I am writing to thank Diane Bertolino for the kindness and skills she gave to Joan Shirley through a horrible crisis. Joan had been ill for the past year. She was under the care of a physician who found she tested positive for mold. The physician ordered her to vacate her apartment immediately. Diane stepped right up and helped her through this overwhelming situation. She had no relatives and her friends were not able to provide shelter for her. Diane worked with her to solve the problems she was facing. Diane had empathy for her as well as skills to get her feet back on the ground. She was always there for her,Diane had a heart of gold. How fortunate the elders of Rockport are to have Diane at the helm.
