I had a complicated tax return done. The agent didn’t seem to know what she was doing but assured me she did. After I paid 650 for her doing my taxes I decided on a double check. I went to another agency & the savings he found was >$20,000. I should’ve followed my gut.I contacted H&R Block to get my money back & place a complaint. The manager seemed sincere & said he would get back to me. It’s been 2 mos. I would never go to H&R Block again. My last name is DeLUCA not Korinko

Spoke to Katherine (sp?) and she was so rude and nasty to us. She should be fired! We have never been spoke to like this before especially when we are looking to file our GE taxes. We will be taking our taxes elsewhere. Someone should take appropriate action with employees who behave this way. We are both thoroughly disgusted.

Alka didn’t put one of my 10-99 in tax form and latter got IRS letter to pay them $6000 and I also took HR protection which didn’t cover their own fault I end up paying $4990 so please be careful to go this branch avaid alka too

Not helpful at all. Because they have people coming in, they dont want to give you time at all. I understand the concerns but this is tax service we are talking about. The lady who tries to help me was so busy that they dont care about your situation. She wasnt even remotely interested in hearing anything from me. Only go there if you have a very very straight case, like one W2 and no other issues. I was very disappointed that a company like H&R block would be dealing with customers like this. I called in advance and booked an appointment and I informed over the phone multiple times that I need to speak to someone about my situation.

This is the second year I have gone to H&R Block and I always have a great experience. My first time was at the Elmhurst location and second was at Glen Ellyn. Staff is always so welcoming and very helpful. Karen S. Helped me out and made sure the process was super easy for me. She was thorough and explained each part of the process in a way that made sense. I so appreciated the patience and time taken! Great customer service and I will continue to use their services!

I dropped my documents at the 529 Roosevelt office on 7/1 after arranging to do so with George on 6/30. Only July 9th I called the office because I had not heard back. I called at 5:29 pm and spoke with Upma, she told me she could not find my paperwork and had no record of my return. I explained it was dropped off on the 1st. She said she would look and call me back. I had not heard back from anyone at the office on 7/10 so I called again. Upma answered, I explained who I was. She told me she could not find my return. She said there was one more place she could look. I asked to talk to George. I explained to George what happened. He said he could not look for it right now since there were people up front. He took my number and said he would call me back. On 7/11 I had not heard back from George, so I went to the office. After watching 2 people look in the same files that should have been checked the previous 2 days Carol found my paperwork and completed my return.

DO NOT GO HERE! The professional that filed my taxes last year kept secret from me that itemization needed to be above $12,770, thus making me pay three hundred dollars EXTRA to them to file the form. This person who will be labeled A.D. should be ashamed of themselves for how they took advantage! I swore H & R Block off as crooks because of what this woman did! I went to a REAL professional this year and they told me EXACTLY what happened and why it was so much.STAY AWAY! You will be robbed blind!
