Best kayaking experience ever!We had an extremely fun experience with Steve. He is skillful, patient and very friendly to us. We had a group of 20 people and he managed to lead us the entire trip. Most of us are beginner levels, some even fell into the water. Without him we wont know how to get back to shore lolThe communication before the trip is also very efficient. He gave us clear direction and very accommodating.His price is very reasonable as well. We highly recommend him to anyone wanna kayak in grapevine / DFW area.

Excellent!!! There were about 20 of us went kayaking last Saturday. The guide was super professional, patient, and kind. Bottles of water were prepared for each of us, and he taught us how to kayak before starting. He also went with us and made sure none of us were out of his sight and we had a wonderful time. There were two of us who unfortunately fell into the water and he helped them came back to the kayaks smoothly without scolding them. We pay when we finished the trip. Highly recommend!!!

My friend and I went kayaking for the first time today and Steve was wonderful. As potential kayak buyers, Steve was very helpful in providing his knowledge of what is good and what isnt. His instruction is very quick and simple. I definitely felt like a pro after the tour. I highly recommend Discover Kayak if you want to tour lake Grapevine and try something new. I will definitely be going back to Steve for future tours and for his kayak classes once I purchase my own.

It was a greater experience than I possibly could have imagined!! Steve was a great instructor. He set us up with the appropriate equipment depending on level of expertise from beginner on. The weather was so perfect 🥰 couldnt have been planned. The workout worked for everyone in attendance. Thanks Steve. Will definitely return! Everyone felt comfortable and at ease with the physical requirements of the tour. I was glad that I opted not to take my 11 year old grandson. He wouldnt have made it on his own. However, possibly on a 2-man kayak!

Did the evening 5p guided tour with Steve and it was great! A few days before the tour, he sent out a thorough email with directions, what to expect and logistics info. Upon arrival he greeted everyone cheerfully and got everyone in the water and underway. Throughout the tour he did a great job giving some tips on kayaking, pointed out wildlife and checked in on everyone to make sure they were having a good time. It was a great way to spend a hot summer evening - highly recommend!

Best kayak experience my lady and I have done, Steve taught us safety, helped others of the group, and was very much prepared for everything from towing another boat to providing water bottles for anyone who needed it.Beautiful scenery and a must do in the future.

I had only kayaked once over a decade ago but Steve is great with his instruction and I was paddling around the lake with confidence. Cant wait to do one of his tours.

Amazing experience! I have never been kayaking before! Me and my boyfriend went for the first time today, and the instructor made it so easy to learn! He was friendly as well. The view is just gorgeous! I will definitely be returning! I would recommend bringing exact change, it made the payment easier!

We recently took a class with Steve. It was an amazing experience. He was so thorough and knowledgeable that he made it easy to learn. This was a great way to get my introduction to kayaking. Steve was a great guide and teacher. If you are hesitant to try kayaking like I was, dont be! It was a lot of fun and much easier than I had anticipated thanks to the wonderful direction we were given before we got on the water. I highly recommend it!

I loved discover kayak. This was my first kayak experience and Steve took care of everything very well. The shore we visited was beautiful with some wild flowers blooming. I wud love to visit it next time in the evening to see the birds and sunset. I am recommending this place to everyone for reasonable rates too. Its fun and wonderful experience!

Been twice and booking a third. Great experience and my daughter loved it too!

We called Steve last minute and he was able to work us on that same day for a trip. He has quite a few kayaks. Steve is friendly and guides you along the shore while pointing out animals like the golden beaver and the blue Herron. My wife and I were both 1st time kayakers and our children barely knew what a kayak is. However Steve had us going in minutes. Patiently adjusted or paddling technique and made our easy and fun. Definitely recommend this excursion.
