Im having a hard time making my appointment this year.Every other year, since your Grand Island location opened, I have made an appointment to get a spiral perm for my birthday. My hair is long, as in just under the shoulder blades, and I always request gray rods. I realize this is a pain because it requires two people to wrap my hair and two sets of gray rods but, once finished the perm looks AMAZING and the curl lasts for 18 months!On my last visit in October 2019, I set up my appointment. As per request from many instructors in the past, I let the receptionist know that my hair requires two wrappers and two sets of gray rods. That way the scheduler knows to schedule a helper for the student who does my hair. I did my part. The student who did my hair was not scheduled a helper as requested and the instructor on duty that day REFUSED to allow her to wrap my hair in gray rods saying my hair was too long. Ive been getting this perm done this way since 1987, but what do I know, right! Anyway, we settled on a mix of white and purple rods. The perm was okay, it already looked too loose when they took the rods out but, I thought it would be okay. 6 weeks later, I had no curl left! I was deeply disappointed.On another note, I drive 1.5 hours one way to come to your location. Between the perm, my time and gas, I spend roughly $225 to get my hair permed the way I want it done. To be as disappointed as I was on my last appointment is too costly.I do really want to make my appointment this year but, Im hesitant. Im sure you can understand why.

This was my second trip to Xenon and both times they did a great job. Jocelyn did a retouch of my color and cut for me and did fabulous!! I love my new cut and everyone is complimenting the color (they say it looks like a whole new color even though it was just a retouch). Awesome job!!!

My friends and I went yesterday to get all done up for a party. Ami did a great job with my hair and makeup. She was very polite and did a good job at trying to make conversation. She explained what she was doing before she did. She was very careful with my makeup and not careless at all.

Mel colored my hair for me, and did a really great job. I do like the fact that they are training barbers now, or have been.

I felt sorry for the student. She told the women instructor she didnt know how to cut this short cut, the women told her to taper it up and she walked away. This girl cut it all a 1/2 all the way to nap and left the top 4 long. I didnt realize how short the back was till I got home. I had a picture so wasnt a matter of miscommunication. . It looks terrinle..the girl did a great job wrapping a perm but for what?

I recently had a very positive experience with Brittany Necker. I was greeted with a smile and an introduction. I showed her a photo of the cut and style I was interested in, and she expertly achieved the results that I was looking for. I also asked for recommendations for a specific kind of shampoo, she was highly knowledgeable regarding what would be best for my hair and even demonstrated the difference between a couple of choices. Needless to say I was delighted with her recommendations and my purchase.

I went to Xenon for the first time about a year ago and booked my appointment with Kate Bruce. I came in with a few ideas, but I mostly just wanted something different. She showed me several color options and had so many great ideas. While my hair was getting done, Kate made sure there was always conversation. Before I left, she even put in a cute fishtail braid! I absolutely LOVED my hair when I left!!I loved it so much that I made another appointment with Kate! I had her add some highlights to my hair. It looked incredible!Kate will always be my go to hair person!
