The staff here was extremely accommodating when I called shortly before they closed on a Friday evening. I was able to get my car in on Saturday morning and got my brake pads replaced as well as a rotor repaired before I went back home to Chicago. It was very reasonably priced and the staff went above-and-beyond to help me out. I would highly recommend using this auto body shop.

I highly recommend Aleman Auto Repair!!! They did not ask me to write any review for them as some businesses do. This was completely my decision to write the review.They really came through when I was in a bind. Back in October, I was visiting Grand Rapids for the weekend. I drove from Chicago and arrived Friday evening. When I got to my hotel, I noticed something was very wrong with my engine. I called Aleman Auto Saturday morning and spoke with Ricardo who was very friendly. I made an appointment to come in at 11:00 AM, and on Saturdays they close at noon. When I arrived, they looked at my engine and said I needed a new water pump, since mine was in really bad shape. I was leaving Grand Rapids to drive back to Chicago on Sunday. Since I told Ricardo I was from Chicago and was leaving the next day, Sunday, they stayed for a few hours past their closing time of noon on Saturday just for me! They replaced the water pump and it was all fixed on Saturday!They are very, very honest and the price was very fair. No upsells or BS. Ricardo was so friendly and easy to talk to. He even spent time giving me recommendations about bars and restaurants I should go to while visiting Grand Rapids! Ill be forever grateful to Aleman Auto Repair for really helping me out when I was in a city I was unfamiliar with, and driving a car that was nearly about to overheat and break down because of the water pump. Thank you! You guys were life savers!!!

Knowledgeable mechanics, fair prices, short turnaround times and above all honesty. The team at Aleman are proud of their great google rating and rightfully so, but they don’t try to force you to give them a 5 star review, unlike some other small businesses which have tried to offer me discounts in exchange for positive reviews on google, yelp etc. They have earned this rating legitimately and like everyone else I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Great no nonsense service they tell you what is imperially wrong with your vehicle meaning there could be more than one thing wrong but they would address the problem that needs to be resolve on the spot for one to keep driving.

Great service and great price

I had a gas line leak start late on a Friday afternoon. I was from out of town...so didn’t know if I could find someone to repair it and didn’t have an idea of who to trust. Reading the reviews for Alemans, it seemed like a good choice, but the reviews also seemed too good to be fully true. Well.....not only was my experience at least as good as the reviews, I was treated extremely well by Alvin, his father, and sister. They got my car in and repaired over the weekend. This is a class repair shop. Family owned, and professional in every way. My daughter, who lives in Grand Rapids, now has a go-to when it is needed.Thanks again Aleman!!!

This is hands down the best auto shop in Grand Rapids. Alvin and his crew know their stuff and always give you the best service and fair pricing. Very transparent and quick turn around. Plus, the shop is right on route 1 for the Rapid bus line or the Silver line so its easy to reach without your vehicle.

Aleman Auto Repair is first class. We were looking at a shop truck out of Grand Rapids and wanted to have an inspection completed before we purchased the vehicle. I contacted Aleman Auto Repair in the morning and was told that I could bring the vehicle over anytime for Alvin to look at. Alvin inspected the vehicle and spoke with my service manager over the phone.I would highly recommend taking your vehicle to Aleman Auto Repair.

When my car started misfiring and shaking violently no one could see me, of the dozen or so places i called the earliest I could be seen would have been the following monday. That is except for Aleman Auto Repair. Even though he was about to close for the day, he fit me in and in a couple of hours he had fixed my issue and had me out on the road again for a reasonable price. If i ever have car trouble in this city again, I will bring it back here.
