I cannot say enough good things about this shop! They were amazing to work with and so professional. I was in town visiting when my battery decided to quit. After going to one place and being told only certain shops could work on my car, a Mitsubishi, because of how parts lay on the battery, I called to see if they could work on my car and they not only said they could but said to come in now and they could get me fixed up and on the road. They tested the old battery twice to make sure it was truly needing to be replaced, explained everything they were doing, and had me back on the road in 30 minutes. If I lived closer they would be the only place to work in my car ever again!! Cannot thank them enough or say enough good things about these guys!

Everyone was so friendly and helpful from the moment I got there. Grapevine Ford referred me to them due to their long wait times. They were very professional and efficient. The not only drove me home but then dropped off my car after an extremely thorough diagnostic of my hybrid. Christian Brothers will now be my first choice instead of going to the dealer.

They came and picked up my van and changed the oil and filter checked to make sure all the hoses were in good shape and checked to make sure it was still in aliment because I had bought new tires. Everything was in good shape so all I had to pay for was the oil and filter changed. They also let me know about standard maintenance issues that will need to be done thats required by the manufacturer. Then they brought my van back to me.The best customer service you could ever ask for. Ill keep using them. What a blessing they are

The good:- Christian Brothers got me in within a day - the diagnostic was done thoroughly - great communication throughout starting with putting the order in the system - very commendableThe not so good - prices are not the best you can find around - I was quoted $130 for diagnostic on the phone, but in the shop they presented me with $180 bill!?!Yes, after I protested firmly they corrected the price as promised. But the frustration is because in the shop they explained the higher price with thats an import though on the phone I asked multiple times for specific brand and model... They did save their face though by honoring the phone quote.

My vehicle starting issue was diagnosed and fixed quickly. The things I really enjoy about Christian Brothers include: Frequent text to let me know what is going on. A complete diagnosis was emailed to me. Free shuttle service to and from my house and friendly service through the entire service. This made my experience at Christian Brothers really stand out from other shops Ive been to in the past.

We generally trust Christian Brothers. I brought my truck in for repair of the cooling system. Although expensive, the repair was completed in a day. Unfortunately, the next day, the Check Engine Light came on for an unrelated issue. While the code that came up was for a common issue, it seems unlikely that the repair did not, in some way, trigger the code. The coincidence would be too great. Luckily, the bulletin on the code is straight-forward. The OEM parts cost $130 and the work was roughly 45 minutes to do on my own. CBA wanted to charge $750 for the same work. It made me question the charges for the earlier repair.

Truck electric window repair and auto wheel alignment. Both tasks were performed in a very timely and honest manner. Transportation was also provided. I’ve found them to be very trustworthy and seek their advice and service with all three of my vehicles.

I took my car there before I went on vacation just to make sure everything is good for the trip they were very detailed to inspect everything in the car. My car came out in very good condition and drive great for the trip. Thank you CBA.

I have had this location work on two different vehicles. They are thorough and honest. In years past I have taken my car to other places to get the brakes replaced and they always try to replace all four brakes and rotors whether they truly need it or not. I knew the front brakes where the issue and allowed Christian Brothers to do their inspection and they were honest. They replaced the front brakes and rotors at a great price and in a timely manner. They were professional, appreciative of my business, and did a great job. They have my business.

I called to get my Car service and Battery replacement done at this center, but this time i received very unpleasant experience. They mentioned that they offer pickup and dropoff service which I used in the past as well from them, but they were not ready to offer that now since they are short staffed. Very dissatisfied experience and will choose another service dealer for my all future services now.

Had to get a new engine. Kept me advised throughout the whole process. Completed as promised. Have used them for 15 years. Never use the dealer because their prices are exorbitant in comparison.

I was in a time crunch as I needed my car to be ready soon so that I can make a long road trip to Colorado the very next day. They took really good care and made sure the vehicle was ready on time. They also provided shuttle services and so they dropped mr at home and picked me up once the vehicle was ready. Highly professional and would definitely recommend.

AAA Texas recently offered a 40-point inspection at Christian Brothers. The staff here were fantastic - very professional and courteous. While there were a few preventative maintenance items they recommended based on the inspection, I was not pressured in any way to buy any of the services. Will definitely be back.

I got a very detailed report sent to me multiple ways recommending some other things I should consider, but was not pressured into any of it or taken advantage of. I was having issues with my battery, went thru 4 since last July. They did a diagnostic exam and found nothing. Big relief. Did inspection and after new tires, passed. What really stood out was they came and picked up the car, no towing, just driving it and they drove it back to me. They also took it for the new tires. I never put a foot in their store. They did everything and made my life so easy. It was determined that I need to get in my car and drive it for at least 15 minutes once a week. While driving on 121 south, I ran over a plastic pot used for plants. It damaged my wheel well and shredded the protective rubber covering on the inside of the bumper. In fact the bumper covering on the wheel well was shredded and what was left of it flapped above the tire making an awful sound while interfering with a smooth drive. I took my car to Christian Brothers and within an hour the technician had tacked down the covering, cut off the part that couldn’t be saved and sent me on my way. I had no appointment so I was very pleased with the timing. Also the waiting room was very comfortable, pleasant and large enough for the five of us who were waiting to social distance. My most pleasant surprise was at checkout: The service was free. Free, free, free, free. Thank you Christian Brothers, I’ll be using you again.

I cannot recommend these guys highly enough, I was dropping my car off to be shipped out of the VPC for Guam and my rear e-brakes had malfunctioned. I took my car to Christian brothers and they did their best to finish the job so I could make my flight the next day and while I missed my appointment to drop the car off at the VPC they offered to drop the car off for me that following Monday so I could still make my flight. They went above and beyond customer service and even giving me a ride to the airport and making sure I got checked in for my flight the next day and even dropped me off at the a hotel afterwards. Its great to know there are genuine people still out there who are so willing to help others. I highly recommend these people. Could not be happier with their service.

They tried to make us pay $2,500 to fix a problem my car didn’t have AND they STOLE the quarters I keep to put air in my tires even though I hid them. They went looking for things to scam me on AND literally went looking for things to steal from me. Horrible, Dishonest place. Not the first time they tried to knock my head off either! STAY AWAY!

Walked in to get an oil changed on a Tuesday morning about 8:45AM. Nice place, reasonable prices and not a long wait. Friendly employees too. Waiting room has coffee and a few comfortable couches. I recommend it.

I had an issue with my truck that took a fair amount of diagnosis to find the problem. CBA kept after it until it was resolved. In addition to this repair, I also had a few routine maintenance items taken care of. Everything was explained in detail and I had a cost breakdown before any work started. First class. I had an absolutely awful experience at Christian Brothers Automotive Grapevine/Southlake. I called on behalf of my father, who suffered a massive stroke 12 years ago, rendering him incapable of comprehending or communicating very well. My fathers 2 1/2-year-old vehicle wouldnt start without the help of a jump. I talked to Ann to initially set up the appointment. Ann was very kind and patient. I informed her that my father had trouble communicating and that I would do so on his behalf. I gave her my contact information in addition to my fathers. I was impressed when Ann offered to have someone pick up the vehicle the following morning, for free. We went through the complicated instructions on how to access his car in his gated independent living facility, which we ultimately didnt end up doing because my father is task-oriented and impatient and wanted to drop it off as soon as possible. Towards the end of our conversation, Ann questioned whether his car might be under warranty, an option I hadnt even considered. It was, in fact, under warranty. I was told by the agent I spoke to at the warranty company that certain parts would be covered under factory warranty and others would be covered under the extended warranty. For those parts covered under the factory warranty, we would need to take the car to the dealership. For all other issues, we could go to any shop of our choosing. I informed him that it was most likely the battery, which he thought would fall under the category of extended warranty. So I jump-started my fathers car and took it into Christain Brothers.The following morning, Christian Brothers called me because they were well aware of my insistence to be communicated with rather than my father. I, unfortunately, missed the call and didnt hear the voicemail until a couple of hours later. I returned the call as soon as I noticed it. The gentleman that I talked to told me that everything was all good and that they were in the process of changing out the battery. What he failed to mention was that in the time it took me to return the call, they had called and talked to my father. They apparently informed him that the battery was, in fact, covered by the factory warranty and the fix would be free if he took it to the dealership. As I mentioned earlier, my father is incapable of comprehending fully what is being explained to him. My father responded that he wanted his car fixed. So they got to work replacing the battery, a job that they charged my father $500 to do.When they gave us the bill, we were shocked! I told them that the warranty should cover it. This is when they informed me that they explained everything to my father and he approved the repair. To which I explained, once again, that he was incapable of understanding, which is why I gave them my contact information. They argued that they tried to call me but I didnt answer my phone. Yes, I missed the call and it took me a while to get back to them but until they talked to someone capable of making the decision, they needed to wait. They disagreed and wouldnt let us leave with the vehicle until we paid the outrageous $500 bill.I was sickened by how they took advantage of my father and his disability. In talking to my siblings about this atrocious business conduct, my brother offered to call them in the morning to see if, at the very least, we could pick up the old battery to take to the dealership in an effort to trade it in for a new one for my father to use in the future. They refused to give it to him, stating that they trade old batteries in to get money back. My brother expressed his disappointment in how they took advantage of my father and didnt follow through getting authorization from me. The man then lied to my brother, telling him that I said my father was capable of authorizing this repair. I absolutely did not tell anyone my father could make these decisions. In fact, I did the exact opposite. Needless to say, we will not be returning to Christian Brothers and I will discourage anyone else from going there either.

Free look over of the vehicle is a plus, helping to me know what’s expected in a near future. Worked with Costco member tire service, after tired were installed in Costco, I went there for alignment with decent amount of discount. nice sitting waiting area and coffee, glad they didn’t strip that away due to Covid. Great email inspection report, clear and easy to navigate. Good service :) clean bathroom which I do care a lot.

I called 2 other shops before CBA and the owners argued with me about the work I wanted done. CBA was not the cheapest but they treated me with respect and did the work I asked without trying to pressure me or intimidate me which I often experience as a woman in an auto shop. I will use them fir all my cars from now on.

Charged $65 to cut a lock which took 2 minutes. I had to inform them the work was completed and was ignored, they were too busy having a discussion to acknowledge my presence. A couple employees looked at me but went right back to their discussion. I stood at the counter and waited. Finally an employee stopped talking long enough for me to again let them know the work was completed and I wanted to pay. I was the only customer in the lobby at the time. I understand Im not important but I just spent. $800 last week at a different automotive repair company and was treated with respect. You never know how much money you lose when customers arent a priority. This was my first visit to your company. Not upset but not impressed either.

Arrived without an appointment for a state inspection and was pleasantly greeted by everyone inside the office. The inspection was finished in very prompt order, and I was not “upselled”. I was treated very respectfully and while they made me away (as a first time customer) of the services they provide I felt no pressure to do anything more.Highly recommend.

A week ago Tuesday I was driving home from work and my car decided to overheat and began gushing coolant from under the car. I brought it to Christian Brothers Automotive in Grapevine and they were great. Turns out 2 of my hoses were bad and the one with the massive leak was attached near the back of the engine so they had to take apart the intake manifold to get to it. They repaired the problems and I was able to pick up my car by that Thursday afternoon. Now my car has always been a bit of a problem child but now even the engine is a lot quieter and its running fantastic. It was also nice that they have a courtesy shuttle. They were able to shuttle me home when I dropped my car off and when it was ready they called and even and picked me back up. They even went the extra distance when they repaired a pcv valve that had gotten cracked and was making my car stall for no additional cost that I greatly appreciate them for. Bottom line is good people, good work and great service. They have multiple locations too so if you have them nearby I definitely recommend their services. Thank you Christian Brothers!

Highly recommend getting a second or third opinion before getting your car worked on here.Took my wife’s car here, they quoted me $2500+ to fix it. The garage that I got the second opinion from fixed it for free.Turns out the noise was coming from A bolt on the hitch that was loose and the spare tire was loose causing the noise.I waited to leave this review to be 100% sure it was fixed, this was over a month ago and I have driven the car daily since then with no further issues. The noise that it was making never returned.I had taken my car here for the last five years. I always felt the work that was done was good but after this experience I won’t to be back. Extremely disappointed! I want my $35 diagnosis fee back also.

Being a woman, I am always leery bringing my vehicles in when I don’t know exactly what the issue is. When I called to make my appointment, Ann was super friendly and helpful. She armed to know her stuff with the questions she was asking to try to figure out the service I needed. They did a full inspection and figured out the problem was an easy fix but also found an oil leak I didn’t know I had. They called Ford and determined it was a warranty issue so they did not even charged me. Walked out happy and SOS boy feel taken advantage of at all. I will definitely be using them for any future issues I have. Mike helped me out when I got there and he couldn’t have been sweeter. Love these guys and gals.

Having just moved to Texas, it is scary finding a good place I trust with my car. I had an Oil change recently and it was a great experience. They text you and give you updates, when things are needed they are not pushy. I believe Sam was the guy who helped me. Very friendly. Very knowledgeable, answered every question I had. We were visiting our daughter from out of town and we prayed for a mechanic that was honest and reliable to service her car since our daughter recently moved to this city , we heard about Christian Brothers on a Christian radio station. We took her car in for an oil change which we thought it needed, but they honestly told us it wasn’t necessary for another 3000 miles. A few days later her car was having some issues so we took it to them, they checked it and found it had some sensor issues. They informed us that they had to keep it overnight, we tried to rent a vehicle through our car rental APP but it wasn’t recognizing our account number, the front desk attendant spoke with a supervisor then came and notified us that we could use the company van for the night at no charge, so we wouldn’t be without a vehicle. The next day they called us to let us know that our vehicle was ready before noon, they never tried to charge us for things we didn’t need done. All we can say is that Christian Brothers in Grapevine/ Southlake went above and beyond to show integrity, honesty and treated us as we would like to be treated, as they have written on their wall in the office as a Christ centered business! We thank God for leading us to them and highly recommend to anyone. We have peace that when we return home our daughter will be in excellent hands whenever she has any issues with her vehicle!! I strongly recommend getting your car repairs with CBA! I worked with Mike, he was fantastic at communicating with me and keeping me updated with what was going on with my vehicle. He went above and beyond to get my car taken care of in one day! I know it was a tough situation since getting parts for my vehicle is always a problem, but he got it done!
