My experience with Canyon Trails Family Dental was good. Everyone is friendly and professional from the initial phone call to schedule to proceeding with exam, X-rays, cleaning and procedure needed. Dr. West is kind and gentle. Holly is great. My husband and children are scheduled for their first visits now that I know we are all in good hands. We found our new dentist. I highly recommend.

I had a great first experience. My hygienist, Kelly was thorough and explained what and why she was doing what she was doing. My dentist Dr. Vacanti was very friendly. Luckily for me I had no issues for him to fix but if I did I’m sure he would have done as detailed of a job as Kelly did. This place is busy but organized and runs efficiently. The doctor spend a decent time with me examining my teeth and answering my questions. I moved from my previous dentist to this one based on the higher rating and I dont regret doing so. Staff were courteous and professional, both the dental hygienist and the dentist were very skilled and we had great conversations (as strange as it might sound like, this is something I look for when I go into these medical places that require me to be with another person for a long time), and the insurance process was smooth. They didnt try to upcharge or sell me more. They told me all the issues, asked which ones I wanted to resolve today, and got my approval before treating me. They also had an air purifier at the front and every single staff was wearing masks all the time. Definitely felt like they were taking good care of the customers. I made my wife to get her appointment here as well. We will be a regular customer.

Called Canyon Trails Family Dental at 4:30 pm when an old veneer broke on one of my front teeth. They got me in at 10:00 am the next day and did a very nice temporary repair for a very reasonableprice. Dr Wheeler and his assistant seemed very competent and all the staff were friendly and helpful. So glad I went here.

Angel was the hygienist from nightmares.. started with polish, water blasted my gums and teeth to get it off. Then she used the sharp tool and was careless, she cut into my back tooth’s gums and several others just going way past the teeth, she was ruching on the inside of my lower bottom teeth, causing her to slip off my tooth and stab into the tissue just below my bottom lip.. the was more but long story short, I left spitting blood and needing ibuprofen from that nightmare of a cleaning.

Friendly staff and were able to get me in quickly,, since I lost a crown. Dr. Wheeler was great and made sure my procedure was as painless as possible.

I haven’t had the opportunity to get in to see the dentist for some time due to COVID, life, etc. when I called to set up an appointment on Saturday they were able to fit me into the schedule that Monday, only 2 days later. Even without dental insurance my initial cleaning with x-rays and everything was reasonably priced and did not “break the bank”. I was seen by Dr. Wheeler who was very nice and when he noticed a cavity in one of my molars he was more than happy to make a little more time in his schedule that day to get the job done. All in all, I was in and out in about an hour. I would definitely recommend this dental clinic to anyone who is in need of a teeth cleaning, filling, etc.

First time patient and they were able to sneak me in on 24 hour notice for tooth pain. From the front desk to the dentist, everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Like a lot of people I have a strong dislike for any time of dental treatment or exam and they were sure to make sure I was comfortable and doing okay all throughout my visit. The dentist answered any questions I had and throughly explained the treatment plans needed. There was no pressure to make any decisions on the spot and sent me home with all the information I needed. As much as I hate going to the dentist, I think I found a good one and will finally take care of my oral health!!

I have had 8 crowns and countless cleanings completed at Canyon Trails, and all of my experiences with Dr. West and the staff have been stellar. Dr. West is very friendly, and always takes the time to explain procedures and answer questions. I do not have children, but have been there many times when 8 to 14ish year olds were patients, and West is great with them! Highly recommended if you are in need of a dentist!

I have a fear of dentists, but not these guys. They are honest and caring. Several years ago, I had been to several local dentists for what turned out to need a root canal. Two of them wanted to do root canals on two or more teeth, and all of them said I needed a deep cleaning and would not treat without it. CTFD performed the root canal on the one tooth that was causing all of the problems. They have taken care of me for several years now & my teeth are the healthiest they have been since I was in my 30s.Its not just the docs that are great. It is the entire staff they have put together. Well Done!

Really disappointed in the way I was treated today by the dentist. He yelled at me when I was trying to explain why I didn’t want to have an X-ray. I have been a patient for four years and had a problem with the attitude of one of the front office girls but I continued to come to this office even though she still is being rude by not acknowledging me when I come in. So I am done with this dental office abuse.

I thought this place would be nice but I guess I was wrong. I went in for a x ray and exam and cleaning and they only gave me a x ray and exam trying to get more money out of me they didn’t even want to try and clean some stuff. This was not cool they should include that when they say you get all of that for the price of a new patient. Don’t go to this place depending on your insurance and everything they will book more appointments and try and get as much money out of you as they can... they don’t care about your teeth just the money they can make.

Overall I have had a good experience. Dr West very calm, knowledgeable and wants what’s best for the patient. Had a cleaning today and it wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be since I’ve heard nothing good about deep cleaning! They split it up into 2 different days which was cool with me since it made it feel shorter than normal.
