I have used Essential more than once in the past 8 years and today I went in to talk with Megan about getting a 2nd job. She had me in right away to update my information and i know have an interview set up not even 3 hours later with a company. Thank you!!

I applied for a job on indeed through Essential Personnel. It was a Customer Service Rep position and I knew it was something I could do given my physical limitations. I filled out the application and recieved a phone call the next day to have an interview with them at 3pm today. Only for them to call and inform me that they no longer needed me to come in due to me not being able to meet Essential Personnels 40 pound lifting requirement. I have worked on and off within the Customer Service Rep industry for 6 years now and I have never heard of a lifting requirement in this type of work. Also, when applying for this job intially on Indeed; nowhere does it state that one of the requirements are to be lifting a minimum of 40 pounds. I then stated to the lady that was speaking to me that i am working with Voc Rehab and Goodwill Industries to get reasonable accommidations established within the workplace. She said it wouldnt be neccessary because Essential Personnel doesnt deal with reasonable accomodations because if she did this for me than everyone would want reasonable accomodations. Reasonable Accomodations are specified to be used accordingly as stated by the American Disabilty Act. And the same reasonable accomodations are specified by the Equal Opportunity Act. Niether of these laws are followed by Essential Personnel and your actions of descrimination and the violation of my rights as a person and these laws will not go unnoticed! A company not associated with Essential Personnel (no matter if Essential Personnel takes on hiring another companys potential employees) still have to follow equal opportunity in the workplace and ADA Compliance Laws. So, why doesnt Essential Personnel follow these laws? Sounds like an extremely fraudulent company with no regard to an actual public community even though Essential Personnel claims to be a public company. Dont worry, Ill be telling Goodwill Industries and Voc Rehab how you chose to treat me and youll be out of business soon because I bet this isnt the only time Essential Personnel has done this to other disabled individuals.

Wont go back there to get help getting a job because they wont help you if you havent worked in three months. also the girl at the front desk doesnt dress that professional wears shirts that show down her chest so you can see everything

I mostly deal with the backoffice at Essential Personnel. I really enjoy working with Darin, Kyle and Micki. They always answer my questions and are prompt in their responses. I would recommend working with Essential Personnel in any of your staffing situations.

Place is a joke. Don’t waste your time there. They don’t respect anyone and just look down at everyone no matter the situation. They will like to you bout waiting for a job to open up just to put you in one so they can line their pockets. Don’t trust em. Don’t work for em.

This place located in Grand Island is only open for insulting people looking for work, especially the lady at the front desk !! I already applied for a job online and when I called them to ask about the application status, they said they want to see me in person first, when I went there I found that the job was actually only available to their friends and relatives of their race.

I was looking for a job and someone told me to try here. I needed a job fast and the lady that assisted me was kind and understanding. I really enjoyed my experience here at essential personal. I think I remember here name to be Nichole Kennedy. She was great.

I came in for one specific job that is still available didnt receive that job instead went with a different job they refresh their list every Thursday and Friday so when they say no jobs are available for ya, sorry its horse rubbish associated staffing will atleast try and get you that specific job but in there clause if you leave a job and call them letting them know as soon as possible that you quit left or they didnt find your services satisfactory essential will give you the cold shoulder in turn you call them it seems everyday and they splurt out the same line, let me remind you when you first sign up they call you bout a job. You leave then you have to call them sure its to possibly make sure your still serious but still come on now they do handle a lot of people that walk through that door but still other agency will get it if you quit a job never call em back they know your not serious but when you go back they atleast look like they are trying to find that perfect fit and still call you about a certain job

Worst temp company to work for. They charge you a random fee even with putting in a week notice. Id recommend associated or advance services before them
