Anne cancelled my son’s appointment 5 minutes before we arrived. We live 1 hour 15 minutes away. Our official appointment time wasn’t until 5:30, but we were on a “If we got there sooner it was better for her” agreement. She canceled at 4:35. My son thrives on routine (something she acknowledged) and having his appointment cancelled last minute really threw him for a loop. We drove over an hour for nothing, which means we lost part of our afternoon and a whole evening, not to mention a chunk of change for gas. It showed a complete lack of regard for our schedule, and made our son feel like he did not matter to her.
