Bob, Connie and everyone else worked with me over several months to design my custom ring using family diamonds, plus a green tourmaline that I purchased from Bergstrom. They are the kindest, friendliest people and will bend over backwards to make sure every part of your experience - and your sparkly outcome! - is perfect. I appreciated how before they cast the actual ring, they cast it in purple wax (pictured) so I could approve the final design before it was cast in gold. My family has been going to Bergstrom for over 50 years. I brought in my grandmothers 72 year old broken down setting and they were able to restore it to an amazing engagement ring. Bob has been helping my family with our jewelry needs for the past 30+ years, so when it came time for me to purchase an engagement ring, I knew who to contact. Although I live in Chicago, Bob took the time out of his day to speak with me over the phone numerous times to help me narrow down what the perfect diamond would be according to my parameters and budget. Bergstrom Studio was wonderful!! I had the pleasure of working with the team to design a wedding band to go with my late Grandmothers engagement ring. I never got to meet my Grandma Doris, but had always dreamed of wearing her ring when it was my time to walk down the aisle. Bergstrom Studio resized my grandmothers ring perfectly. For the wedding band, my mother-in-law, Carol gave my now husband, Ian one of her grandmothers heirloom earrings. I used the smaller diamonds from the earring and Bergstrom Studio designed a GORGEOUS wedding band. Also, they melted down my grandpas ring to use the yellow gold to set the diamonds. Bergstroms encouraged me to not break up the setting piece of the earring and perhaps add a replacement stone and make a charm. Through consultation with the Bergstrom team, we landed on replacing where the diamonds used to be with beautiful seed pearls. At the grooms dinner, I gave my mother-in-law the earring, now a charm, on a necklace strand as a gift to thank her for everything she does and for raising the man of my dreams. Bergstroms is not just a remarkable jewelry store, they create loving memories filled with happy tears. Thank you!!

They went above and beyond to create my dream ring by taking things I liked from rings they had and custom making mine. I LOVE having a ring I know that no one else in the world owns. This is a family-owned business that just relocated to Golden Valley. My husband and I got our wedding rings at Bergstroms 25 years ago, and my daughter and her husband also got their wedding rings at Bergstroms last year. Over the years, Ive had my wedding ring cleaned and checked. Once the crown had to be replaced. My sister, who did not get her wedding ring at Bergstroms, lost her diamond from its setting.I am so happy that Bergstroms is now in our neighborhood!

I would give them 12/10 for the amazing work they did for me! I went in with 2 of my grandmas old gold rings and a vision for my new engagement and wedding bands for my May wedding. When I went in for my first visit, we had drawn up a picture which the fabricator took and made a wax mold of. First design wasnt exactly right, so we met again and talked it through and we had a final design... I got my rings back and all I can say is WOW. I cant stop staring at them, Im absolutely floored at how amazing they turned out. Everyone at the studio is amazingly friendly and just as excited for your project as you are. Ive been rummaging around my jewelry box looking for something else to have reset... absolutely will be using them in the future!

Went in to have a watch repaired after a visit to Macys where I was told it was defective. The staff was friendly and helpful and the watch guy was fantastic and had the watch working in under 15 minutes. Will be recommending Bergstrom from here on out and will definitely be a repeat customer.

I came here on a complete whim: I was initially headed to Wedding Day Diamonds to have my engagement ring and wedding band fused together (a cradle ring purchased online). I misjudged where I parked and ended up in front of Bergstrom, so I gave it a shot. So glad I did!I had been to at least 3 other major jewelers in the area and ALL of them treated me like dirt. They all copped an attitude, were argumentative, and very unhelpful. I figured Bergstrom would be the same, but they were amazing. Tons of personality, very sweet, and even complimented my ring and brought other workers over to admire it. They gave me a weeks estimate to have both rings fused together, a fair price, and it was all completed beautifully and right on time! I absolutely loved the ladies there and would go back for any jewelry needs!

I bought a ring I’d long-admired from an antique store – an intricate silver and turquoise original created by an Zuni Pueblo artisan of some renown. From my car, on my phone, I searched for a reputable jeweler to have the ring sized. I selected Bergstrom Jewelers and received an idea of the cost over the phone.I ran a bunch of errands before heading there. In the meantime I discovered the ring was no longer in my pocket. For two hours I retraced my steps, looking in the aisles and parking lots of four stores. Just before giving up I found it in a parking lot. Bad luck had become good luck - until I found that the ring had been run over by a car, squished. True story. I brought it to Bergstrom.While not a ring I purchase from them, and they treated me as if I had.One week later, after the Bergstrom artisans took the ring apart, removing the stones – twice – and reassembled it, and a couple fittings to get it right, it was done and perfect. In the meantime I had made friends with Dino, Cindy, Connie, Zach, and others, retold my lost-found-squished ring story too many times, drank their coffee, and ate their cookies.They probably wouldn’t want me to share what they charged me – but it was the same as their original quote over the phone for resizing a ring.

I have been working with Bergstrom for 18 years, building a special necklace for my niece. What, 18 years? How does that happen?Well, each year for her birthday I gave my nice a pearl for every year old she was (5 years = 5 pearls; 8 years = 8 pearls; 17 years = 17 pearls). On her 18th birthday this year, I gave her a string of pearls, made up of all of the pearls I gave her each year. It is a beautiful necklace and is so heartfelt, having put so much time into building it. My niece is thrilled and I cried with joy when giving it to her.Thanks to everyone at Bergstrom throughout the years and especailly this year, working together to design the necklace. After 30 years of marriage I upgraded my ring and yes I love my ring! However I will never do business with Bergstrom Jewleers again and will not recommend them. Customer service was terrible. After waiting the 4-5 weeks for my ring, I was told on a weekly basis that they were having issues w shipping. Turns out there was no problem w shipping.. The problem was they ordered the ring 2 weeks AFTER I put down $ 2000 on the ring. I had to wait 8 weeks! They gave me a $100 gift card to Crave for the oversight... Bergstrom Jewelers is out of touch. So disappointed..

Terribly disappointed in the communication of what happened with my wedding rings. I was juggled between 3 or 4 diff people (each of which i had to explain what was needed for my rings and what I wanted done) over a couple weeks time trying to get my rings soldered back together and some tips redone. No one returned 2 different voicemails that were left, and at the end of it all when I went to pick up my rings and pay, the man was about to charge me only $350 for a 1k job. They were all nice enough people, but the communication between the salespeople, the jeweler, and myself, was absolutely terrible. When I corrected the man that, actually my ring is in the $950 region of work, he said thank you for being honest and Im sorry youve have a rough experience with us. Any type of discount would have eased my frustration. Positive note: the woman who did the work on my rings is as good as it gets. Absolutely flawless, gorgeous work.

I worked with Bergstrom Jewelers to design a special necklace for my girlfriend. They were absolutely wonderful to work with in every aspect. They led me through the process, helping me, but not overtaking my design and they allowed me to make it my own. I was even able to see the backend of their process and meet the people working on the piece. Bob Zagaros and the whole staff are some of the best people you will meet. We had an anniversary band designed at Bergstroms and had a wonderful experience. The staff took the time to get to know us and really made sure we were getting exactly what we wanted. The designer is incredibly talented and made a perfect band to compliment my wedding ring. We bought our engagement and wedding rings at Bergstroms 20 years ago and loved the experience and we are just as happy with our experience today.

They do not keep actual inventory in stock, horrible experience with the employee helping me... got all the way to checkout on an expensive purchase and was informed the price they had been quoting me for the last 2 hours of my time there was wrong and was actually 25% higher. No apology, no explanation, no attempt to reconcile. Thats all I needed to decide I couldnt trust the place.

I recently bought an engagement ring from Bergstrom’s. It was recommended by a friend, and it took only a few minutes to realize why. It’s a beautiful new store, and you’re greeted warmly. I’d initially met with Bob, but he quickly had me work with Mandie, assuring me that I was in good hands. A few suggestion pictures from my now-fiance was what I had to work with, and she quickly deciphered all of the highpoints I was going to need to pick out the right stone. Meanwhile, Bob had already placed a phone call on my behalf to have some stones brought in for me to choose from the very next day. They were beautiful stones, and Mandie made it an easy choice as to which one was going to work best, and I was able to walk out of the store that next night with amazing Christmas gift in hand. My own man-made time crunch became no worry whatsoever.Once she’d got the solitaire, we came back in to choose a setting. A few unique requests turned into a stunning, custom-made band and setting. It was done all on-site, and Connie was very interactive about exactly what my fiancé wanted the end result to be. The result was exactly what she’d wanted, and I couldn’t have been happier with the experience on my end. There was never a doubt that I’d be well-taken care of from the moment I walked in.

I just wanted to let you know what an amazing employee works at Bergstrom! A little background, my Fiance and I got engaged back in March where he purchased a ring thru a different jeweler. Since then there has been nothing but issues to the point where my ring has spent more time in NY and fighting with the design & the issues than on my finger to show off for everyone to see. We have had to push back our engagement photos and alot of other fun wedding things due to these delays. Well finally we decided that we needed to do some research with other jewelers to find out what we should be asking for when we go in for yet another meeting about a ring that still wasnt done. My Dad bought my Moms ring from Bergstroms 25 years ago and said if we were really going to look at starting over with some one else they were the place we needed to go to. I am so glad we did! We had the greatest sales guy Peter who was so patient and kind, we explained what happend and showed him our original ring and was able to suggest so many great options to make it the perfect ring again. Even suggesting if we wanted the exact same ring there own jeweler would be happier to make us an exact copy for a fraction of the over inflated price we paid for at the other jeweler. Thats when we knew we were in the right place. We are so excited now and are going to meet with the jeweler to take our ring from some bad memories and alot of imperfections to the custom beautiful piece my Fiance always wanted for me.
