This is my go to hardware store. They always seem to have everything I need, and the staff is always pleasant and willing to help with anything they can.

All the staff are extremely helpful every time I go! One man walked around the store with me helping to find all the items on my list. It would have taken me an hour without his help! Everyone is friendly!

We went to Gray True Value for the first time to rent a lift. The staff was so friendly and knowledgeable. We had just adopted a puppy and brought her in the store. Everyone stopped her and welcomed her.They took the time to show us how to operate the lift. Helped us get it hooked up to our truck. Prices were phenomenal. They have our business. We will use them for sure when we need to rent any equipment.

Very helpful and friendly but the more than six people working on Saturday, June 13 were not wearing masks. Felt unsafe.

Wouldve been five star until I looked at my reciept and noticed they charged me $30.00 for a gallon of premixed gas the same ones home depot sell for $16 and ace for 19.

No matter what I need, they seem to have the products and knowledge. Sometimes I am not sure about how to repair something on my own, like a rusted tank bolt on my toilet but the very funny, smart gentleman walked new through the parts and process and in less than an hour $12.00 later success!Whenever I need a repair part or to get home goods this is the best place in town. I dont feel there are many businesses left today that have hard working polite staff, this place does. They always go above and beyond. I highly recommend this hardware store, if they dont have what you need they will help you find it!

We were dealing with a particularly bad plumbing issue and replacing a toilet. Dennis helped us out considerably directing us to the type of equipment to use and what protective gear to have, gave us discarded cardboard and plastic wrap from the dock area. He knew what we were up against, and he was a huge help in making sure that we knew how to use the equipment too. Very knowledgeable and nice to have encouragement for this job especially when we had to go back another time to get a different part. Wicked helpful!

Great people who know their stuff!

Maybe bad timing, but my experience was not pleasant. Guy mixing paint was rude and annoyed. Prices are higher than True Value in South Portland by $11/gallon for same product.
