Alway receive excellent customer service. The cars are super clean and in excellent condition. The rental, pick up, and drop off process are easy, and have had car delivered and picked up sometimes as well.

Been renting for months. Told me my price would remain the same as long as I rented. Not only did they double my rate but they gave me a free upgrade but if I want to keep it its going to cost another $300/month. Dont believe anything they say as far as the type of vehicle you will get and the rate they will give you if you plan on doing a long term rental.

Our experience with Enterprise and specifically at this location is never less than stellar. The representatives are friendly, accommodating, and always a pleasure to work with. I’ve rented almost every level of car available, and have always been pleased with car quality and cleanliness. The prices are always excellent, too. Highly recommend using this location of Enterprise if you live on or are visiting the North Shore — you won’t be disappointed!

The absolute worst car rental is Enterprise! After booking a pickup for a Saturday at 12 pm, in Gloucester, when I arrived a little after 12pm, they had closed at 12pm. I was not told that they closed at 12m when I booked. I had an out of town wedding to attend that day and was dIn need of a car. There were a few employees still there when I arrived and I tried to ask for some helpful info on where I could get a car rental. They were not helpful and so rude to me. They finally gave me another Enterprise site in Peabody. When I arrived, they were also closed. I did finally locate a Budget Auto Rental who accommodated me. Enterprise Auto Rental was a terrible choice and I would never use this company again.Kristen Andersen

I had the best experience at Enterprise in Gloucester. Very kind and helpful employees and I loved the car I rented and it was a great price. I had planned on renting a car from Hertz, got the car, which was supposed to be a top of the line vehicle (on line they led me to believe it was a Toyota 4runner) so they charged a ton for it and it ended up being dodge. The car was bare bones, terrible engine, no blue tooth, it was absurd so I returned it 2 weeks early. At enterprise I went with a mid level vehicle, it had all the bells and whistles, drove really well and I am not joking, cost me 1/4 of what Hertz was charging! Lesson learned. Finally found a reliable rental company. I will only go with Enterprise from now on.

I rented car a week back, I got picked up from my place to enterprise. First day everything was good.But next day morning there was flat tire. It took me almost half day to fix it. all my plan got ruined.be careful and check car before you drive. :(

Both of our cars died in the same week, Enterprise was great about us having to extend our rental several times while we waited on titles and paperwork for our replacement car. The staff was very friendly and efficient and well definitely be back when we need another rental.

Enterprise in Gloucester is amazing, I had a minor complication and they went above and beyond to make it right. I HIGHLY recommend them. Just becareful and watch your charges.

Very disappointed! Called in for a rental on Friday August 17, 2018 was told someone would be contacting me from the Newburyport, MA office. On Monday, August 20, 2018 had to phone the Newburyport office as no one called only to be told that they do not drop off vehicle but will pick me up at autobody shop but they would have to transfer reservation to Gloucester MA. Called Gloucester spoke to Jacomb (sp?) who stated that my reservation was not under an insurance claim and after some time stated he would call Elise at Newburyport to confirm and phone me back as he was with a customer! Needless to say an hour and a half later no call back from Jacomb. I called him back and cancelled reservation he could have cared less. GO WITH HERTZ SEAMLESS AND NO ISSUES!

I rent from this location several times/year - I usually take a day or a weekend trip down to Jersey and its nice to be able to drive something down thats more comfortable than my manual transmission Corolla. I usually dont have an issue but the most recent trip I took on 3/14 I found something strange in the car.I went through the entire inspection of the car first, as you usually do, inside and out - there was a little black ball on the dashboard that the Enterprise rep never brought attention to, I honestly thought that it was a daytime running light sensor - I have them in my corolla and they just look like little black caps that sit on the dash (that is how small this thing was).It wasnt until I took the keys and started my trip down to Jersey that I realized it was actually a camera, facing me. I pulled over to check to see if it had a lens pointing outward too, maybe in the case of an accident, but nope - only pointing inward at the driver and passenger. I promptly covered it with a T-Shirt once I realized what it was, there was no disclosure in any of the agreements I signed - only one stating that all enterprise cars are equipped with OnStar or other emergency systems, nowhere does it say that they would be monitoring me via camera, if I was told by the employee that the car was equipped with a self monitoring camera I WOULD NEVER have agreed to take that car.Suspiciously I never received the followup phone call or survey asking about my experience, like I usually get. I have to say - Im completely blown away by the dishonesty and non disclosure of this, I dont appreciate anyone spying on me while I drive, completely unconstitutional. The whole experience has completely turned me off from renting from Enterprise ever again, I recommend anyone else that rents from here check the cars thoroughly before you sign anything.
