from start to finish, and we would absolutely use them again.

I just used Aspen Landscapes for about the 50th time and they once again delivered big time. I had them install about 3 ton of stone around my garden edges and do some lawn repair. I notice a lot of my neighbors have stone walls that go up and down, but I still have stone walls that Aspen installed 18 years ago remaining straight as an arrow. We did not use Aspen Landscaping when we first moved to the area, but I really wish we did. In 2018 we switched to Aspen Landscaping to get quotes on doing our spring and fall clean ups, and to get quotes on mulch. The office staff was terrific to deal with - courteous and quick to get back to us when we had a question. We have not been disappointed with the team that they send to do our clean ups - on time and friendly and they do a great job!

I have a lot of family in Libertyville and Aspen Lanscapes services my house , my mothers house and my daughters house. Recently Todd came up with an incredible patio design for my daughter and the crew that installed it was fantastic. Luis was the crew chief on the patio job and he was a real craftsman and totally personable. The design came quickly and installation followed suit.My mother is 93 and Steve takes care of her with great patience and care. From the the simple maintenance of lawn care to the most elaborate design work, Aspen and their crew are the best Ive worked with in Lake County.

We hired Aspen Landscapes and completely regret it. They are absolutely the worst to deal with. To add to that we bought garden soil for planting and they provided some of the worst soil I have seen. The soil that they used was full of rocks and clay. Its as if they went to a construction zone to pick up the soil. Do yourself a favor and learn from our mistakes. Recommend looking elsewhere for your landscaping needs.

I have used Steve and the team at Aspen for several large projects in the past two years (we also use Aspen for our weekly maintenance and spring/fall clean-up and shut down). We live on a lake, and in addition to solving some persistent drainage issues in the front and the back of the house, they installed a beautiful beach area with retaining walls. When rainfall kept washing away parts of the beach in the spring, they came up with a way to redirect the water flow. They stand behind their work. They really listen to what youre trying to accomplish, and come up with creative ways to get it done (and theyre not afraid to tell you if one of your ideas isnt practical). Our front and back landscaping looks so much better since weve used Aspen. The crews are great, and are very reliable. Will use Aspen for all of our large and small landscaping needs!

We hired Aspen for two separate jobs.A landscaping job and regular lawn maintenance.It took awhile to connect with the rep who quoted everything. But once we got started contact was pretty easy.They do an amazing job on weekly maintenance. I like how you can pay online.Also, my neighbors love the transformation of my back yard!! So do I!! I love looking out to my former mud pit and seeing a gorgeous and calm shade garden. The workers were on time and worked incredibly hard. My yard is on a very steep slope. Aspen installed a large retaining wall along the side of our property and completed it a day before the major rainfall this summer in Libertyville. Although it didnt initially hold up well during the heavy storm, they handled the issue in a completely thorough and professional manner, and without negotiation. No bandaid approach was taken to rectify the problem. It is now better and stronger than ever.As our neighbors lawn was affected during construction, Aspen made every effort to protect and replace areas of it to restore it to its original condition. The crew also did an excellent job of cleaning up after their work at the end of each day.I recommend Aspen Landscapes and will use them for future projects.
