I have to say that Linda is nothing short of super inspirational. Why super and not just your average? It is because she has been through more than most anyone I have met, and she is also one of the most uplifting and positive people I have ever interviewed. But it all seems to stem from her truly being happy about sharing the difficult situations she has faced, with the intent of helping others who may be going through pain.In a recent interview for my World of Speakers Podcast, she spoke her truth, and nothing but her truth. It seems like only yesterday that I was contemplating and procrastinating on applying for the Master of Social Work Program. To be frank, my back was up against the wall as I was struggling with personal dilemmas, self-doubt, fears of failure and rejection. This is when I reached out to Linda Williams for support. I met Dr. Williams through the Network for Social Work Management’s International Mentorship Program and we got along like gasoline and a match from the first conversation. She was unapologetically herself while meeting me where I was in life. Authenticity, especially the bravery that comes from being your authentic self, is very important to me, and the person that matched me with Dr. Williams knew that. I have difficulty with people that get caught up in ego and constantly need sunshine blown up their rear ends.Conversations between Dr. Williams and I were always productive.
