My son has been going here for atleast 4 years now and they always do a great job with style and give you exactly what you ask for... They can do all types of hair cuts I myself have gone their and I got a pixie cut. I dont usually see women get their hair cut here but I called and asked if they cut womens hair and a guy named Bobby was referred to me to cut my hair and he gave me exactly what I asked for. The Prices are affordable the place is always clean and the staff is very friendly... The employees have mad skills... Thank you Elite I will be coming back...

They do an AMAZING job on fades, beards, and braids. My husband gets a lineup/haircut about every 1-2 weeks, and despite it being a barber shop, in a bind, they have cut my hair too, AND DID AN INCREDIBLE JOB! Very friendly staff, and they keep their prices super reasonable! Make sure you have cash with you, because they are a cash-only establishment. I highly recommend Elite Barber Shop.

Been going to elite barber shop for 6 years now and have never left a review, not for a bad reason but because I always leave happy. The way I see it, people usually jump to leave a bad review for bad service, but never take the time to do the same for good service. I go to Denise at elite barber shop, been going to her for 6 years now and she’s the best!! Not only is she a great barber, but she’s also a great listener. She gives you full attention to what you want and if you gotta vent she will listen to you and your personal stories. Love it there and I recommend this barber shop to everyone, best environment forsure!

So yesterday and today we called elite barber shop to make sure they were open for business. They said they were but didnt mention a thing about needing an appt. So I took my Dad (85yr old) to the shop as we got to the door this one trans looking girl looked at us like we were out of place or something. So Dad was attempting to sit down and this trans chick came over after talking to the other two saying we needed an appt because of the virus thing going around. Hair cut n beard trim is all he needed for our wedding today. The point is no mention of appt on the phone. And Dad was very tired after getting in and out of the car n recently coming out of the hospital. Very heated.!

The barber shop is very professional! Denise is the only barber I let cut my hair ! She does the best braids and always picks quality over quantity!! She takes her time on every client and makes sure she does her job until the cut is done. The barbers at the shop cut all four of my sons hair and of course mine! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this shop for all your hair needs!

Service is definitely what I look for. Greeted at the door is there walk in letting you know what the wait time is. The most definitely a barber that takes his time on perfecting a haircut I dont care if that haircut takes 2 hours as long as you know what youre doing and youre perfecting it thats all that matters in definitely thats what I got at this place

Literally the best barber shop on the west side ! Denise knows what she is doing , always takes her time , always using clean tools and most importantly listens to what exact detail you want done ! My son won’t sit for anyone but her ! And usually he is a wiggle worm ! Denise will put on a kids movie to help make the kids feel welcomed and is very gentle and caring with all kids . Definitely recommend checking her out if you haven’t already!

Great barber shop!

I had a bad experience here. My personal barber was out of town, I needed a last-minute haircut and my cousin recommended me this barber shop for he is a customer. I went and was waiting patiently for any barber that was available. Of course some had their appointments but I saw others just sitting around doing nothing. I asked one of the barbers (a female) if she was able to cut my hair and she told me that she was waiting for a client. All in all, the customer never showed up, another man walked in and she asked him if he wanted a haircut instead of asking me who was waiting there for almost 2 hours. I’ll never recommend this barber shop to anyone just because it’s inconvenient and the workers seem to be lugged around.

I just went this morning to get a haircut. Patrick did a great job cutting my hair, he took his time to make sure it was done right. All of the other staff was nice and friendly too. 5 star rating would recommend anyone to get a haircut here.

Man I used to love this place back when Gabe was still cutting her now the only good barber left that I know is female on the 4th chair she can cut hair really good if I would of got my cut from her today id be satisfied but sadly the barber I got my cut from today didnt even pay attention to what I asked for a d to make things worse he was cutting in the same spot for nearly 45 minutes and my fade is patchy and uneven I dont know dudes name but hes the second chair stay away from him

Customer service here is the worst. The guys here are very disrespectful towards women, always cursing, talking about their sex life and putting women down. In more than one occasion I went and had my 4 year old with me, SMH ... Left very annoyed. Only good thing here is the girl Denise.Still wouldnt recommend this place.

Took my brother for a cut today while I went next door for a mani pedi. Took me a little over an hour and when I came out they still hadnt gotten to my brother. There was only one lady cutting hair at the time. Apparently they dont care about new business though since they kept skipping my brother. So if youre new to the area, just go to the other shop on 51st and Northern otherwise youll never be helped.

Just went and got faded up yesterday. Super satisfied with the cut! Eric faded me up, would and WILL BE recommending them to all the homiez!

I used to come here a lot but i wont be anymore im a handicap and cant i sit on my wheelchair for a long time i got duchenne muscular dystrophy and i got tracheostomy and the owner made me wait for 2 hours yesterday i waited for my turn than someone walks in than 10 minutes later she skips me and say i only take appointments and i have too wait because there are 3 more people ahead of me after 2 hours of waiting the owners name is Denise she was so disrespectful and i ended up leaving so please tell everyone i wouldnt recommend this place

I called before i drove out there and i was sat down as soon as i got there, the girls can give realy good fades, good service, and its a nice clean spot.

This place sucks!! Wouldnt recommend anyone to go there!. Wait time is over 2-3 hours and take people they know before other people waiting. If this place is by appointment only... they need to let that be known! Been here 2 times and was our last!!
