Really nice shop with a great group of guys! I was passing through when my check engine light came on, and I needed a new turbo. Diesel Joe took great care of me and my truck, allowing me to park my trailer at his shop over the weekend and giving me another truck to drive. I will try to plan my future truck work around driving through Glendive.

While on a road trip from Washington State to North Dakota, our truck started having problems outside of Billings. We were towing a rather large fifth-wheel and fortunately found Pro Tech Diesel. We limped the truck there and Joe took amazing care of us. He directed us to a nearby RV park to drop our camper and even lent us his personal truck while he was working on ours. While we are pretty sure we got the, You have Washington plates and no other choice price, we were were very pleased with everything about the service. And my husband got a free hat that he loves!

The guys do really good work. So they deserve a descent rating.. But they charged me out the wazoo, so I wont be going back. $150.00 for labor for 15 minutes work. Thats not including the price of the parts, thats just the labor.

Got me right in with friendly helpful service. Fixed the exhaust system on my 2010 Dodge 3500 running cooler, better mileage, HP is back too! Then my loner vehicle was a Cadillac. I cant recommend them enough.

I don’t often post reviews, but I had to comment on the excellence of Pro Tech diesel. I was towing an RV in northeastern Montana when a cold air intake hose to my turbo blew in my 6.7 diesel. You can’t imagine towing 14,000 pounds without a turbo! After multiple calls to Ford dealers, I found that the part was back ordered three months and I was stuck 1500 miles from home. A Ford dealer in Wolf Point found an aftermarket hose at a place he highly recommends which was Pro Tech diesel. I arrived to pick up the “after market” intake hose, but found that I did not have the tools to install it. Despite a very busy schedule, the owner Joe said he would get one of his guys to do it. After about 15 minutes, Joe came out to tell me that the part would not fit because of the emissions Equipment on this vehicle. However, he called around and found the Ford OEM part at a Ford dealer who does a lot of business with him. The Ford dealer was keeping it for his own shop because of the back order issue. Joel told the Ford dealer about my situation and convinced him to sell us the hose. Joe personally drove to the Ford dealer and brought the part back. I was back on the road within an hour and a half of arriving at his shop. Brenda at the front desk is wonderful and helped me take care of my two hunting dogs while we waited. This is how you do business!!! If you have any problem with a diesel then Pro Tech diesel is your place.Thank you again to Joe and Brenda,Monty Snow

Awesome! I called this business on a Sunday afternoon with the hope of an after hours number. On the voicemail it gave the owners cell phone number. I texted this number to see if I could get a response. He immediately responded. I was shocked and happy at the same time. Then I was worried about the cost, so asked what would he charge to fix the regen issue with my pickup. He said $75.00 if he could fix it. I was shocked again and i told him that was a steel and a dealership would charge me 2 and a half hours, because Im honest like that. We set up a time to meet and hour and a half later, he forced a regen on mt pickup. While we were waiting we drank his coores light beer (shocked again). I again was thinking to myself what is this beer gonna cost me. When he was done I asked him what was my bill and he told me $75.00. This of coarse shocked me again and all I had was 4 - 20 dollar bills. I told him how about $80.00? He said sure and we laughed. This is a great and honest business. Use these guys before you call the dealership. You will be glad you did. Thanks again PRO TECH DIESEL.

We can’t rate this business and their proficient staff high enough. exceptional. We have much gratitude and appreciation for their work following a breakdown of our truck.

Joe and Tanner did an outstanding job getting my truck and trailer off the road, and back up and running before the end of business that day. Very professional establishment, courteous and polite staff, as well as a very in depth and thorough knowledge of diesel platforms.
