This place is a joke! I pay for service but they dont want to do the actual work! God forbid you have too much that doesnt fit into the container, because they definitely wont get out of their truck and do any more work than stay seated on their butts!! If I had another option for recycling and waste I would definitely use it!

Truck today dumped 50% of my recycling in the road today. Called customer service and they said. “The driver can help how the items come out of the bin into the truck typically there is no issue” “Unfortunately they won’t be back until the next scheduled pick-up in two weeks” Who wrote that policy?

Been using them since December with no issues. Today I came home and my trash can still has trash in it. 3 barrels side by side, only 1 still full. I pull all the barrels out Monday night so its not like it was taken out later, and was missed. Hopefully next week theyll do better; along with picking up the overflow that will be right next to, our in front of it.

Ive used this service for several years in Stoney Creek and Ive been pleased so far. Their pick up is usually on time and on the scheduled day except when holidays interfere.

EXTREMELY RUDE! I have been using this service for three months and got a note stuck to one of my cans saying that the cans should be three feet apart and 10 feet from any object. (Mind you i am at the end of a dead end road so there is nothing really out there but a mail box) Nobody ever told me this. I put them out today and they set them back about 14 feet apart. I also called about having a hot tub cover picked up and spoke with Sherri. She sounded bothered from the time that she answered the phone until the end of the call. You would have thought that I was calling at 2 am and waking her up..I was also going to talk to her about the pick up people but I felt like such a bother and was being hurried off the phone, I decided not to. When I first got the service everything was great! Now, I am looking for a new service! The garbage pick up people are petty and childish and Sherri is less than pleasant to deal with!...oh and there was garbage all on the ground by my trash cans which should be impossible seeing as how all of my garbage is in trash bags!

Repeatedly misses trash pickups. And don’t even waste your time contacting them because you’ll rarely get a return call. The only thing they are timely with is billing. Inconsistency at its finest. STAY FAR AWAY!!! The worst ever!!!!

Customer service is the worst?! Please change and get pleasant helpful people who wants to work/ a job, and tries to deal with customers complaints effectively.We dont call there because we have nothing to do- we call because there are genuine issues with your service, and so call out of frustration.These service reps. seems to take your complaints Personal and then take them out on us for sharing our concens, with their Poor, Unprofessional service. Shame! Shame! Shame on you. But think on this: NO Customers = No Company. So change or Not.!!

The woman who picks up recycling for Gibsonville is a dynamite employee! Give her a big raise. She hustles in and out of the truck each and every week. Shes been willing to let me load additional recycling in the past and knocks out my neighborhood in no time. Shes been doing it for years. I hope that the company is fairly compensating her.Looking at other reviews surprised me, but our service has always been good, especially since she has been doing our route. Perhaps the service is better when contracted through the town.

Two weeks now my trash hasnt been collected and to think, after I call and leave detailed messages, I cant seem to get a return phone call even to explain why theyre failing at the job. Do believe Ill simply return to running my trash to the dump myself.

They dont pick up all your trash ....I put a little fold up stand up fan that didnt work it fit in the trash can fine along with my bags of trash they took it out left it in my yard along with another small house hold item...I called about it and customer service was said it would be a bulk pick up cause it can hurt the truck..??? She also stated the items that go in there are things from your kitchen...so how about the rest of the house hold items...if Im going to go the land fill why am I paying theses guys for will take certain items service...if anyone knows of a better company plz email me...they suck

EVERY HOLIDAY OUR NEIGHBORHOOD GETS SKIPPED! MARYS PLACE in Burlington. I mean I think people should be able to have the holiday off but I have worked in the service industry and we did everything possible to take care of customers before or after. Somehow the link for holiday schedule has been removed. Monopoly trash service, whose service is definately garbage. Someone please offer an alternative. Was a loyal client for many years, in last year, they did not pick up garbage and recycling on numerous occasions, then received a statement on 5-25-16 (printed dated 5-15-16), showing due for June, July, August...planned on paying around 6-20-16, to my surprise I was sent to collections, letter from collections showed 6-18-16 printed. Now cant get them to come get there containers, after three calls, still no luck...service is terrible now and customer service terrible

Alot of people in my neighborhood is switching to a new trash service as am i soon. Im sick of the lack of customer service and the switching of my pickup day without notifications. And then they have enough nerve to pick and choose what they collect! My neighbor had a small vacuum cleaner that was left twice without explaining why. Dont respond to my post waste industries. Its only going to piss me off even more. Apparently this company doesnt need our money.

If I could have a negative star I would. They do what they want when they want IF they want. The only consistent thing about them is their ability to be inconsistent. They wouldnt know customer service if it knocked them down. They are rude & condescending. Absolutely no clue how to deal with a customer.

They pick up my trash every Wednesday before work and also grab the dog food bags we fill up with Trash too. No complaints there.We USED to have Recycling but I NEVER knew which day it was collected and it seems like the office didnt want to give an exact date either. If I missed a two week period theyd remove it from my bill, which is nice, I guess? Plus Im pretty sure I was the only one on my little cul-de-sac street who recycled so I couldnt guess when it came as none of my neighbors put theirs out either. So we just trash everything now 🤷🤷🤷*** I called the office and the woman who answered the phone was very nice and helpful! She set me back up with recycling AND sent me a recycling schedule! Changed to 5 stars as theyve always collected my trash/recycling (when I remember 😅)

If I could give a negative rating I would. Like many others we have constantly had to call to have both our trash and recycling picked up. Its ridiculous. Then today I receive a notice from a COLLECTIONS AGENCY about our bill. A bill that had paid drafted out of my account 2 months ago. Tomorrow they will be getting an ear full from me. They have to be the worst company that I have ever dealt with!!!

They have consistently provided shabby service and poor customer service. Theyve skipped our neighborhood for days when the weather was just fine, and have taken weeks to pick up garbage when wed get a little snow. The roads would be clear, the landfill would be open, and wed be told just to pile trash up until they could get off their keisters to pick it up. When I complained to the district office, they told me Id get a discount on my service... that I never got.This company blows. I would only recommend them to people I dont like.

Another missed pickup. We have no idea when they will show up and have never been given any advance notices of their shabby rescheduling. Whoever contracted them should be fired.

After being a customer for over 8 years now the service has went from bad to worse. We now have went from worse to non existent. Have called 11 times for recycling to come pick up. They have changed my day of pick up 7 times in the last 4 months. I have no idea when or where they are going to go to pick up now as they told me on the phone they changed the pick up location. When you call in for customer service I guess since they are used to dealing with trash they feel its ok to treat you like trash. I so wish I had another option besides this company but they are the only ones in my service area.

Our service was good at first but the past several months have gone from bad to worse. We live on a major highway and had to start putting our trash can somewhere other than our driveway because they just throw the trashcan in the middle of the driveway rather than putting it back to the side where they get it from. Weve had to have a trashcan replaced because they put it on the edge of the road and the wind from passing vehicles blows it over and out in the road. We had 1 extra bag of trash, we placed it on the ground beside the trashcan. They DID NOT pick up that bag, left it on the ground beside our empty trash can!! That is LAZY! If the truck used the arm to pick up our can I would understand but they have to manually roll our can to the truck to be emptied.

Would have given less if available. Snarky driver refused to leave his truck to get recyclables that wouldnt fit in the can the day after Christmas. He wouldnt even wait for me to reload them into the can after he dumped the first load.

I have used waste industries for several years and have been a great paying customer and out of the blue they call me and tell me they are canceling my service because they deem it unsafe to back out of my driveway when they have had no problem all these years and they had my dumpster picked up the following morning. I mean not even a 24 hr notice. That is the stupidest thing I have ever heard, terrible customer service!! I will never recommend anyone to use them!!!

The most inconsistent garbage collection service in the state, possibly the country. They show up when they want to, it seems like. On holidays they don’t come the next day, they wait till the following week. (Update/P.S., they asked me to email them, as you can read in their reply to my post here, which I did, but I never heard back from them in any way - no surprise there. :/)

Branch managers may be racist. Richard is the name, he drives his team like .jules and treats them like trash, like everyone is beneath him. He has a gopher, his name is Christopher, Chris for short. Chriss life support system is Richards but, he is always attached to it. Between Richard Chris and chriss father they have managed to finagle any scrap metal finds, thus leaving this company out of the loop and out of those profits. I believe karma will come back one day and take care of these individuals,!!

I was only with company for 3 weeks before canceling services. I had to call the office weekly to get the run around when my trash was going to be picked up. I called several times to make sure my trash can did not need to be at the main room instead of my driveway, said supervisor was going to contact me and let me know well that never happened. Within the 3 week span my trash was only picked up 2 times told 2nd time being to cancel. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone.

Who else in Burlington can I get to handle our commercial waste removal. ?Im tired of calling 3-4 times a month to complain only to be lied to again and again.

Inconsistent pick ups and unresponsive to complaints. Very frustrating that this is the only option.
