Peter and Jack were the best from start to finish. They added new flooring to match the existing first floor and refinished the first and second floors of our house. We also had two staircases that needed replacing, new treads, risers, railings, posts and spindles. The finished product was outstanding; it feels like a new house. Peter guided us through the job and gave us great choices of stains to pick from. Peter and Jack paid attention to details and were extremely clean. Peter and his team treated the job like it was their own house. We highly recommend Peter to anyone. Very professional and reasonably priced.

We just moved into our 100-year old house and wanted to keep the vintage charm alive. We have some original flooring with beautiful old wood boards and were not sure if those could be matched. Well, Peter did it! He and his crew took out the old carpeting in 4 of the rooms and installed new flooring that couldn’t have been a better match. Wonderful precise craftsmanship! Not only did they do a fabulous job with the installation, they also cleaned up nicely when they were done. There was no dust or debris to be found. Everything happened in a timely matter and they were done sooner than expected. Peter is wonderful to work with and we already have the next project for him lined up. We got our hard floor refinished and stained recently to Jacobean shade from light Oak. PJ was very accommodative in performing the work and did not mind making multiple visits as we had other works getting done at the same time. Very happy with service and quality of work .

Peter was terrific to work with from start to finish. We ended up removing carpet in our family and living rooms and installed hardwood to match the rest of our first floor. His team helped move furniture and then also moved it all back. Project turned out great and we would strongly recommend him to anyone. A big thing for me is someone who does what they say and shows up when they say they will and Peter definitely checks those boxes.

Peter and his crew did an outstanding job on redoing my hardwood floors in my living room and hallway. The floors had old dark stains that could not be completely sanded out, and yet Peter was able to blend the new colored stain so that you could not see the old stains. They did an excellent job on the project from start to finish (they even removed old carpet and padding and disposed of it). PJ Hardwood Flooring was reasonably priced, worked efficiently, were professional and courteous, and completed the project in a very timely manner. I would recommend PJ Hardwood Flooring and plan to use them when I am ready to have the floors done in some other rooms in my house.

He guided us re when we needed to be out of the house, mixed stain colors for us to choose from, was on time and courteous, and the floors turned out amazing! They also did a lot of repair which turned out fantastically. And the price was very reasonable.

Peter and his team do a wonderful job. I had pre-finished floors that had gaps between each slat. No other floor refinisher would agree to totally get rid of those gaps. Peter and his crew recently installed a laminate floor in our basement. I interviewed several contractors for the job. Peter was the ONLY contractor who got down on his hands and knees, looked over the material carefully, and checked the interlocking system to see what he was dealing with. From the moment his crew showed up, they were very professional and laid drop sheets from the main floor entrance to the basement, so as to keep the site as clean as possible. The job was completed not just on time, but early! They were meticulous in their cleanup and we are very pleased with their work. We will be hiring Peter again, and highly recommend him.

We love our new floors from Peter, Jack, and the PJ team. Theyre very professional with a strong attention to detail.

They didnt show up on the date they were scheduled to start (I had to call them).The crew that did the staining slopped stain all over the baseboards. Peter reset the toilet (though we offered to have a plumber do it) and when it leaked & the boards warped he ignored our phone calls & emails. We ended up having to pay someone else to come fix his mistake. He seemed like a nice guy, but only until something went wrong. Very disappointed.
