I dont know how to properly explain that I was fully satisfied with the entire sliding patio door installation. When I called them first they were cautious (we only handle Andersen windows, would you be okay with it?), which I liked. The salesperson, Nick, was knowledgeable and tried to answer my questions as much as possible, and the project coordinator explained each and every steps carefully, and most importantly they came clean with the project timeline.Literally everything went according to the plan and the project timeline, and the installed patio door is so much better than my previous one. During the wintertime the new patio door insulates so well that the temperature in my living room went up by two (!) degrees.I strongly recommend working with these people. C&L Ward installed Anderson triple patio doors for my Mom and Dad. The installers were neat, timely and performed the install with absolutely no damage to the walls or floors. The two polish gentleman who did the work were polite, sociable (while remaining focused on their work) and very thankful for the coffee and brioche we offered them. We had an excellent experience, are happy with the results and would do it again.

I did not have a good experience with this company. Purchased front and rear entry doors over a year ago. Confirmed that day that the glass for our front door was going to be obscured (rated 7). Received an email back confirming that the glass was obscured. When the crew arrived for install, the glass for the front door was clear. Then we also had issues with the back door. The installers used really short screws that worked their way out and the hinges need to be screwed back in. They came out to fix the problem twice and finally got it resolved where the screws were not coming out on the hinges. I also followed up regarding the glass, but had to contact them numerous times. I was told months ago they were looking into options to resolve it and then stopped contacting me so at this point, after spending a good amount of money with this company, I still do not have it the way I ordered.

I had my patio door replaced and they did a wonderful job the door opens and closes smoothly on its track no cold breezes in the winter no rain water intrusion during spring summer its a beautiful door well constructed well made great craftsmanship!

Professional sales person, great product, fast install and great clean up. What more could you ask for? Love the new windows!

Thanks again for a great set of new windowsWe like all of the above buttons. I think we paid sticker price. However it was less than the cost of full window replacement. (We just got new sashes.). They are performing much better than our old ones which apparently had sucked together and made football shaped things in the center of the window.The main insulation guy is clearly a valuable part of CL Ward co. We liked him very much.

Chip and Jake called on the day my Installation to confirm their time of arrival. They arrived on time and introduced themselves. They explained what they were going to do, including protecting the floor and furniture in the work area. They did everything they said. They worked non-stop until the work was done. The guys instructed me on properly securing the new patio door. These guys were so professional. I had C&L Ward replace a large window in my home. While it took some time to get the window, it was well worth it. The window looks great and I can already feel an improvement in the cold air coming through the window.The installers (Chip & Chuck) showed up right on the agreed time and couldnt have been more friendly. They answered all my questions and got right to work. It didnt take long at all and my window was replaced. They made sure to clean up, and outside the beautiful new window, you couldnt have known anyone had been there.

Very pleased with the replacement Andersen window sashes and also the recommendation by our installer to consider textured glass! Very happy with Cascade pattern! Also happy with the work out guy did on our 25 year old Andersen doorwall (sliding glass door) to make it slide easier. Replacing the track and the wheels made a huge difference! The new weather stripping will make a huge difference this winter! Happy to have done this work to keep our doorwall working for another year or two. They also installed a new handle on our Andersen screen door and it works great! Overall very happy with doorwall makeover/refresh and new window sash install!

My wife and I were looking for a front door and side panel replacement for a few years due to the frame of the door was decaying from direct exposure to the outside elements. We looked at different door suppliers with not much luck, my wife wanted leaded glass inlays in both the door and side panel to match.Browsing the internet I came across a company called C and L Ward. As I did sme research it became apparent that C and L Ward did door installation in northern Illinois and Michigan. I placed a call to setup an appointment. The gentleman who arrived was extremely polite and understood what my wife was looking for. We looked at numerous samples with custom designs.We pIcked out what we wanted, we were given a time table from placing the order and for a craftman to come out and due accurate measurements. There were two to three different places our door would be assembled and coated before delivery. We were assigned a coordinator by the name of Meghan. She kept us informed throughout the process of what step our door was at and at what facility our door was located. Meghan was the liaison between us and CL Ward. She was a real pleasure to hear from, very kind, polite, and professional. Weve never met this women but she was definitely the glue that bound us together with CL Ward on this project. We always knew in advance what to expect from the start of this project to its completion. The day of installation went like a well oiled machine.
