I have taken my cars to Steve since he opened in the late 1990s and can recommend him without reservation. He is honest, knowledgeable and a very good communicator. He explains all options thoroughly before moving forward and will not hesitate to send you to a dealer if it makes more sense for certain kinds of work.

Today was the first time I have ever been to Auto Service with Steve. I was looking for someone to fix the bumper on my 2019 Acura RDX. Steve told me he didnt do body work and referred me to a body shop, but then he came over to look at my car. Within five minutes, he had snapped my bumper back into place and used gunk cleaner to remove the minor surface scratches. My new car looks new again! Thank you for being so considerate and creative, Steve. I am so happy with your work and your positive attitude!

Im from North Carolina, and needed some emergency repairs. Steve got it done quickly even though I was late for my appointment and it was a Saturday. He alerted me to an additional problem that I knew existed, so I know he was being honest. He did not push at all when I denied the additional repair. If I dont edit this review, assume that my car held up for the 13 hour drive ahead of me.

Steve has been good to us since we moved to Glenview. The service is excellent and he prices his work fairly.Now, 10+ years in Glenview. As soon as our cars get off of the new car dealer service plan, we go to Steve. Everything is always done properly the first time and at the right price. Plus, its fun to hear Steves stories!
